Claims its an uprated part yet it has some feeble l brackets on the mounting part which will be as effective as a chocolate fire guard. The 240i one would do a better job
Always informative Luke, and I like that, I see you got some haters of your wrap, but truth most don't know the history behind,in 1975 whilst at school bmw had the 30 litre csl with this art work, and you bring back the memories of that with each time I see it,it's personal to you but I actually love it for not being part of the flock, well done you.
Just buy an M2. It’s several leagues above the 140 in terms of the drive. You’ll never get the outlay back on resale and trust me it will still never drive like an M2
We just don't get that vehicle in the United States unfortunately I want that so bad that one but we don't have it, what I've settled for is the x1 335i 2013, I'm going to configure it somewhat like you've done to that 140i
Agree. I also think nothing wrong with the wheels - work well particularly with the black accents on the car (and I’m not a fan of black wheels.) Maybe concentrate elsewhere like ARB (if not already done) and defo some proper M competition seats.
Anyone has any ideas where can I get my steering car wrapped exactly like Luke’s? Don’t mind travelling at all! I absolutely adore this Alcantara steering wheel but seems like can’t find any places that do it..
Personally I’d have gone for the OEM underbody brace (M240) as I don’t see a technical advantage of this aftermarket brace Aftermarket most likely a lot heavier but most likely not more effective
@@philiphawkins4684 well the brace is designed to transfer (or limit) tension stress only and no bending stress. Can’t see any weak behavior/resistance under tension stress of the OEM brace tbh. If there would be bending stress the aftermarket brace might or will be more stiff, it there shouldn’t be any bending forces
I have read a few times that the rear brace comes standard on the 3 door M140 but having just had one fitted to my 3 door model l can say that it isn’t standard (l have also read that they are listed as a standard part on the 3 door) bit of a mystery but hey ho ! The brace can be had for approximately £150 (genuine BM part) l enquired with Bowker BMW Blackburn - how much all in part and fitting in November 2022 - £380 YES THATS CORRECT £380 😳😳😳😳 !! THAT IS £330 TO FIT A GENUINE BMW PART THAT DIY ENTHUSIASTS ARE FITTING IN LESS THAN AN HOUR !!!! I had the brace and rear subframe bushes (4) fitted at CVM Fulwood Preston for £132 - the guys there are great 👍
The wrap looks like an Advert for Just Eat imo
Google street view car lol
Ronald McDonald……geezers a clown 🤡
Sorry mate but the wrap is absolutely horrendous !
Totally agree, this wrap is shockingly bad!!!
I really like it
Keep your wheels.
Did you break up with Chloe
100% get those alloys changed! But definitely not gloss black
Fitted B8s to my standard M140i 6 months ago. Very pleased with them, so much better than standard.

Garbage channel for me
Hey mate, where steering wheel cover from? It seems to be on a stock steering wheel.
Awesome video Luke, awesome car too. Really enjoy watching this build progress💯
Can't wait for the POV drive with the new set up.
Will this fit on f22 m240?!
Strip the wrap, original colour suits it better. The brace comes standard on the m135i 3 drs. Doesnt do much imo
Hey Luke, just a quick question: Where did you get your current rims from?
"gonna take it for a proper drive"
this guy talks like he knows how to drive but never actually does it....
Don’t know if the braces are “essential”. Should have put them on after the dampers to feel the difference, if any
Very, Very, Very unpopular opinion: do one wheel in blue, one in red, one in white and one in yellow?
Wow that’s actually a sick idea haha
Did you already fit the PU inserts for rear axle to chassis ?
Which toe and camber values did you adjust it to?
Man I love this car🥺❤️
Love the content too👏🏿

do not change wheels
I don’t think your next set should be black.
So the springs are still OEM?
No, they're motech's own stance springs - uprated and lowered.
Yeah, I would update the wheels fella, though I would also change the wrap so you do you mate.

How is your insurance anything near affordable? I'm mid-20's and any sort of mod increases my insurance SO much...
Ultra Racing Bars... haha XD

We're can I got maxton front and side Skirts v3 from who will have them in stock
It's surprising how much difference it makes. It doesn't look much but it works as they wouldn't manufacture them if they didn't..
Any reason why you removed your bucket seats?
I think Luke wanted them for his Golf R!
Yeah he said they were mega uncomfortable, 👍
What’s the weight of these Motech wheels ?
In 19'' Wheels alone no TMPS should be a little over 10KG , we will do a vlog when they land and confirm
That’s nuts!
Wrap looks class, not something I’d drive but I don’t know what people think is wrong with it.

why bilstein and not KW?
Not good comments there from Motech guy, come across as money grabbing sods!!!
(Business) As usual
How so ?
Mike is a Pen 15
Recommend the B8's?

Check out 'royal steering wheels'.

The factory brave is flimsy. This looks much more rigid.

Loving your M140i:)
Liberty Walk ….just doesn’t do anything for me… all a bit wanky
Great to catch up again , glad your happy with the next steps of the mods .
Please please please put it back tooooooo
Esteral Blue
It looked the best m140i
Before
Please
Tim
Every time I see the yellow you just know it’d look so nice fully yellow and black 😍
It's a wrap! A good 1 to..
