Hey i have a bmw 435d looking into buying this bushings, did you have before tramlining issues and did this fixed it ? Or the opposite and now you have more tramlining?
I guess sound/vibration increased a bit?
Hi, I've not found tramlining to be an issue after installing the bushings. There has been a small increase in road vibration and noise but very minimal.
The image on Powerflex website shows the control arm bushings as two parts that are so much easier to pop in by hand but I've ordered them and got the same as you. I read somewhere though that the ones you have are the old style? And how are they holding out anyway, 2 months old now? Cheers, Daren
Yeh the ones I have are the old style. The same thing happened to me, I thought I was ordering the new one in 2 parts but got these. The new ones are definitely easier to install
And how are they holding out? Are they still as good?@@LeoClarke44
Hey Leo, After a bit of to and fro via email with the distributor they said the 2 part version is the old type so you DO have the latest style after all.@@LeoClarke44
Just had mine changed this morning. Must better. Brake judder and 70mph wobble all gone
