Glad I found your channel. Instant sub. Not a lot of so called TOYOTA fans even know about this engine here in the states and I hope it stays that way. It's sad that good Corollas and Celicas are an arm and a leg nowadays thanks to the drift fad.

Yes, engine all done and running. Currently starting another project. Will upload more videos soon of my 3TGTE and the next project too

AWESOME Videos of the WHOLE rebuild process ! This is my Fav - as i never had the dollars to spend on the Kameari parts and so was good to see what the catalogue provides.. May i ask what brand of head gasket you use, as id like to see what the cost is for the next stage above the Cometic (that i currently use) - Cheers Andy..
p.s. keep up the good work !!

Hi, Sorry about the slow response. I found that head gasket about 10 years ago, I honestly can't remember where I got it from, but is was a mutli layer stainless steel version, cost was about $300. Pretty sure Kameari have them though

What retainers keeper did you use and the part number if possible

Hi mate, its a long time ago so I don't have the part numbers anymore. But I purchased them from Kameari when I was in Japan. Here's the link, www.kameariengineworks.co.jp/

maybe an Alfa valve spring tool, looks similar to the Alfa twin cam head from the 105 and 116 series

Good day What part number are those valve stem seals

Hi Mate, I purchased a complete gasket set for the 3TGTE which included these seals, so not sure the part number. I think you will find that they are the same as the 2TG, 2T and 3T engines.
