Criminally under- rated and under- exposed Australian rock legends caught on the digital cusp. Die hard fans unable to find vinyl copies of their only good (eponymous) album, mostly this, and a record company who thought CD's were good enough for the mugs.... Many thanks, STV, you can find nothing of them, this raw and live, in Australia.
BTW, Suzi DiMarchi rocks & they were one tight unit! Fook this is good! So tight, so well recorded and just as enjoyable 35 years later. They make many of their international contemporaries of the time look as lame as they were....
@@jimmyhopkins1 You miss the point, sonny. In 1991 there was a choice. Consumers went with what they could play on the equipment they had. You are the fool who seems to think "digitally remastered" music from the decades previous sounds "better". If it sounded so bad then....why did it sell? What magic has been cast upon the Stones and Beatles and Floyds of yesteryear? It's also way easier to steal ones and zeros, rather than magnetic tape - which is where this came from, mate.
Channel 9 Studios in Richmond, VIC, Australia on September 25th 1991. Some of the tracks appear in the singles, "Australian Hard Rock - BABY ANIMALS One Word CD Single 1992" and "Baby Animals-Painless"
I keep seeing single tracks from this on RUclips, so here's the full show, taken from VHS🎸
God i haven't thought about this band in years. This takes me back.
Opened for VH as I recall. They made some noise in the US.
