Ceremony with an incredible performance and a moving speech by Peter Frampton. Share with us what you think of Peter Frampton and his big night. Peter Frampton deserved this night a long time ago and we, who really like rock, deserve it too. Peter Frampton performed "Baby (Somethin's Happening)" and was then joined by Keith Urban for "Do You Feel Like We Do?". He then accepted the award for being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 19, 2024. Presentation by Roger Daltrey (The Who). I was hesitant to upload this video because my channel is only dedicated to Portuguese rock, but I couldn't resist. :) I invite you to watch some of the videos on my channel, especially Portuguese rock from the 80s/90s. I'll take great pleasure in that. I live in Portugal and I only had the opportunity to attend a concert featuring Peter Frampton. It was in 1998 at the Lisbon World Trade Fair with Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band. Present were Ringo Starr (vocals, drums, percussion), Peter Frampton (guitar, vocals), Jack Bruce (bass guitar, keyboards, guitar, vocals), Gary Brooker (keyboards, organ, vocals), Mark Rivera (saxophone, guitar, organ, keyboards, percussion, vocals) and Simon Kirke (vocals, drums). Indeed, that was a Peter Frampton night. He was absolutely amazing.
"Do You Feel Like We Do" is one of the greatest songs in the history of rock music. Pete's guitaring alone is spine tingling. A joy to listen to every time.

I can't believe this is happening to me! Fiesta Island, a beauty named Brandy, her car, and I found heaven. I never saw her again. Best love story ever. Brandy, you're a fine girl. I hope your life brought you every dream you ever had because you gave me mine that night. What does someone do for an encore?
I was 18 in 1976 also! What a year! I STILL get goosebumps when songs from Frampton Comes Alive come on the radio! Couldn’t wait to buy the album! What an amazing guitarist and artist! Such a great guy too.. so humble! Never had the chance to see him perform in those early years, but FINALLY got to see him (AND Don Felder of the Eagles) play at Indian Ranch about 10 years ago in Webster MA.. front row center!! What an experience! 2 of my fav guitar gods… together! Totally MAGICAL! We were totally blessed to have grown up in the 60’s and 70’s! Love a lot of today’s music, but nothing will ever come close to these incredible artists! Rock on Frampton and all you listeners!🎶✨✌️🎶
67 here too. Born in 57 graduated high school 75 a magical year. Saw Frampton the day after I graduated from Marina High In San Leandro, California. My buddy and I saw Frampton across the bay in San Francisco's Winterland Friday June 13th 1975. Parts of that show were recorded and appeared on the legendary Frampton Comes Alive Album. That show was incredible. It was the start of my life. 18 years old. What a wonderful era the 70s were musically and so many other fun times.
@@brewbee418 Devil? Fuck, no. The deal is with one's own soul. Being grounded withIN oneself. That is the key to success, whether publicly or privately.
I was born in 1977 and Frampton was played regularly. I continue the tradition and have been able to see him live 3 times. Almost 4 but it was rained out.
It’s great to see Framton finally get his due. He earned it and survived financial ruin by his manager and never quit. Peter you never lost your credibility.
Well said!! I'm 71 years old, and listening to him play do you feel like I feel up there on that stage give me Goosebumps all over again!!!!! Absolutely love Peter Frampton and the memories his music gave❤
My dad brought Peter into our lives in 76. I was 9. Dad isn’t with me anymore physically, but when Peter plays I feel his presence. Thank you, Peter. ❤
Me too, he was my first concert, I was 8 🤣 I absolutely love him, never missed a concert when he was in town, even a small dive bar when he was trying to resuscitate his career back in the 90's. ❤

We love you so much Peter Frampton. You have brought so much joy and melody into our lives. Through your singing voice. Your song writing. Most of all your incredible, beautiful guitar 🎸 playing. Thank you Peter. 🎉 Frampton Comes Alive! Indeed! 🕉
Peter Frampton and that incredible album, "Frampton Comes Alive!" were one of the great flashback, happy times memories of my youth. Thirteen years old and JUST starting to find and purchase records that I, me, myself, and my thirsty for figuring out my own identity and pursuits in MANY expressions of art. This record was one of the only, if not THE ONLY record in my older sister's (Rest in Peace) collection that i could also REALLY enjoy as much as she did. It helped us bond and become closer just in time. I truly believe, if not for this recording, we were sure to not have anything like the fantastic relationship we developed after realizing we in fact had so much love for one another through the wonderful understanding that there were many other thing that we both cared about in this crazy life. She passed more than three decades ago and every single time I hear anything Frampton did, I get flooded with fond memories of her AND the incredibly powerful bond and love we had for each other.
That’s our Keith. He has a ministry of friendship and encouragement in the music world. Plus one of the most talented musicians around these days. From an Aussie who is so proud of him.
“Frampton Comes Alive”, “Do you feel like I do?” would play on the chrome table jukebox, on the Formica tables at Venturi’s Pizza, Marlton, NJ. It was the background music, everywhere. We picked it, though. 0.10 cents, for one song. Three songs for a quarter. It was the first popular music experience of my life. Thank you for making my family smile, dance in our seats, laugh a little having fun! My Mom laughing with my Dad. Everyone eating pizza from the chromed pedestal of homemade sauce, with oil and extra cheese. You set the tone, Peter. You rock. Congratulations on a long deserved induction. So happy to see your performance! Your playing is so beautifully phrased, toned, intentional, and so much an extension of you. Tonight, you’re in the Hall, but you’ve been in my hall, since there was music in our VW campervan. You, with Keith, what a smoke show. Bravo!
As a 62 year old guy who’s been listening to Peter for the last 48 years (It started with Frampton Comes Alive)when my late friend Larry introduced me to this album and being a guitar player already at age 14,I was smitten, bitten and hooked and have been a fan every since (not bad a from a southern black kid from Atlanta ) congratulations Peter on your induction into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
Peter Frampton what a great guitar player it's about time putting him in the Hall of Fame as one of the greatest guitar players I never thought anyone gave him much credit and he's such a great guitar player we all love him God bless Peter Framton.🙏🙏🙏🙏💜
It’s about damn time he was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. I’ve seen him 10 times over the years and I am always mesmerized by his guitar playing. Congratulations Peter, well earned.
I love, love, love Peter. I cannot even hear Baby I love your way without just smiling with my entire soul, it is, and will always be one of the songs that guides my life, a true masterpiece. Well deserved Peter, you never faded away for me, you were always there like a ray of light, congrats you deserve every moment of this.
Saw him on the "Frampton Comes Alive" tour......."76.... it was a classic! To the performance at induction...pure Frampton joyously doing what he does.....
Saw him at The Orlando Sports Stadium, FL , same tour! INCREDIBLE SHOW!!! Had been listening to "Comes Alive" album for a while already but what is truely INCREDIBLE, although I loved it, (a new, harder some what, Frampton we hadn't heard for a while), it was "Frampton's Camel" that made me a true Frampton fan! That vinyl spent mucho time on my turntable for a few yrs before "Live" existed! Several songs made the grade on "Live" as on "Camel" previously! The large difference being most were acoustic versions or done with much less electronic adulteration! Allowed one to hear and appreciate the truly enjoyable talent he posesses!!! So if you like Peter Frampton on "Comes Alive" and have never heard "Frampton's Camel", waste no time in doing so. You WILL be further impressed!👍 Almost forgot to mention that I saw Peter Frampton in a "Bah, Bah Blacksheep" episode with Robert Conrad from "The Wild, Wild, Wild West"! Caught Mr Conrad descending the escalator at Tampa International Airport, got to chat briefly and shake his hand, meant much to me as an adolescent fan of Jim West!!! Great post o outro lugar, thanks!!!
Omg, he soooo deserves this!!❤ Congratulations Mr. Frampton. Thank you for so many great memories of my youth and thank you for just being such a beautiful person! Frampton Comes Alive was the first album I ever bought with my own money! I was 10 and I will never forget it...Ever.
I hope that you get his early stuff as well , I had seen him in concert a few times before the big live record and he was great each time . Also the Humble Pie songs he was on were first rate . You don't want to bypass those early Humble Pie albums - Frampton was rocking back then .
Keep smilin' .... You're a true icon. One of the greatest guitar players. Love the way Keith Urban was admiring your guitar playing and that true happiness you have within, No One compares to you. Your smile melts our hearts. You are one amazing individual 🎸 God Bless❤

We love you so much Peter Frampton. You have brought so much joy and melody into our lives. Through your singing voice. Your song writing. Most of all your incredible, beautiful guitar 🎸 playing.
Thank you Peter. 🎉
Frampton Comes Alive! Indeed! 🕉
Definitely!!!❤
Love his natural playing. Creative, spontaneous. Human.
Awesome performer
God bless Bowie
Frampton CRUSHED IT!!
Rich, VERY RICH!!!
Frampton Comes Alive, one of my first albums as a teenager. Love Peter Frampton! Congratulations and much deserved ❤
Keith Urban has a lot of class for not over playing Frampton, he stayed right ín his lane.
Hes a good man
They both have class and a lot of talent!
Geddy Lee did the same when he filled in for the late Chris Squire for Yes's induction.
Tears of joy watching this 😂. Thanks for posting it!
Thank you, I liked knowing. It was worth uploading. I hesitated because my channel is dedicated only to Portuguese rock. :)
Peter Frampton Is ALIVE!!!
Well Deserved.
❤ Peter Frampton.
Beautiful, creative, up/beat music, that moves you and rocks you! 🎸
Amazing! An icon! Thank you Roger Daltry & Keith Urban. And thank you, the forever positive, and humble (pie) - “Mr. Peter Frampton!”
Well Deserved and Past Overdue Recognition!!! 👏👏👏🫶
It’s about damn time he was inducted into the Rock
And Roll Hall of Fame.
A great soul. That makes his playing and singing unsurpassed.
Class act😊
#1. Peter Frampton comes alive.
Peter Frampton and David Bowie just wow
I was there in Chicago at Soldier Field for the Concert during the Air and Water Show! You had to have been there!
It's about TIME!!!!! One of the greatest albums ever. Still has it, and they found his missing guitar!!
Long overdue but rightly deserved from the one and only Peter Frampton. Great! 10/24
What a fantastic performance. Well deserved Mr. Frampton.
Keep smilin' .... You're a true icon. One of the greatest guitar players. Love the way Keith Urban was admiring your guitar playing and that true happiness you have within, No One compares to you. Your smile melts our hearts. You are one amazing individual 🎸
God Bless❤
