Ross Hannaford is a certified aussie rock guitar legend. RIP. Gonna miss your insanely brilliant guitar magic...i was hooked the moment i heard this song and your playing in 1971.

I was learning to play guitar in 1971 and picked up quite a few licks from Daddy Cool's records. I had hair back then and it was virtually the same as Ross Wilson's.

@@carolinegodden4364 . . I'm 68 nowadays, and right up until age 66 I still had my powerlifter's build, but then by the time I'd hit 67 things had begun to go wrong, little by little. First to go was my back, which made it too hard to keep lifting due to the pain. Then I started to lose some of the fine motor skills in my hands, but I kept going. Then in November 2021, my skills deserted me ON STAGE!! My hands went completely spaz on me, in front of every fan and supporter I had! Now I've got nothing to do and all day every day to do it. . . . .

Was the first concert my friends and I ever went to. Caught the bus from Swansea to Newcastle show ground, must’ve been around 71 , even took girls with us. Remember being totally mesmerised by Ross W singing and dancing in a baggy white suit and being blown away by Ross H’s playing - he was wearing a cap with a propeller on it 🙏. Great days - “come back again”🌌🥳

Jilly, your man hanging out here. Say, how is John Farnham's recovery going?
Does he need mates to go fishing yet? Or not quite up to that? Let me know. Bruce, BUGS and I will come and sit quietly, whist John never shuts up with his telepathy.
I'm afraid, we are too late for the old, smother his face with a pillow 🔱. Dang.
