Unfortunately the editor of the concert footage thought this was a good time to show random audience members doing nothing of interest instead of showing a close-up of Jeff's hands, which would have been a real delight for those who don't know how amazing this performance is, with Jeff hitting harmonics and manipulating them using the tremolo bar. A rare opportunity missed by the editor, what a shame. Then, Jeff plays People Get Ready.

I’m 70ish y.o. and prefer Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Trucks, Haynes, Bonamassa, and more to be better for multiple reasons (contrary to those who have called Beck the ‘BEST EVER’). But THIS is the 1st time I can honestly say I thought was Beck was 👏👏 ! It’s too bad there aren’t more posted from the same concert - for now that is, but hopefully more to come!
All of those guitarplayers you mention are Masters on this Instrument. They all have an own style and special skills. Jeff Beck was a league on his own, no one could play like him. And nobody really tried to copy his unique technic and feeling to tell stories with his guitar, because you must fail....
