Yeah. It looks easy on video. But she didn’t show all the difficult parts, I’m sure there were a few rough patches. Like cutting the 45 degree angle and nailing in the right corners. And I’m not sure the caulking will hold up well over time. That lower section could have been finished a little bit better and would have made the cabinets much sturdier since the pax is made of particle boards. I have the PAX. So I know each section should be beefed up a bit to hold well over the long haul.
I would love that closet. I am all for buying the Pax unit and having you, Devin, and your father-in-law come on over and install it. 😉 Beautiful job Stefani. It was different, and enjoyable watching you Devin work together on this project. I am sure your in-laws love it. Thanks for sharing.
I always admire people that can do their own work. Great team work. Very nice closet. I paid to have our master closet done-we love it. I used Ikea book cases for my office piece worked it and had my carpenter instal and pur molding. Looks great.
This is a nice addition to your previous ikea closet videos. These are really helpful both as inspiration and as tutorial videos. Thank you for sharing them.
I cant believe you got all the pieces. I’ve been waiting since January for the drawers and told it will be in stock in September!!! Love what you did. Plan on finishing mine same way.
I finally got all mine.. been on the prowl since December and it’s now April. You have to sign up for stock alerts and check daily. I did have to revise my plan because a few of the wardrobes have been out of stock for months and they weren’t able to give me a restock date. I even ordered and was given a refund because they oversold. Can be quite annoying having huge boxes all over the house but I’m excited to start this project once I get a few days off
Hi Stefani, I enjoy your videos. Wonderful Job. I have installed three IKEA kitchens and have assembled dozens of pieces of furniture. I am big fan of their products. I like your use of wood strips, baseboard and crown molding to give them a nice finished look. The one thing that I would do is to get filler strips for the ends where you have what looks like a 6 inch gap. When IKEA doesn't have filler strips that are big enough, I have purchased an extra door or shelf to do the job.
We just installed our pax kit, I was researching crown molding and came across your video. Thanks for convincing me to do it, the moldings are a great addition! Great job!
Spectacular closet yet again, the whole clan was involved this time around, great to see. Keep them coming Stefani, wishing you continued success and thank you for sharing with us and making it look oh so easy.
I love the Ikea Pax units, you can be so creative with them! I have a horrible built in wardrobe i'm looking to tear out and fill with these! another brilliant video!
First time visiting your channel and I must say this is so very well done. Tools, techniques, and supplies well videoed with all the details. Thanks, I'm looking into your other videos.
Looks great! Love the crown molding. I’m curious about the single detached unit on the one wall. Would it have been possible to change the dimensions of one of the cabinets on the wall beside it and then use another corner unit to fill that gap?
Turned out nice. Should have taken the storage shelves to the ceiling... very valuable real estate up there. Could have stored luggages/travel bags/seasonal clothes ect.
Loved what you did with your wardrobes!! Can't wait to do something similar when we are done renovating. Also just wanted to give you a tip for your flickering footage - you can get rid of those bands by changing your shutterspeed/aperture. Probably need to lower your shutterspeed - the lines are caused by your interior lights 😊
Thats really good looking! I would of put a tall mirror instead of the cabinet next to the door and a seating in the center of the room! Great videos 👍🏻
So watching you assemble your closet and how you trimmed it out helps me to know how I need to finish trimming mine out. The instructions were not that clear so thank you.
Wow, this is cool. I had no idea about these from Ikea. Thank you for using my fun song "It's a Breeze" at 7:50! My music is also on all streaming apps, plus I just released a new song on Thematic called "Unstoppable Me." Btw, you're amazing!
I commented earlier on your excellent job you’ve done and this “PAX” closet is wonderful too. Home Depot should give you support for all the fine Ryobi products you’re using and in that way promoting. Keep up the great work.
I see that you installed the wardrobes directly over the carpet. Have you done any installations on hard floor and then carpeted? We will be replacing the carpet in the room, but not sure if we should put carpet under or up to the robes. Thanks for your vid...it'll definately be a go-to when we start building!
Nice job! Just discovered this channel yesterday. All your videos are very inspiring! One thing that would be helpful maybe for future videos is to include a rough estimate of how long it took you to complete each project.
Stefani its looking really good. I am doing the same and stuck with the crown section. Could you please show or add the link of the lumber you used for supporting the crown
Approximately how much did your closet cost? We are building a walk in and I need shelving. I know it depends on size and what you want but just trying to get an idea. Thanks!
Thank you for the awesome detailed video. I have almost all my PAX boxes in place and I was searching way to cover seams and give it the custom built in look
Wow! Amazing work! The pax planner code that you have shared seems to a different design than the one you have showed in this video.. could you please share the design code for the closet that you have assembled in this video? Thanks for sharing your incredible work!
Great! I like how easy it all looks, not! 😵💫 I’ll be starting my fitting this weekend, not looking forward to it as I know it won’t be anything like this video! 😂
i had so much trouble attaching the floppy back to the frame because it kept folding into itself. After unsuccessfully attaching the back, I tried to raise the frame and try to attach the back vertically-- the entire frame collapsed splitting some to the dowels and the bottom connection. Thank you for the idea of using the sticks to hold the fold straight.
Super nice end result. Remember to always take one side of the wardrobe into the closet first, so you can see that you can straighten a whole wardrobe, without bumping into the ceiling or the other walls. If it is cramped, you can assemble the wardrobe standing in place. Need a little more hands then. Another thing is that the shelves are made of chipboard and have fragile edges. Be careful with these. Another thing to keep in mind with IKEA furniture is that a little wood glue helps a lot to avoid unstable furniture after a while of use.
As a professional IKEA pax installer The way to do efficiently is to build the units first then mount, not one by one but all at once Also those drywall anchors are terrible Best ones are toggler alligators And for baseboards you did use the right tool The oscillating tool is what I use too For the drawers the sliders should be installed all at once they are 6 holes from each other and shelf on the top drawer is 5 holes. It's more efficient to do them all at once, same with drawers instead of one by one Great job either way for a first timer looks great The
This is beautiful! I considered getting the pax system from IKEA but found they are in back order (until ‘winter time’) but bc I found your channel I love your custom build series even MORE! There is no wasted space with the customer made closet. I’m still watching videos on your channel 🤣🤣
I enjoyed watching. Your attention to detail was impressive. One thought & one question: Maybe add top of unit ambient lighting and some halogen lighting tied to a motion sensor on the inside of the units. Question, with the crown molding, it looks like you negate the tops of the units from being additional storage for things like suit cases, or boxes of shoes rarely worn, & things like that. There were nails point out making a difficult situation for anyone in the future who would try to store things up there. Have you thought of adding MDF on top to make those tops functional?
My husband kindly asks that you quit making these things look easy. 🤣. What a great job. Looks so high end.
This really is easy…we put ours together fast

It's easy on a new home like this..on old homes like mine..over 100 yo..not so much
😂😂😂
Honestly, The Arizona Thunder really drove me insane!
Tell me about. 18 minutes of “Arizona thunder” 🤯
Soooo annoying. Silence would be much better. Otherwise love the video, music distracted from it too much
@@katyantis turn your volume off, it's easier to mute than complain
Thank you Stefani, we were totally inspired by you and have just finished our Pax wardrobes. You made us believe we could do it and we have! ❤
Nice job, Stefani! Well done you two!

Thank you guys. I got some ideas to build something to hang my clothes instead of buying a wardrobe.
I always admire people that can do their own work. Great team work. Very nice closet. I paid to have our master closet done-we love it. I used Ikea book cases for my office piece worked it and had my carpenter instal and pur molding. Looks great.
Taka żona Stefani to skarb, nie dość że ładna i zgrabna to jeszcze meble zmontuje, obiad ugotuje a po robocie jeszcze po pipkuje :)
This is a nice addition to your previous ikea closet videos. These are really helpful both as inspiration and as tutorial videos. Thank you for sharing them.

Same! Those were my FIRST thoughts, my store hasn't had everything consistently since Jan too....🥴
Please I live in Florida in Vero Beach, where can I buy the materials of this 8 'size to assemble what I

I did it on my own, easy really and with the ‘heavy’ mirror sliding doors. Trick is to send the family out!!!
That fighter-stash is epic. Reminds me of Goose.
Wow....I have to say this was one of the best closet tutorials I have ever watched. Great job👍

Great job with the trim and crown molding!
We just installed our pax kit, I was researching crown molding and came across your video. Thanks for convincing me to do it, the moldings are a great addition! Great job!
Wow!!! Wow!!!! You have done the best IKEA Pax system display ever! I will do my best to follow your instructions. Amazingly beautiful ❤
Hello Stefani and hubby, this closet organizer is amazing, only if my closet could look this beautiful. God Bless guy’s.☺️🙏🏾💕❤️👍🏾
This came out beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!
Great job both of you, only extra thing I would do is cut carpet and put frames directly on subfloor...
I am not lying when I see that it is my dream to have a Pax closet
That is a huge spare that became a walk in closet, it is so beautiful
Quite an impressive build, i love the attention to detail on the molding.
Used your idea for the 1/4" thick trim boards for where two PAX cabinets join together!
Thanks for the great idea.
Spectacular closet yet again, the whole clan was involved this time around, great to see. Keep them coming Stefani, wishing you continued success and thank you for sharing with us and making it look oh so easy.
That extra trim makes a huge difference. Thanks for sharing.
Wow how beautiful and spacious!! Love it!!
Absolutely beautiful🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love the Ikea Pax units, you can be so creative with them! I have a horrible built in wardrobe i'm looking to tear out and fill with these! another brilliant video!
Looks great! You saved about $10,000 not having a closet outfit do the work. It's sickening how much they charge. Yours looks awesome!
It's not really sickening if you consider the quality of custom cabinets... They will last at least twice as long as Ikea
How beautiful!❤
Looks great and professionally done. Thanks so much for sharing. God bless.
Loved what you did! Espiecally the wardrobes!
Wow, the garage floor was beautiful!
You did such a great job! Thankyou so much!!

Thats really good looking! I would of put a tall mirror instead of the cabinet next to the door and a seating in the center of the room! Great videos 👍🏻
This looks amazing and definitely gave me tips on what I need to do to mine. Good job!
Wish my wife was handy and creative like you 😊 amazing job! Keep up the great work 🤙👍
Absolutely lovely. Thank you.
Love this! Exactly the video I needed!! Great job! Thanks
thanks stefani i totally will follow this.
Omg I had no idea they did that! I love your videos!
It’s a game changer !!!
I have never seen the corners done like that and I love it! Did you have to cut a cabinet or is it sold that way ??
What an amazing transformation!
Look great what kind of molding you use for the top

looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
I am surprised you didn't fill the corner gaps with board or make a small shelf in that space. ?? A lot of work & looks nice, great job !!!
thanks for sharing...lovely music..too...make my day!

I’m curious what you’d do with the corners now that ikea no longer has a corner specific piece!
Why did you not take out the carpet under he cabinets? Just curious
Because they're novices, or just lazy...
What walk in closet do you like the 1 you made or the ikea pax 1. Like the finishing touches you put on the ikea pax.
Beautiful work done by both of you. Beautiful and very smart closet❗️👌
May I ask what was the cost. Thank you for sharing
would you sometimes remove the carpet underneath the wardrobe ? would it give a better look
Great! I like how easy it all looks, not! 😵💫 I’ll be starting my fitting this weekend, not looking forward to it as I know it won’t be anything like this video! 😂

Love to hear! Thank you for watching!
Nicely done. Big fan of your work.
Well done Stefani and team, they look really high end. Great video
Where did you get those wood strips
Great set up and nice ideas with tidying the edges up but I think you could do with some more nails in...

I saw how you blow out your nails on the crown molding, I just find out it depends on the angle how you hold your braid nailer gun.
Nice video. The ikea code for the design doesn’t work. Please update it as I would like to use the design as a starting point. Thank you
Was this piece customized for the corner space connecting to the back wall?
You did a great job!
Really loved it. May I know how much it costed?
Varies each PAx Wardrobe is roughly around $150 more or less depending on size each item is sold separately from drawers, shelves, rods etc.
