I liked how you compare two different systems. I also love that you said don't hang the rod more than 84 in because most people wouldn't be able to get it.
I agree that IKEA is great for closets organization! I got a ELVARLI system because it was the one that fit the best in my closet space. All the others left too much waisted space or were too big and wouldn’t fit. The really nice thing is that because they have so many to choose from one is likely to work for your space. But, I really thank you for doing this video and showing people the differences!
Thank you for your informed reviews! It would also be nice if you can give us alternatives to getting an organized closet for less/cheaper than the systems out there using easy DIY options/products. I would love to see that in a future video! Thank you. Lovely video as always.
You are absolutely fabulous. What stores do you usually do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on anything like soda or water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? It would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping
We have PAX on one side of the wall and would've put it all around our closet if one side didn't have baseboard heaters on it. So we settled on Aurdal. Both were super easy to install
I'm hoping to start renovating our bedroom soon and your video is very informative. I had my eye on the PAX as we have a full wall to utilize. I was intimidated to use the Ikea web design but you make it look so easy. I can't wait to start.
Hello. Great video. Do you know the measurements of the closet you did with the Aurdal time stamp 4:09? I love how you put a rod on the side going the other way. I have an L shape closet and trying to figure out the best way to configure it.
Thanks for the indepth review! I was wondering if the backing on the PAX system could be removed? I have a water shut off in my closet so I need to be able to access it.
My only issue with the komplement drawers for Pax is that they don’t pull out all the way (I fold the Konmari way - standing up) so I lose a third of the drawer. Do the Audral drawers pull out further?
For the pax do you have to rip out the baseboards for it to fit? I just installed all the baseboards in my room and had no idea people pull them out when installing the pax! I'm so sad I do not want to take them out!
Yeah, it definitely helps the unit to sit flush against the wall; otherwise it's not steady and could feel wobbly. It's always best to move the baseboards for the best fit. I'll be having to do that in two weeks as well for my new closet! The sacrifices we make, huh!
Great video! I initially wanted the Pax but decided to go with the Aurdal and have them in my kid’s closets! I have the pieces for my closet still waiting on the long suspension rail but I’m may just get two or 3 of the small ones instead!
Hi we installed the whole closet with aurdal Go with the smaller rails and piece them together. We had to saw it to the right measurements. Love the system. We needed the shorter depth. I like that it is free standing and we can dust underneath. Plus you can put the drawers closer together for a more custom look
@@veronicabesseyhairstudio5876 thank you! That’s what I’m probably going to have to do Since I’ve had all the other pieces since like summer and plus I would like to do it while I’m off during the holiday!
I have the triple closet Aurdal in my personal bedroom, which was installed prior to my moving in. I give it a big thumbs down. I can't stand the wire type shelving. You can't put any clothing item on it without it leaving marks, so I bought containers the length and width of to put them in, which is not practical when having to search for. With all that being said, the closet it far too small for my clothing and shoes. I'd need a couple of rooms made into closets, for my needs. Lol but true! I'm totally into fashion. I can see the Aurdal closet for my dog if I had one as I'd have clothes and toys for too .. haha ☺️ I can see it working for people with less needs for space, although!
Wow! So wait, in your Pax closet, on the left, I noticed that your shirts were hung differently; not side-by-side but one infront of the other facing outward. Is that just your own customization or an existing option?
Important difference between the two is the height. The pax system is about 1 inch taller than my ceiling, whereas the aurdal is about 2-3 shorter than my ceiling. So the choice was made for me unfortunately.
I have a real struggle space and wonder if you have any ideas. Under my stairs is where the pole is to hang coats but the space goes back and then wraps around but the ceiling starts to lower. I put some plastic shelves to store things but with coats it’s hard to get back there and it’s a hot mess. Any suggestions
@@thediymommy I’ve put hooks on the side walls but I don’t know how to make the best use of the space under the stairs. There is a good amount of space
I have the same crazy closet configuration in the attic room of a house we are currently renovating. I'm starting to think about how I will organize it.
We have had so many PAX systems. They are the best.
I agree!
I think they both shine in their own way. I like them both for different areas ❤ nice job 👏🥰
I liked how you compare two different systems. I also love that you said don't hang the rod more than 84 in because most people wouldn't be able to get it.
Just what I was looking for to store my wife's and mine excess clothes in our garage since the closets in the house are completely full. Great job!
Definitely like the pax better. I can totally use a couple in my closet. You always do such an amazing job with building and organizing. 💗

We used Elvarli in a room we converted into a cedar closet. It's freestanding, so we can take the whole thing with us if/when we move. Very sturdy!
This video was the best ive seen. You provided the info in such a great way and took all the guesswork out of it.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the advice! Just installed the Ardall. Looks great.

Very informative and detailed. I’m really needing a closet refresh and this helped. Thanks.

Girl, I was just thinking about doing this. You are always on point. As always, thanks for your shared content.
Thanks for watching! 😊
The Pax looks nicer! Great video Christina!
Aurdal seems a better choice for a kids/hallway closet.
When installing a PAX system do you recommend removing any trims or carpet if they were already provided by the builder in a walk in closet?

Pax all day although the other might more suitable for a children's space. Beautiful lady btw 🥰🤗✨

Where is the beautiful wall art from, the bluish one

Thank you for sharing! For both, I prefer the solid shelves over the wire/basket shelves. However, they're definitely more expensive!
Thank you for the information, but I want it to do a walking closet with the Aurdal, but you think it would nt work ? Is it only for inside closets?
Yes, I think you could do a walk-in closet with Aurdal.
Christina how about the quality?
I've had no issues with either system over the last 7 years or so!
Wow! So wait, in your Pax closet, on the left, I noticed that your shirts were hung differently; not side-by-side but one infront of the other facing outward. Is that just your own customization or an existing option?
Was going to do Pax but Ikea doesn’t have the frames in stock

Hi Christina, I love the one you put on your closet aww looks so chic, I would love if one day you do my closet lol💐
Can you mix the units?
Cuestión for you if I already have a closet but is not from ikea can you still add just the drawer??
No
As always, I love you guys so much....woah you lived in FLORIDA.....next door to me!!!!! Haha
Good analysis
Loved your video! Subscribed and rang the bell for ALL!
How much did all of the pax system cost you?
Are the drawers of either full extension?
Very interesting. Thank you!

I wonder if it would help to swap out the rod for hooks? 🤔

Do these work fine in sliding door closets?
You'd need to measure your closet to determine if these would fit.
Can't find it available in Germany, that's so sad OMG
what's an inch?
Great video ❤ Thank you!
