It’s been awhile since I’ve seen an upload on your 7.3. I am about to replace my fuel pump and watched your video, thanks. What coolant are you using? I remember you finished school awhile back and hope it’s been going good. I appreciate your tutorials and really enjoyed your breakdown on how the fuel pump works.
I'm glad to hear I can help you out! That's the reason I started the channel, to help spread the knowledge. I'm just using Peak fleet precharge coolant that already has Supplemental Coolant Additives so you don't need to worry about adding them separately.
Always used an 8mm for the vacuum chamber on the passenger side. I also have to say, thank goodness the OBS engine bay is so roomy, ive removed suoer duty valve covers, and they are painful.
It's been running fine, just needs a new turbo, and to fix an exhaust leak. I've got 426k miles on the odometer, and as far as I can tell the transmission is original. I called the previous owner at one point and he didn't recall having it rebuilt (he probably had it for 250k+ miles, I've had it for 80k miles thus far). I do take it easy and don't romp on the accelerator all the time.
Thank You.
Excellent video thanks

Every time I feel like I've gotten all the seals on the 7.3L ordered, there is always one or more that I missed...seems never ending...

How does a guy get in contact with you to ask questions?
How's the old girl been running? Out of curiosity how many transmissions has it gone through?

Did you have to add any oil before starting the truck? Did you loose much?
I didn't really lose too much oil. I think my truck was pretty full on oil so took it a little below the full mark, but still well above the add mark.
Do you have a video of intercooler setup
I don't, but could probably put this on the docket to do at some point!
For the rear plug you think the flex head ratchet 1/2 inch won’t do the job?
It's possible that would work as well. I didn't have one, so ended up just making the tool instead.
Tried that. Too much torque even for ½ in flex head
How many miles till you have to do this
I don't think it's a mileage thing; it most likely depends on the age of the truck. The old seals only last so long before they begin to break down.
