    Also, here's another secret about Malo Mart: in the Italian translation of the original game, the red potion sold in the shop is mistakenly called Magic Potion, and the description says that you can only use it with the Magic Armor.
    This gives some more insight on how the magic was supposed to be used. Early on in development, turning into a wolf required magic, as proven by some unused dialog with Midna. After that function was removed, the magic was kept anyway for a bit, to be used only with the magic armor. But in the end the devs decided to scrap it completely.

  • @Solibrae
    @Solibrae 2 года назад +107

    Maybe the places featured in the Expensive Mart's pictures were used as inspiration for some of the buildings in Twilight Princess. That would be a nice reason for the developers to put them in the game as an Easter Egg.

      I watch a lot of Zelda content, and it does seem that while Breath of the Wild is loved essentially by everyone, the biggest complaint long-time fans have is that it's not very Zelda-ish. It's great in so many ways, but lacks all the immersive lore, deep character building, dungeon theming bits that make the Zelda series unique. Twilight Princess had those things in spades while still offering a relatively big world. More exploration than SS and more heart than BotW, I think there's a reason it ranks well on people's favorites list.

    • @saricubra2867

      @@saricubra2867 I don't fully agree. What it lacks in heart, it mostly makes up for in really polished and fluid gameplay. So, basically after the game is over Zelda asks you to come see her. She knows that Midna wanted to separate the Twilight Realm and Hyrule, but Zelda is worried that it was the wrong decision. She explains that the Mirror was originally made with the powers of various artifacts hidden throughout Hyrule, along with the 7 sages. She doesn’t know where these artifacts are, but she knows that the Royal Family’s secrets used to be kept at the Snowpeak Ruins, and she gives you a key to a door that was always there, but had a special lock that wasn’t able to be unlocked until now. The door leads to the basement of the Snowpeak Ruins, which turns out to be a huge frozen library that was a storage place of all of the Royal Families secrets. There is a lot to do in this Library, but one book (that you have to find) details the process of creating the Twilight Mirror and the whereabouts of the 7 artifacts (one for each past dungeon, but the artifacts aren’t necessarily in each dungeon). The first artifact is in the Library, and is some item that enables the player to find the other 6 artifacts in any order they chose. A big part of this post game is the various species that originally inhabited their dungeons are trying to reclaim them, so now when you return to each dungeon there are ‘people’ there with new story information and new sidequests. There would also be more to do in each village, with more meaningful shops and sidequests. Once you find all seven artifacts, you return to the sages only for them to tell you that they would need the power of the water sage, who was killed, and the only way to create a new mirror is to identify the next water sage. I’m not sure how I would want the exact process to go, but somehow you would have to identify that Queen Rutela is the next water stage. Once you do this you can re-create the Mirror of Twilight, and go to the Twilight Realm. Once you get there Zelda‘s suspicion was right, and the twili are in danger. You do a huge boss fight, and then you are able to have a “true ending” cut scene. Then after this you are able to talk to Midna and access the twilight realm whenever, which has more side quests and shops and stuff.

    Thought it was a neat detail that the OOT fisherman photograph was black and white and the rest are in color. Even if it's minor, it shows a little bit of in-universe technological advancement between OOT and TP.

      They will ruin the game even more than the "remaster" on Wii with more BS like the Miiverse stamps.
      OG Gamecube Twilight Princess will forever be the best and only relevant version of this masterpiece.

    Forgot about some of these, and entirely didn't know about others! Games like these with loads of detail make me hope for a more classic game after botw 2.

    • @ELMQ
      @ELMQ 2 года назад

      There was put far more love to detail and trivia into botw than TP. Those little details contain loads of untold stories, too. Also easter eggs don't depend on a classic Zelda game structure anyways. So I don't know what that means.

    • @CyanicCore
      @CyanicCore 2 года назад

      @@ELMQ A classic style may not necessarily needed for detail, but BOTW focuses more on huge spaces with areas that stand out. An older game like this has smaller areas often filled with interaction and details. Really, I may just be describing differences between their genres, but there IS more per area in games like this.

    Not gonna lie, I played twilight princess sooo much when I was younger that I already knew most if not all of the things covered in this video, I even dare to say that I memorized everything, from the location of the bugs( male and female) to the Poes locations. Years of replaying Twilight princess, my childhood years to be more precise, and looking back, they where years well lived saving Zelda😂 keep up the good job, every video you release unlocks a new memory that I forgot I had since Zelda is my most played franchise, I hope your videos do the same to others and make them remember great moments in their life’s.
    P.S. if you enjoy playing adventure of Link……… you’re crazy😂 till this day, In my opinion , is the hardest Zelda game by far

    I actually knew most of these lol except for the last one where the paintings were of real castles, the first time I played the game I entered but didn’t know anything about real castle since I was just a kid and later on when I replayed the game I just never saw a reason to go back in but that’s really interesting😁

    3:26 You can visit Barnes still restocking his shop before you finish the Goron Mines (as you had blown up his storage shack to get one of the Tears of Light). He will instead angrily slam his shovel down on the floor to trigger the sprinkler in that instance.

    Here's a little bit of trivia (from the Wii version, don't know if this happens in other versions), there's an early sequence where you're stuck as a wolf and following the kids' scent to Kakariko, where you have to warp to Faron to retrieve a missing bridge. You can warp directly to the bridge's location, but you can also go to a couple of other spots in Faron and explore them again. If you go back through the forest area that's covered in mist, you'll encounter a Poe early, before starting the Poe sidequest in Castle Town. If you defeat it however, it won't count towards your total Poes for the sidequest, making it impossible to finish the sidequest.
