Great weapon fighting isn't great for long swords, as you can get the +2 damage that dueling gives you. You could just reflavor it into a broadsword (similarly to what you did for Kylo Ren) and use a greatsword instead. Other than that, this build is great, and, along with Castlevania, is another reason for me to get Netflix.
I dunno, Way of Shadow gets a bunch of magic stuff that really isn't Catra's bag. Way of the Open Hand is what I went for in mine since it's more just based on honing martial arts, though most of her levels were taken by Scout Rogue to max out her mobility and sneak attack damage. I also kinda cheated and just gave her whip proficiency even though neither of her classes have them. Final result was 14Ro/6Mo, though if I had to make it RAW I'd go 14Ro/5Mo/1Fi to get her the weapon proficiency- between giving up Blindsense and Ki-Empowered Strikes, she's shown to have a really good nose that'd help with the former and there's not much evidence of the latter. Also she had the Mobile and Athlete feats to make her agile as heck.
I went Hexblade/Paladin with She-Ra since her powers come from her sword, and Mastermind/Battlemaster for Catra. Mastermind nails her manipulation skills, and Battlemaster gives her infuriating things to do with her whip and claws.
There's so much to like about these videos, from the mechanical advice to roleplay justifications to the jokes about the source material. You even makes jokes about yourself, like the multi-classing fakeout at the end.
"Your brains are connected so you can telepathically communicate with them if you're within one mile, which is nice" It would've been nice if a lot more of Swift Wind's communication in the show was telepathic, too.
I would actually argue that Warforged isn't a useful race for Bionicle characters. They do need to breathe, eat, and sleep, and they wear armor normally rather than integrating it into their body.
For making She-ra, I’d consider putting 3 levels into Hexblade warlock to represent your bond with the Sword of protection (also mage armor and short rest smites).
I’m just gonna say Yugi moto from Yu-Gi-Oh again! Make him a summoning Wizard. His “spellbook” would be a deck of cards, and when he prepares spells for the day, he just changes the cards in his deck! Gotta make him a Kalashtar too though. 😂
Started watching the show after seeing your two videos for it, would look forward to seeing Bow and Glimmer! (Arcane Archer artificer? I never would have thought of that before but I'm curious what you would do with him!)
It's easier to get the Netflix footage. And the characters look different from each other on netflix, no shade, but the original characters were all palette swaps to make the toys cheaper
I think it’s because they may have different abilities and he didn’t want to conflate the two that much. But also I’ve only a few episodes of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” and don’t know that much about the first Adora/She-Ra.
Steven Universe please! Although I'd also love to see a build for the other gems, Pearl would be fun but I'd love to see how you manage Amethyst or Garnet
I was sort of expecting at least one Barbarian level. Reflavoring Rage would be an interesting way to think about transformation, although that would prevent the level cap transformation, which probably makes more sense.
I love these simple builds tbh. It's just nice to have an idea level by level of what you want to get to communicate your theme. Your last two videos including this one have literally been my two favorite classes, so it gives me a lot to go on to try out different stuff in a comfortable class. I hope no one gives you a hard time for this simple "Class 20" builds, because they're just as valid and fun to watch as a crazy four-class build that bounces between classes constantly and exploits weird loopholes to do crazy shit and represent bizarre qualities.
Thank you so much for doing this! I went Scoarge aasjmar, soldier, Paladin of devotion for my new campaign a few weeks ago. He's like she-ra but a Scottish dude that transforms into a warrior princess.

This was a really good build, and I hate to sound annoying, but for future magic girl/boy builds, since this one was a year ago, have the first feat be Eldritch Initiate to get Mask of Many Faces, basically an at-will transformation.
As of Season 5, I'd give Adora three levels of Celestial Warlock with Pact Of The Blade... Sword Of Protection? She-Ra don't need no steenkin' Sword Of Protection! Madam Razz: "She-Ra is not a sword! She-Ra is you!"

Damn, I knew the Oath of Heroism Paladin was good from reading its features, but actually seeing one built takes it to a whole other level 👍🏻 Also, I have long been waiting to see Samurai Jack get a build for the channel, so here’s hoping he gets the win in the poll 👍🏻
I expected a multiclass with Barbarian in this build. It would reduce the number of times you can smite but it would also give you unarmored defense and a couple of rages (which would be in line with the times that Adora lost control due to the virus infecting her sword)
I’d love to see you create a Shadow Weaver or Horde Prime build, I feel the latter especially would be very interesting to explore how a character with his resources and abilities could be translated into D&D
Awesome build although it is not like I ever expect there to be a bad one. Keep up doing what you’re doing and I look forward to what you put out Thursday!
Jack is leading the polls! I'm a happy camper. Also, my headcanon has my lone suggestion of Jack in a video long ago as the catalyst for him making it into the poll. Lol
I know Adora and She Ra are separate stat blocks, but I tried to get them in one build. I ended up with Battlemaster 3 (Adora), Hexblade Warlock 2 (Blade Beams+Power comes from sword), Paladin of Heroism 15 with Str 20, Cha 18, and of course Tavern Brawler. Sword of Protection is a Longsword of Protection from DMG, and I gave her a +3 Breastplate (I gave most of my Masters of the Universe builds breastplates, now that I think about it.)
I'm not sure if I caught all the details, but I think the sword needs to grant 'She-Ra' the effects of *Divine Power* at least two or three times a day (with a special side effect of making her taller and more buff while in effect). At 20th level, her base attack becomes +20, her Strength gains a 6-point Enchantment Bonus, and she gains 20 temporary Hit Points. It would last for 20 rounds (and I don't believe concentration is required).
Making a guess for what a Steven Universe build would be: Earth Genasi (Gems seem like some kind of earth elemental. Aasimar could work, but I don't think Pink is very divine.) Class is tougher - paladin seems pretty on brand, but leaning more into spellcasting to do bubble stuff would be good, so maybe sorcerer or bard? If you want to go crazy with it, Pink Mode could be a barbarian's rage. His top stats are charisma and constitution, probably dumping intelligence since he's not terribly book smart.

She ra is one of my favorite shows and this was an amazing video. Also Catradora was definitely a thing in the past but i doubt it will be a thing again
My top 5 HeMan & SheRa requests- Evil Lyn- Shadow Warlock with lots of Evil related puns. Huntara- Barbarian/Ranger multiclass. Scorpia- Fighter, Barbarian, or Monk? You decide. ManAtArms- Fighter with a dash of Artificer. Orko- Chaos Sorcerer for the win!
This is great, my friends and I have been playing Curse of Strahd and I was thinking using Adora but went to Catra instead (i like her more) but now i have a second character in case ctra dies. Thank You Why not doing Catra? Is a cool character idea.
Now you got to do He-man, Lion-O, Skeletor, and Mum-Ra oh and sticking with the 80's theme Shredder, and GI Joe as well as other ninja turtle characters
8th & 12th lvl: you're charisma is a little low, but strength is more importanat 16th lvl: remember all those things charisma does, don't you think you should invest into it already? I would have at 12th lvl if you let me!
I wonder how Percy from the Lightning thief series would be, and adept fighter/water elementalist that can also summon a Pegasus to his side? Sounds pretty cool
Hey Tulok! Have you ever heard of Warhammer 40k? It's a tabletop wargame with an awesome setting, lore and characters. If you could make a build of Chapter Master Dante of the Blood Angel's, that would be absolutely AMAZING! If not, that's ok, I still love you and your work. :) ❤😊✌ Peace!
Thank you for using the oath of heroism! I wasn't sure which one to use for my game club campaign's npc builds. So this helps! I'd also say that either of the two characters would be good. Minus Stephen/Steven? Universe. Ben 10 is my pic, since I would imagine a druid build here and would love to see more.
When I saw She-Ra I thought Redemption Paladin with 3 levels of Hexblade. But going for the transformation is sure better. Another great video. ... Or it would have been, if your completely undemocratic poll hadn't excluded Scorpia, the clearly superior character in the whole series...
Honestly redemption would have been better story wise. Because adora redeems herself from the horde and becomes she-ra. And just because I would've slapped some zeal berserker in here just for more consistent damage and rage. And because you can smite during a rage which is great.
Super Saiyan form? My oh my, now all we need is a Goku build to decimate those that follow the Piccolo guide in order to convert him from Evil to Lawful Dad and we'll be set.
Is there a Race that basically does body swapping stuff? The closest I can think of is Revenant, which can take over a dead body if their own is destroyed, but they are pretty story specific.
@@josephperez2004 for Orochimaru maybe he could be a Yuan Ti pureblood. His body swapping could be supplemented by "Magic Jar" spell. For Greed/Ling Yao revenant would be awesome, but if someone doesn't want a story specific character maybe a human (just for Ling). He would probably be a Monk (Kensei to add AC for using unarmed strike while holding a weapon, kinda like Greed using Ultimate Shield.) Thanks for the reply.
I remember hearing some broken character combo in 3.5 that worked like this only once a day: 1) reroll 1s on a damage die. 2) reroll and add your damage die if you roll max damage. 3) Punches are a d2. So logically speaking, it was a infinity-damage punch. I think you could only do it once a day somehow.
unrelated to the content of the video, the animation of this new show if flipping BEAUTIFUL. So much better than the half-assery that was the long-form toy commercial I grew up with. I hope my daughter likes this show when she's old enough to watch it (so I can watch it with her).
FINALLY. I feel like I'm in Wonderland with all these people saying the old version looks better. They're literally palette swaps to make mass production of toys easier. Thank you
Also I must have not been paying attention because I was cooking lunch while watching this video, but in the cons you listed the Tavern Brawler feat as a weakness (RIP cause I love it but you right) and I was like "wait, this build has Tavern Brawler? Why?"
Episode 123 of the Fire Emblem stats: Adora. She-Ra has a bunch of things going for her. She's great at faith (for both energy beams and healing), riding, flight (Silver Wind), swords, and authority (as the leader of the rebellion). She has no weaknesses either since her sword can transform into any weapon. Her stats are all rather high, especially her attacking stats.
Turlok: "Cats hate you, even if there also kinda in love with you"

Posting this in every video until he makes itç
We need a Turok build from Tulok
"sees samurai jack in next character poll" not a character i wanted to see in the poll but a nice option
I would like to see some League of Legends builds like:
Ryze, Zed, Kayle, Annie, Morgana and Leona
I read the list of names before the rest of the comment so i thought you were suggesting Lord Zedd from power rangers
She ra is one of my favorite shows and this was an amazing video. Also Catradora was definitely a thing in the past but i doubt it will be a thing again
How’s that looking these days?
@@raulvalencia8573 happy to be proven wrong
Me: Looks in poll
Tulok: Stephen Universe
My top 5 HeMan & SheRa requests-
Evil Lyn- Shadow Warlock with lots of Evil related puns.
Thank You
Why not doing Catra? Is a cool character idea.
I'm guessing basically Tabaxi Rogue? I honestly haven't watched the show, but what scenes i have seen seem to support that.
Joseph Perez
I actually made her multiclass, right im lvl 5 so:
3 Ranger/1 sorcer/1 rogue
@@cyra3906 Hmm, neat. I worry a bit on the split casting ability but still possible to work well.
Tabaxi mastermind rogue.
Please do a build for Baraka from Mortal Kombat.
Also, Mr. Universe's first name is spelled 'Steven'.
Whoops
I thought "Mr. Universe" was Greg
@@wolfmantheimpaler I was referring to the younger one.
Now you got to do He-man, Lion-O, Skeletor, and Mum-Ra oh and sticking with the 80's theme Shredder, and GI Joe as well as other ninja turtle characters
8th & 12th lvl: you're charisma is a little low, but strength is more importanat
16th lvl: remember all those things charisma does, don't you think you should invest into it already?
I would have at 12th lvl if you let me!
Lol, shift them where you want, I just know everybody wants to hit hard
well dang now I kinda want to give this show a shot now that i've seen all this footage
I'd love to see an attempt at making a bioshock character
1:37 OMG THE SHADE
I wonder how Percy from the Lightning thief series would be, and adept fighter/water elementalist that can also summon a Pegasus to his side? Sounds pretty cool
Hey Tulok! Have you ever heard of Warhammer 40k? It's a tabletop wargame with an awesome setting, lore and characters. If you could make a build of Chapter Master Dante of the Blood Angel's, that would be absolutely AMAZING! If not, that's ok, I still love you and your work. :) ❤😊✌ Peace!
Have you considered an Anderson Cooper build? I think that'd be pretty cool.
Maybe. Not Ben Shapiro? We could use some more villains on the channel
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 I don't think he needs anymore of a platform though
Uncle Iroh pls
Aang soon, Iroh soon ish probably
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 That works for me.
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 lol I wrote the comment before finishing the video. Very bendy boy.
Honestly redemption would have been better story wise. Because adora redeems herself from the horde and becomes she-ra.
And just because I would've slapped some zeal berserker in here just for more consistent damage and rage. And because you can smite during a rage which is great.
True... that might work for a new Kylo Ren actually
Glimmer anyone? I really want Glimmer in D&D!
Super Saiyan form? My oh my, now all we need is a Goku build to decimate those that follow the Piccolo guide in order to convert him from Evil to Lawful Dad and we'll be set.
Would love to see a "Greed/Ling Yao" build from FMA Brotherhood. "Orochimaru" would be nice too. Love the vids by the way!
Is It possible to build a char like Saitama? I mean, how much is the maximum damage by an unarmed attack?
20 levels of open hand Monk ez cuz their final ability can COMPLETELY ONE SHOT YOUR OPPONENT. aka serious punch. Varient human tough feat
Sorry, who?
I remember hearing some broken character combo in 3.5 that worked like this only once a day:
1) reroll 1s on a damage die.
2) reroll and add your damage die if you roll max damage.
3) Punches are a d2.
So logically speaking, it was a infinity-damage punch. I think you could only do it once a day somehow.
One Punch mans main Character Tulok, his superpower is exactly the shows name, he kills everything in one punch
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 you may know him as "caped baldy".
I’m excited to use this build, it looks so fun
unrelated to the content of the video, the animation of this new show if flipping BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you
Agree to disagree.
Gotta get back,
Back to the past,
THATS THE POWER OF LOVE
Also I must have not been paying attention because I was cooking lunch while watching this video, but in the cons you listed the Tavern Brawler feat as a weakness (RIP cause I love it but you right) and I was like "wait, this build has Tavern Brawler? Why?"
Still waiting on those FE: 3 Houses builds, but presently I'm more curious on what'll be done for Ben 10 if he wins the poll
