I actually playtested this build all the way to Level 11 (by that point, the character I was playing had split off from Zuko so I remade him as a Paladin). It's a very fun build.
IMO Control Flames and prestidigitation > Light and Dancing lights. Prestidigitation lets you warm things up, and light small fires, like candles, torch, or a small campfire. (i'd rule that a fire started by prestidigitation is non-magical personally) control flames lets you do some minor fire bending tricks like shaping fire. take one instead of light and grab the other as you level up, cause although you would think control flames would let you have a small floating fire in your hand it does NOT (at least that's what I thought it did....) so dancing lights could actually prove useful. good flavor abilities if you wanna do little stuff with fire bending outside of battle :)
Changelings are shapechangers, so they are unaffected by Polymorph. Additionally, post erratum, Changelings have a +2 to Charisma and a +1 to a different ability score. Meaning that you cannot have a +3 to Charisma as a Changeling anymore.
Y'know.... I was just looking for a zuko build the other day. I feel he is much more magic (firebending) than martial. And I honestly would've probably gone rogue instead of fighter (we see him sneak around, infiltrate multiple fire navy ships, a prison, a firenation base....) but I really appreciate the build!
Sokka, could be an interesting build. Weapons; Club, Sword, Boomerang, he also known for a degree of techical skills, plus he likely to have some bard levels, given his penchant for jokes, stratagem, communications and disguises including but not limited to "Wang Fire".
Thank you again Tulok for the amazing video, as always. We love and support you, no matter what happens. P.S: I don't know if it's too much asked, but I think a Hiccup/Toothless build would be quite cool!
maybe instead of light, using control flames since that might be a more in character way to create a light source from the flames you emit. Plus he's a sneaky guy, could of used maybe a few levels of rogue, specifically up to the swashbucker so you can use blades like sims to proc sneak attack and also move away for free for extra nimbleness. Plus could argue that Zuko up till near the end of the series wears either thick leather like studded leather or something in the medium armour range like scale mail (although not ideal for stealth since disadvantage on stealth checks) so maybe hide armor
I have to admit, Battlemaster instead of Eldritch Knight caught me by surprise. Thinking about it though, Zuko doesn't need more firepower, he needs to remember his basics. So it's good he knows how to break his opponent's roots.
I actually was trying to figure this out myself and was thinking Kensai Monk (or Four Elements) / Sun Cleric... which now mentioning the reasons for low wisdom...makes sense. Dammit!

@@nicolasvillasecaali7662 I agree, we just need a few levels in rogue to make this absolutely perfect, but as is it's super close.
I can't tell if this is a pun or not, because of the red T in the thumbnail
@@grantbaugh2773 it is.
But why is the T there?
T because of Iroh I believe.
(i'd rule that a fire started by prestidigitation is non-magical personally)
control flames lets you do some minor fire bending tricks like shaping fire.
take one instead of light and grab the other as you level up, cause although you would think control flames would let you have a small floating fire in your hand it does NOT (at least that's what I thought it did....) so dancing lights could actually prove useful.
good flavor abilities if you wanna do little stuff with fire bending outside of battle :)
Woah! Nice Cinder build!
Changelings are shapechangers, so they are unaffected by Polymorph. Additionally, post erratum, Changelings have a +2 to Charisma and a +1 to a different ability score. Meaning that you cannot have a +3 to Charisma as a Changeling anymore.
We definitely need an Uncle Iroh build.
Y'know.... I was just looking for a zuko build the other day. I feel he is much more magic (firebending) than martial. And I honestly would've probably gone rogue instead of fighter (we see him sneak around, infiltrate multiple fire navy ships, a prison, a firenation base....) but I really appreciate the build!
I have nothing to say, but this pleases the algorithm
I think the Iron Giant would be a great idea. Warforged barbarian with a bit of destructive spellcasting thrown in.
Sokka, could be an interesting build. Weapons; Club, Sword, Boomerang, he also known for a degree of techical skills, plus he likely to have some bard levels, given his penchant for jokes, stratagem, communications and disguises including but not limited to "Wang Fire".
I just can't wait till you do Uncle Iroh; Dragon of the West.
Second video asking for a Darksiders build. Please and thank you, love the content!
Almost at episode 200. I'm curious what will come out next.
That Star wars rise of Skywalker call out on point! Too fire! Lol
I actually was trying to figure this out myself and was thinking Kensai Monk (or Four Elements) / Sun Cleric... which now mentioning the reasons for low wisdom...makes sense. Dammit!
As a lifelong Team Zutara, Zu-everyone is also best ship. Ship wars are dumb, everyone in one giant love pile, tbh.
Only one I absolutely hate is Zucest
Boston _ Fair, so long as you’re exercising the use of blacklisting tools to avoid it and leaving any fans who do like it alone. No harassment of fellow AtLA fans in this house!
Caterfree10 oh yeah I don’t care enough about the ships to harass anyone about it
How excited are you that the class feature varients are going to be in the new Tasha book so you can finally use them without worrying about the UA thing?
Pretty close to what I did when I made Zu-zu. I gave more sorcerer levels and used the Pyromancer subclass instead of draconic, but both work well. All in all, good fun. I do wonder though, could you make Hama the bloodbender (or Amon) in 5e well? That'd be really interesting.
I am praying on my knees for sokka.
Battlemaster fighter, done
@@youngoptimus14 ill do you one better, champion fighter
@@BenDover-dk2sp I'll do you one better, Battlesmith Artificer for a MechaMomo.
@@BenDover-dk2sp sokka isn't that simple lol his whole thing is making plans and until we get a tatical class or subclass hard to replicate that in game wise
Boomerang...?
Sub optimal it may be, this is still a really cool alternative to Eldritch Knight for a hybrid melee spellcaster. My biggest gripe with EK is that you lose the Battlemaster maneuvers, which are a big part of being a skilled swordfighter imo
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A FIREBENDER FOR SO LONG!
I'm hoping when the spooky season coming we'll get to see a character build for Hannibal Lector or one of the other horror icons i know most people would have a basic idea of how to build them but my man tulok is unmatched when it comes to even the finer details
A Kakyoin build would be pretty cool if possible. Range, limited flight, possession, and shooting emerald / stone like projectiles would be awesome. Also tripwires possibly
Tulok should make a Turok build
Around 12:40 he talks about Zuko having to earn his redemption and not dying or just showing up. He talks about a show doing that near the end of the series, is this a reference to Korra? I haven't seen it but the way he talks about it, it as to be connected to something, right?
It's about Kylo Ren
Sending love, Tulok, you’re worth it
It bother's me more than it should that you couldn't get Stealth proficiency, but you gotta prioritize, I get it.
I'm so excited Finally have the build I was looking for.
A few ideas either yami marik to bring the tourture (and maybe an Egyptian phoenix) or any of the seven deadly sins or ten commandments from the seven deadly sins. I reckon that having a character stick to one of the commandments and also forcing other to stick to it would be interesting as a concept.
I did 12 levels rogue(thief) and 8 levels draconic bloodline sorcerer. Because he is really good at breaking in or out of places(infiltration)
Quickened Spell would be a great metamagic option. Cast a fire spell as a bonus action and still get all your extra attacks
@@rhiarose9436 or quicken spell fireball, attack, action surge, attack again lol
I'd love to see you make a video about how to play anti-venom in D&D, I know you've done venom before but there are some key differences that I'd love to see how you'd handle
I always appreciate an ATLA build
Best use of intro song ever.
Is there significance in the T of "To" in the thumbnail also being red? Best I can come up with is Uncle Iroh's tea but that's a stretch.
12:38 I couldn't quite catch, what is he throwing shade at here?
also unsure myself, newer star wars maybe?
Kylo Ren's god awful and unearned redemption
@@biohazard724 It was earned, and he should have lived.
@@molliethomas2585 It wasn't and Rey should have run him through.
@@biohazard724 As a Reylo I have to disagree. But we're all entitled to our opinions.
I built an Azula build as a Fire Genasi Mastermind Rogue 9/Bronze Draconic Ancestry Sorcerer 11 with the Elemental Adept, Actor and War Caster feats. I managed to get all the abilities she showed in the show and character appropriate 8 Wisdom, but used expertise to shore up her Insight and Perception skills.
Variant human would be stronger and more accurate
@@AscalonDrake That's fair, I could get the same spells with the Magic Initiate feat. Thanks for the tip! I still might play the genasi version because it's cool though.
@@nicholasdriskell6540 You mean the custom lineage one?
