Neither a Jags or Broncos fan here. But the fact that the Jacksonville/Denver AFC Divisional Round game isn’t on this list is an absolute outrage. Blasphemous.
The Broncos were 13-3 in the 1996 season & borderline unstoppable at Mile High.
The Jags were a 2nd year team who only made the playoffs because of a missed Morten Anderson FG in the final game of the regular season. They were called the “Jagwads” by the Denver media.
This was the most shocking & colossal upset in NFL history up to that point since Super Bowl III. Hell it was even featured in ‘NFL Films Top 10 Upsets’ video

As a Cardinal fan, this was a heartbreaking loss. Not only did the upstart Cards dominate the then 5-0 Bears the entire game with Matt Leinart actually looking like an NFL QB, this game is also a glaring example of what happens when a coach coaches not to lose. As you said, the Cards led 20-0 at the half and in the 2nd half Green put the ball in his pocket and kept on slamming Edgerrin James up the middle.
