Lawrence Taylor just said "ok we really need a turnover so im just gonna go ahead and shake my blocker into the backfield and rip the ball out his hands." "Ok so keep your head out for a fumble then?" "Probably easier if i just rip it out and keep it."
The ice bowl gives me physical pain just watching it. They didn't have fabrics that held heat like now. Those uniforms were not made to keep you warm. Even under they wore what amounted to cheap cotton long johns that were as thin as possible to retain as much range of motion as possible. That wasnt grass, that was frozen ice spikes sticking up like nails on ground that is as hard as a frozen pond, but even worse because the texture scraped you, not just on bare skin, but every part of your body that touched it. With those clothes, -14 F would legit feel like you were standing naked in 5/10 degrees. Except your hands, they felt every drop of -14. Id be suprised if half a cup of blood pumped through each hand during the entire game. They didn't even feel apart of your body. Was like stalingrad for half a day.

@@shauncameron8390 Josh just needs his team to have their starters to have a chance. He almost won vs the chiefs with a bunch of 4th stringers on defense and a WASHED von miller.
The brady mahomes game was class. Arguably the greatest win in patriots history when you consider how good the chiefs are now. I do respect the chiefs mahomes is class. Brady for me was special though. I don't care about the goat thing.
The Giants-Niners game is one of the greatest games of all time. The game is on youtube. from beginning to end, both teams were killing each other. The drama of the potential 3peat, Hos as back up QB, Giants defense was #1 in PA and #2 in yards allowed. The Niners defense was ranked #2 in PA and #3 in yards allowed and the offense was #2 in Yards. Was really Montana's last game as a Niner even though he played 1 game in 1992.
great video
Good when nfl throwback post
Minnesota still hasn't recovered from that since the kicker Gary Anderson missed that kick to the left from going to the super bowl in 1998 year 1:50
Lol. We still haven't recovered from the 09 Championship game. Getting our butts kicked by the Eagles in the Championship game doesn't help either....
@@greencm7142Vikings to their credit have made at least one conference championship game in every decade of their existence (save for the current one so far).
Yeah 98 and 09 were unfortunate ways to lose, and so was 1987 (dropped pass on the goal line).
@@fortynights151398 was fucking brutal. I am adamant that the 98 Vikings are the best team to never reach a Super Bowl and there is no close second.
@@thekrampusclaus4148In that regard there is certainly no close second
@@fortynights1513 the Falcons were double digit underdogs that game. Imagine a 14-2 team being double digit underdogs to a 15-1 team. The Vikings are hexed. Simple.
I'm loving these compilations - keep 'em coming! 👍
That Colts comeback vs the Patriots in 2006 won me a lap dance 😂. I cashed in on that two weeks later during the Super Bowl.
2022 bengals vs cheifs bengals go to the Super Bowl for the first time in 30 years down great comeback how is that not in here
I was thinking this the whole time that game was amazing I was so happy burrow won that hopefully he’s healthy next year
That was the 2021 game, and I would have their game the next season higher
Cowboys Vs. Niners 1981 NFC Championship Game was the greatest!
49ers vs Cowboys 1982 is the greatest.
Ik y’all seen KaepernicK throw that td 3:14
Lmao he used to be doing that daily but no one cared
If I’m not counting my team, Niners vs hawks in 13 is the best conference title game I’ve ever seen
Washington vs Minnesota in 87 is underrated
No knock on Washington’s great second quarter in Super Bowl 22, but 1987 was one of those years where both conference championships felt more competitive than the Super Bowl.
And 87 NFC went to the goal line at the end
Low scoring, but Bills-Broncos in 1991 deserves mention.
A backup quarterback nearly led a comeback at the end.
2008 afc championship is the most physical game I’ve ever seen
Those Broncos AFC championship games in the late 80's was epic.I remember we lived I'm a suburb of Dallas called Wylie,Tx and started school there as a kindergartener. We were Cowboys fans but they didn't do well in the 1986 and 1987 seasons. So the playoffs start in 1987 and watching those games on an old TV them wooden ones that are placed in the floor.Anyways I remember that 87 AFC championship game the Broncos were remarkable I thought the Browns were going to win would of been nice if the Cleveland Browns got thier first super bowl birth im storied history.Denver and Cleveland were my favorite teams back then when I started to like football.I was 5 or 6 years old but I remember it clearly by 8 years old I started playing football all contact in a pee wee league😂.I will always love the NFL 🏈
That FG in the 86 game was clearly no good.
You are a legend for this channel. If you see this … thank you 💪
Ugh can you imagine if that chiefs player wasn’t offsides and that penalty against the rams was called. We would have a Saints vs Chiefs Super Bowl.
Yeah imagine if Drew Brees didn’t throw that int in overtime
If dee ford wasn’t offsides brady wouldn’t have thrown that pick cuz that was the only way he was able to get pressure so quickly by being offsides
NFL throwback the goats
To this day.... Erin has never talked about Sherm... 😂
I wish that the NBA, NHL & MLB also have their Throwback channels as well!!!
Are you kidding me in 2021 the Cincinnati Bengals went into KC as big underdogs then went down 21-3 early and then came back to win the AFC championship 27-24 and that doesn't even get an honorable mention. Like why leave it out? Only Brady's Pats have beaten Mahomes in KC in the playoffs until Burrow and the Bengals did in 21 but I guess no ones remembers that
2007 nfc championship was favorite game
this is the best weekend in football
Bengals vs chiefs 2021 should be here
Every franchise's all time team please
2021 AFC championship game doesn't even get an honorable mention? The greatest comeback in championship game history. ON THE ROAD IN ARROWHEAD!!!! 21-3 !!! Go ahead and show Peytons home comeback instead tho. Wow.
Great video
Amazing Video 📸 NFL Throwback
2008 afc championships game as a honorable mention is crazy
The NFC championship game from that year was a much better game to watch. AFC one was a slog even though it was close
@@AwesometraxI would disagree. The afc game was better that year
The 49ers have been in 19 conference games. The most by any team - the next closest being Pittsburg with 16. They could have their own top 10 list - 1970, 1981, 1983, 1990, 1992, 1994, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2021, 2023 - all of which were great games with climatic finishes.
Not having Bengals Chiefs from 2021 in at least honorable mentions is crazy
Lawrence Taylor just said "ok we really need a turnover so im just gonna go ahead and shake my blocker into the backfield and rip the ball out his hands."
"Ok so keep your head out for a fumble then?"
"Probably easier if i just rip it out and keep it."
Nose tackle Erik Howard forced the fumble and L.T. recovered it.
I think we all knew #1 would be The Catch
Vikings vs Saints 2009, 2 teams that were head and shoulders above every other nfl team that year
Saints and colts were head and shoulders above everyone else Vikings was 3rd 🤷♂️
The Saints-Rams game should get a mention, but I’m not sure if “honourable” should be in the same sentence.
The bad calls obviously gave the game to LA, but you gotta admit, the game was close.
Both conference championships were better than the Super Bowl that followed I’d say
How was Pats Chiefs in 2018 not the game that changed overtime rules for the playoffs
This round has an interesting history to it. Glad to see a top 10 for it!
This list should be the niners top 10 champion games. Because you guys ride my teams nuts so hard
just shows how iconic and great that franchise is , GO NINERSSSS!!!
@@leonardoibanez4913
And how impactful Bill Walsh, Joe Montana and Jerry Rice were.
We’ve been to 18 and about to be 19 now!
Lions niners jumping into the list
Really good game
i remember that colts steelers afc championship like it was yesterday. i was broken hearted by the stupid pass to barry foster that was knocked down on 4 & 3 against san diego.
Do you know how torturous 1986 and 87 are for browns Dana my god
Did everybody forget Bengals Chiefs 2022???
When someone says you cannot hear a picture
