@@rhabenic Don't be obtuse. Past tense is employed here, because I am quite obviously referring to how he raised his daughter in her youth. The focus of the statement is the past, rather than the present. That's not to say he is no longer a good father. That much should be obvious, unless you're assuming I have some reason to insult the man. It was (and is) a "was (and is)", statement rather than a "was (but is no longer)" statement.
Consider this. "Obama was the 44th president of the United States." He STILL IS the 44th president. Nobody else will ever be the 44th president. He will never not be the 44th president. But we use past tense anyway, because we are referring to a specific period which is now in the past. The was is more relevant than the is.
Dont forget to speak like her father.

The PING was the only sound of the M1 Garand the soldier dont want to hear in battle.

You can have gun in germany?how about carrying it for self defence?is it possible in germany too?
@@adambroz3047 You can carry it on your own property. In public it's only allowed with a special lizence that is extremly rare and hard to get. Usually only people working as bodyguard or security might get them for working purpose. Even soldiers are not allowed to carry guns when not working. Only policeman are allowed to carry, because they are kind of always on duty, but even for them it's rather uncommon to do so.

Seems the Czech republic is thinking much higher of their own people since gun laws are much similar to the US regarding concealed carry permits.
Going to the range with my daughter who's all grown up now and living far away is always fun when we are together. It's fun to see Jerry and Lena just goof off. Good times. There certainly is more than just a passing resemblance between those two.

Indeed it is nice to see that safety does not take a back seat! Also I was always taught to refer to them as firearms instead of weapons. They only become a weapon when used for harming others. Just like a baseball batt or a knife.
@@DanielSmith-uy3yg sadly the tacticool people want to be operators with their "weapons". Makes us normal people who just want to shoot and have fun or defend ourselves look bad.
When Jerry picked up the Red Rider I was instantly transported back in time. The sun was shinning the pine trees were loaded with pine cones and life was a beautiful dream. I was lucky to have nature as my playground and my Red Ryder might as well been a 50 cal for I was young enough to believe I could take on any monsters, I was 10 and had a vivid imagination. But my eyes were good enough to see the bb's trajectory and I don't care how good your eyes are you will not see a 50 cal leave the barrel unless its night time and you shot a tracer.

I’ve got about three guns that are due for a cleaning and I thought about shooting the other day but didn’t get to since I’m building on to my house, but I would have gotten a forth gun dirty had I got to shoot it.

These are the celebrities I like to watch on Quarantine
Fine collection! When I did HVAC, this elderly guy had the most beautiful collection of guns I've ever seen in person. Mostly 1911's and old revolvers with a few lever action rifles. They lined all four walls of the room from the ceiling to about 3/4 the way down. I guess he had a lot more but they had been stolen. My heart sank as if they were my own.
Are you talking about an older man kinda south Central Indiana. Theres this weirdly coincidental feeling. I knew this guy who had floor to ceiling hand built gun cabinets, had around 50 or 75 guns stolen, had the best collection around. Just thought id ask.

Fun. I’d like a closer look at the “space gun”. Why did you do the grip that way?
Not sure of the model shown in this video.
But the weapon that is considered to be used in the JFK assassination,(by a man named James Flies-who supposedly is the man who actually killed JFK-) is a Remington Fireball chambered in .222. It’s very similar to this weapon.
That was the coolest thing I have every seen! Such an assortment of firearms on a long table!
What was that "space" gun? Looked horrible to shoot.
Not sure what that critter was but Remington used to make a single shot bolt action handgun called the XP 100.
