This is a GREAT video because FMJ practice rounds are @ 20¢ apiece as it is at this time of posting, and because of the current climate of hoarding ammo (guilty as charged!), it is VERY hard to find locally in most places in the US right now. Massive kudos to Lena for helping us maximize our time and limiting our expense at the range! All I was disappointed in was that she never said what kind of pizza she and her dad ordered before they filmed this segment...
Like her parents shes a student and constantly looking to improve. Just a guess but that off hand grip may get the bore axis a little lower to make for even less muzzle rise.

5 shots - 2 sets - start gun in holster - 3 different targets (target acquisition)
2 shots - 3 sets - start low-ready - reload between each shot (refine reloading habits)
2 shots - 1 set - start low-ready - 1 round in 2 mags, racking the reload (gun handling)

I can't wait to get to the range to try the drills. Thank you Lena! Ü
I love your family. Thank you for giving us all lessons to train with that will make us become better, safer, wiser, accurate, and knowledgeable with firearms. Everyone.... eyes, ears, shooter ready?........ (Beep) GET SOME!!!
Two words - Re load....oh wait.
Jim, indeed.
Man, I'd love to find some 20 cent FMJ rounds now!
In b4 all the internet commandos shrieking about the grip of a shooter a million times better and more practiced than them.
Kevin Sanderson lol exactly whatever works
yeah i noticed but she's a Miculek so I figured I'd keep my mouth shut.
@@IMHendle1 You just have to find what works for you and that's not always gonna be whatever is currently in vogue.
That is a weird grip, but putting a finger on the trigger guard helps mitigate recoil. 2 fingers is doublely less recoil.
Like her parents shes a student and constantly looking to improve. Just a guess but that off hand grip may get the bore axis a little lower to make for even less muzzle rise.
You know... although I don't have a problem living in a country with gun control laws... there are also times when i do envy the US... this is one of those moments...
My indoor range didn't like when I hung up a greasy pizza box. When I said I learned it from Lena Miculek, they backed off.
My wife and co workers tell be about being around a deaf person: growed up on a farm with straight pipe tractors and 8+ years on tanks in the Army....WHat's THat you say?
Good tips and drill. Will be doing it next time on the range....
Huh?
I love the whole "Nah, I'm not working with the timer, let's have fun" attitude.
A lesson for bad guys... Don't break into anyone's home with the last name Miculek. Great video.
I want to THANK YOU Lena. You girl are a handgun rock and roll star..... Your basic drill and pistol manipulation is flawless. Probably a result of your zillion hours of practice over the years....
Very nice, Lena. I enjoyed your video.
She is very gifted at explaining things. This is the second video I have seen with her and you guys need to do more of these.
I love how excited you are when talking about your sport. Wish I could shoot as good as you!
As a novice shooter this was exactly what I needed , A practice plan. Thank you
This a good solid training workout with a low number of rounds.
I like using .22 caliber pistol to warm up with.
After that I usually switch to something larger for another set of drills.
This way I am warmed up when my ammo costs more.
It was fun watching this video, and not knowing who this young gal is. Just thought she was a random. very well-experienced shooter. Now it all makes sense. Wish she lived in my area, AND gave lessons.
Looks exactly like her father the resemblance is uncanny.
This was great! Thank you. Always good to have a plan when hitting the range, especially on a limited budget. Tons of info. Looking forward to trying these drills out.
"Practice for Proficiency, Not Perfection."
Great personality, charisma, presentation and teaching skills. Look forward to new videos. A+
Doesnt know what to do with her hands, B+
This is one of the most productive and useful lessons I've ever seen. Every shooter should review these drills. Excellent presentation, now a wasted minute, or round fired!
I don’t shoot at public ranges especially where people are drawing from a holster or off a table. She’s at home but I don’t want to be near anyone who’s doing this.
she's so nice it's so pleasant to hear her talking, i'd love to grow up having her as my friend teaching me how to use guns properly and stuff
"American Wooooman"
... says the fearful French
She's about the luckiest person alive to have the parents she does.
Rumor has it Kay and Lena are the better shots ;)
I would marry her but I have to keep my Glock Bloodline pure. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Thank you Lena, you are awesome. Outstanding instructor, I just love your videos. And I’m already an accomplished shooter. I Highly recommend you.
Great video. Really focusing on the fundamentals of shooting. Personally I have shot more rounds than I care to remember. But even I know you can always learn more, and it never hurts to go over what you already know. Again great video
I feel like someone just copy and pasted jerry into a younger female body
I went to my first first three gun match as a spectator to watch Jerry. I went to the next one to watch Lena and Jerry (oh, and a few other fine shooters, lol). The young lady is pretty impressive. I hope she does more videos. She's a natural.
I love that she is a mini Miculek. My heart smiles
Shorten that to "Miniculek"!
I have watched a couple of her videos and she is a good teacher. I have learned some things that will help me.
