    I always shoot in Pro mode
    - you can use different viewing angles: qction, wide, linear (wide)
    - you can use horizon lock in linear
    - you can reframe a bit in post.
    Great little camera for first person perspective.

    Great review of tips and true get a great image BUT the most frustrating thing with the Insta360 Go 2 is it has the WORST BATTERY LIFE ever 😡.
    You mention you set your PRO video on 10 mins. I don't do this as want longer clips but the life of the battery is terrible and is NOTHING like Insta360 advertises. I have also spent a lot of money on accessories - it does great for VERY SHORT under 1 or 2 minute nature or action shots but for anything travel related (car/scooter/motorbike) it is just too frustrating. I have had mine for a long time and have tried it in many situations and always the same frustration. Even my friends get frustrated with the poor performance of the battery and they are trying to get me to replace it with something else. Keep up the great tips on your channel.

      @NickKendall  Год назад +1

      Dang that is really frustrating! Outside of the charge case I get around 20 minutes which you're right is good for shorter clips but not so good for extended recordings.

      @Nick Kendall my first time exploring with it was in a park in the Philippines, I shot 8 10-60 second clips - was amazing quality using many of the techniques/tricks shown on RUclips. Very impressive. But bought many accessories and using in car on road trip was terrible. Kept pulling over and recharging also when had attached to hood of car on Timelapse cannot view on cellphone.
      Tried on scooter tour last Friday mountains, waterfalls, hot springs, breakfast stop, back down to beach and only got partial shots of everything.
      Tried yesterday on scooter, March 14, beach side airport to a nice apartment that would be great for Foreigners and battery died part way there BUT got a great clip going through a Military Checkpoint using the magnetic chest medallion as it isn't s an obtrusive piece of equipment. Amping - take care. Greg
      PS: not giving up yet, today I ordered 2x 3300mah c-type mini batteries to clip into the travel attachment they sell. They always say don't use Ctype chords use the attachment that came with your device, but it's about 4 inches long and not conducive for using with the external USB Power attachment (outside if the original case) they sell. These small batteries with c-type connection offer 1.5 hours life, if the 2 I bought deliver that time combined I will be happy and not toss out the Insta360 Go 2. Fingers crossed 🤞

    After downloading to your phone, and deleting the data from the Go 2, is it possible to offload the data/files from your phone to a MacBook?

    • @NickKendall
      @NickKendall  Год назад

      Yeah, you can offload the files the same way you would with any videos you might take on your phone camera. However the files downloaded via your phone may not be as high quality as if you used the desktop app.

    Great tips. Question about the official LUT: I downloaded the zip file from the website, but which one do you use for the Go 2? It offers One-R, One-RS, One-x2, One-x, and Sphere.

    • @NickKendall

    I do not recommend it. The android app works worse every time they update it, before you could zoom in and out. When you ask questions they don't answer you or they delete your comments. The crack in the case will eventually come out like everyone else. The program for Windows they update it and it remains the same without any improvement. It's a waste of money.

    • @hypedunks3334
      @hypedunks3334 Месяц назад

      Yes there are a lot of bad sides of this camera... it Overheats a lot, the app takes so long to upload videos... memory is also so limited that I prefer to consider this camera as a toy... not an Action Camera. Also the battery doesn't last more than 15min on Pro mode.
