Really appreciate it, but somehow I cannot edit Go3 videos like you do and the customer support people say that insta 360 studio can only reframe the 360 cameras... Also my view of the editing suite differs from your video or their tutorials... I'm on 5.2.2 and clearly not even able to turn the video 360 flip in transitions while doing the project. It all feels like we have two different programmes :) :) :) do you have any tips on how to resolve it, please? Many thanks
Trying to get my head round what Freeframe actually is… Seems like the footage is cropped slightly allowing for post adjustments. Rest is just a marketing term meaning there is no processing that takes place on the camera, meaning any changes are made in the or an editing app after. Or am I missing something?
free frame captures the entire sensor, which in the case of the GO 3 is square in shape, not rectangular. you can then output 16:9, 9:16 or square images and even more creatively move your image dynamically within the square as you output normal 16:9 video. basically there is always more there that you can see in the output, which gives you options... sort of like a 360 cam covers even more and you select the view later, you can do that somewhat with this (but only facing forward in the direction the lens is).
I just bought an Insta360 GO 3S thinking it was an upgrade and it's actually a downgrade. All these cool tricks you do with the GO 3 can't be done on the new GO 3S. I feel cheated.
About Horizon Lock If i understand correctly your video, horizon lock is only possible during post-production, on the application : Right ? There is no way to lock horizon when shooting, just like a gimbal camera like DJI Pocket 2... Could you confirm me ? Thank you
Review made in Austria, bekommt von mir ein Insta like :) Go3 find ich nicht so spannend - grad mal ein wenig mehr Auflösung. Das Gehäuse interessiert mich auf der Drohne nicht. Go2 bzw. Caddx peanut find ich recht gut, wenn die quali nicht top sein muss... lg aus Niederösterreich
This camera gets bigger and more expensive with every new version and yet again no 4K again that was actually the only thing the original GO needed already. Ridiculous, thanks bye.
Considering how badly the GoPro Hero 11 handles heat I'm not sure how you think a camera the size of your thumb is going to do the job without overheating. Physics is physics.
they can put 4k but it’ll overheat. technology have limits too. this camera isn’t for top quality but instead for convenience and the ability to record in tighter spaces, that’s why there’s pros and cons to everything
Don’t buy this camera. It randomly corrupts video files, only to return from my ride find “file corrupt”. Only had this camera less than 2 months they don’t give you any warranty and refuse to refund you. Buy a GoPro.
