Probably the zipline. I took my X3 attached to a chest harness when I went ziplining a few weeks ago. Or the tape measure! My challlenge is still editing this videos. I can't get the hang of it. I use the desktop app. The phone one is too small.
I love trying to get interesting, bold shots in public, but people always inevitably ask questions and it's HIGHLY annoying explaining what Im doing lol. These all look great!
I wish i had the courage to do things like that around people, i am too self conscious and will always be thinking people are staring at me and thinking bad things
Hey @SharingTravelMoments I totally understand how you feel; it can be really intimidating to make videos in public. But remember, most people are too busy with their own lives to pay much attention. Start small, maybe with a friend, and gradually you'll get more comfortable. Focus on the fun and creativity of making videos, and soon enough, you'll find your confidence growing! You've got this!
@@SharingTravelMoments with a 360 camera, because the video is 360, you can export in either resolution without losing quality. You may just need / want to reframe slightly to fit the new format, but it does work well.
This is amazing! I just got my X4 so thank you very much for these cool shot ideas. Do you have a video talking about the camera settings, specifically things like the ISO and Shutter Speed? Those are concepts I’m not too familiar with
Greetings from New York City! I love your advices on different ways to use the 360 Cam. I would appreciate your video on using the creative tape measure zip shots! Thanks for all your great efforts in sharing inspiring videos!
This video made me decide between osmo pocket and 360. I know they are really different in many aspects but I was looking for comparisons and reasons. 360 provides an endless sea of creativity. Btw, whats your PC configs and how heavy is to edit 9kvideos?
Glad to hear the video helped. Shooting in 360 can feel intimidating at first, but hopefully these tips will give you some go to shots on your next shoot. :-)
Nice ideas! Thank you for sharing! - Do you happen to have a tip for a situation, when the speed of the camera movement is not steady? Is there any kind of "speed stableisation" technique?
I think the biggest challenge is to either edit out or at least make sure things look natural instead of having people look at you with a wierd look of why someone is waving a long pole around :D Do you generally inform people of what you are doing or about to do in the direct area you are filming if it is a crowded place?
Thanks again for a great video, I think the look up is my favourite 😍 I will definitely be taking my x3 with me when I visit the Maldives early next year 😀
Great video. Your creativity is awesome. These 360 cams are great because you can not only edit the perfect framing afterwards but even create more than one shot of the same recording simply by changing perspective in post edit. Btw looking at the beautiful old bridge at 1:20 decorated by ugly graffiti is quite shocking. How barbaric of these sprayers to not choose a more appropriate term for them. Either way, one more reason to be glad to be able to edit a 360° recording ...
Thanks, very nice video. Just one precision for "invisible selfie stick" every stick are "invisible" with 360 camera no need to have the one sell by insta360.
I bought an 8 meter telescopic fishing rod, took off the parts that are too skinny and taped an attachment to the end. Now I have a very cheap 5 meter selfie stick for my x3
@@LearnOnlineVideo I actually haven't tried it outside yet, but it even works pretty good inside horizontal, the fishing rod is invisible even with a slight bend.
Hey @TedMattos The #5 Push Through move does have that same immersive and dynamic feel that "The Panic Room" showcased so well. It's amazing how a technique can instantly bring to mind iconic scenes from great films. Glad you noticed the similarity! 😊
So cool you take the time to post videos like this I for one like doing cool stuff like this but have no idea how to go about it. Costco has a good package deal right now on the Insta 360 with 90 day return so I can play around with it for awhile. I have seen online somehow you can use the camera as a camera man where you walk about it looks like its following you any idea how that is done? Thanks
Yikes! This is a very, very long way from the Kodak Brownie camera I had as a child, with 8-12 film images - and the hope that I didn't have my finger over the lens! Holy cow! My son (wonderful young man that he is) gave me one of these cameras after I saw his on our mountain hike together. There are seemingly endless possibilities! That said, as we know, it is ultimately not all about the images but all about the story you tell with them. I'm anxious to tell stories! On a different level, maybe because I'm an old guy, one of my first thoughts is protecting the lenses. Do you have a video on that?
Do you still have to film in 5k to edit into slow motion? Am I able to use 8k and still use features? Just wondering if the resolution would be just as good or better if on 8k mode instead.
All of those are perfect, and with little bit o training I think everyone can do this. However there is big one but. Price. This camera is very expensive even used ones. :(
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! These shots are super easy to capture, even if you're just starting out. And don’t worry, you don’t need the X4 specifically-earlier versions work just fine. It's all about nailing the technique. Hope this helps and have fun getting creative! 👌
I was wondering, anyone ever recorded Bees or Bats? For Bats for sure will be needed a "Time Laps Mode" and for Bees when recorded in front of the Beehive as well. What settings on 360° Video do you suggest?
You’re limited to what you can do editing using your phone, it’s great for quick edits on the move but to really dial in your framing be sure to use the Insta360 studio app on a laptop or desktop. Hope this helps.
Isn't it dangerous for the 3m stick if you attach another stick + X4, won't it break then when holding it horizontally? or should i hold it always vertically?
What was your favourite shot idea and where will you be using it next? Let me know below 👇🎥👌
When at the Beach. My favorite shot was the zipline effect from the bridge overpass.
Probably the zipline. I took my X3 attached to a chest harness when I went ziplining a few weeks ago.
Or the tape measure!
My challlenge is still editing this videos. I can't get the hang of it. I use the desktop app. The phone one is too small.
Crane shot!!
@@around_the_world2360 Excellent choice 🙂
I like the zipline and tape measure techniques, which I've never seen before.
Very cool video - thanks!

The clap transition was the best i loved it so much❤
this guy shares really helpful, creative and simply achievable ideas and techniques. much appreciated.

I agree. I don't have the big long selfie stick (too expensive) but I'd try any of those with my shorter stick.
This is me. I agree with you 100%
@@LearnOnlineVideo Thank you - quick question, is their such a camera that can record both 16:9 and 9:16 without quality loss ? Thanks
@@SharingTravelMoments with a 360 camera, because the video is 360, you can export in either resolution without losing quality. You may just need / want to reframe slightly to fit the new format, but it does work well.
I'm now sold to a 360 camera!! It's crazy how creative you can be compared to a regular action camera.
This is amazing! I just got my X4 so thank you very much for these cool shot ideas. Do you have a video talking about the camera settings, specifically things like the ISO and Shutter Speed? Those are concepts I’m not too familiar with
WOW! Okay...I don't have an Insta360 cam, but now I NEED one! :) I can see how this can truly take footage to the next level. Thanks Steve!
Did you buy it ?
Best idea was tilting the selfie stick to give it a drone effect 😍, loved it. Thank you.

I use a 2022 MacBook with m2 chip and it handles the files well. I was worried about editing the 8k files from this footage so far so good 💻👍
I just bought my 360×4 and I like all your shots they look awesome can’t wait to start😊. Keep up the good work

I love the tape measure idea! I can see several possibilities there!!!
Big fan of your work from Algeria 🇩🇿
The moment of flying into ( or under ;) ) the chair on the square is incredible!
A little later i realized that you flyed in but didn't flyed out 😂
Malaysian here 🇲🇾 Thanks for tips

Damn dude.. Just picked one of these cameras up this week.. You are so much better with yours than I am mine.
It took me a little while, but I promise practice makes perfect :-)
Wow. All those ideas were great 👍👍

Who cares what others think. Just film and have fun
Great video with nice tips and tricks👍 it would be nice to just have a video about editing with insta360.
Keep the great work.
Thanks
Defo do a tutorial on the tape measure. Awesome tutorial as usual.
in UK, you lower the camera to the bottom and upon retracting the tape back you will got your camera no longer lol

Could you please tell me what the clip thing is on your bag strap? Looks like it can hold the selfie stick in it?
You’re absolute correct, it’s a clip to hold the 360 camera when not in use 👌super useful!
Nice
I like the tape measure example a lot. But i dont want to tape my camera so i need somekind of connector....
A simple action cam adapter should work. You wouldn't even need the pen that way.
I was wondering, anyone ever recorded Bees or Bats? For Bats for sure will be needed a "Time Laps Mode" and for Bees when recorded in front of the Beehive as well. What settings on 360° Video do you suggest?
Terbaik 🔥🔥🔥
Instead of a Pen for the Zip Line, I would get the Thread to Gopro Mount, That comes with two holes to put the fishing line into.
How to best get the smooth rotations and fly effect in the edit? I always edit in my phone and the edit is never as smooth
You’re limited to what you can do editing using your phone, it’s great for quick edits on the move but to really dial in your framing be sure to use the Insta360 studio app on a laptop or desktop. Hope this helps.
