Great tutorial! Thank you. I bought my Go 2 some time ago but never used it because I basically hunkered down for COVID. Now, I'm trying to learn how to get the most out of this little gem.
How did you get the stabilisation so smooth on the last clip in the mic test? I can't get it to be anywhere near that stable there's always flickers and bumps shooting on pro mode
After several mistakes today with this little camera I finally found your tutorial. Thanks a lot! It's a shame to have the chance to capture awesome footage and failing to do so because you're not familiar enough with the camera... it takes time

Hi Simon, just received my go 2 and still learning how to use it. Your video has been very comprehensive and useful for me. Can you comment more on the use of HDR mode vs. pro video mode? You recommend pro video mode for most use cases but do you ever have a situation where you would prefer HDR mode?
as I like to do my own colour work in post, I almost never use HDR. I would always use Pro mode because then I can reframe and all the other stuff

At 8:20 several lengths are shown, what's the maximum for "long" ? On the GO 1 it's really short, only 30 seconds with 17 clips !

Im totally thinking about getting one of these! Im a content creator on Facebook primarily, and im always filming the weather, or while im at work. Speaking of weather, how is the battery life for Timelapse?
Does the STUDIO allow you to add keyframes now or is it still better to use the phone app instead?
i just bought one of these and its great but for the light colours make no sense ie why cant we have red for record rather than white as this is hard to differentiate from the blue light in bright sun. Also why cant the pendant be a battery to extend the record time then the pendant can be rechargeable. why cant the battery have a battery status light built in ?? green 100 - 75 %, orange 74 - 50% red 49 - 25% and flashing red less than 25% ???. why cant we put a micro sd card into the remote ??just my thoughts. but loving the video quality. Wayne

Can you use your phone as a real-time monitor with th IGo2? In other words, instead of shooting the scene where after it is recorded you have to open the file and watch it. I do notice that the IGO3 has a flip up monitor

Your tutorial is well explained. Late last night I watched a few youtube vids on this wee camera and liked very much. So ordered one. This morning, on the company webiste the studio download - I read it as if it only worked as a plug in for Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro... I contacted the company direct who agreed with me and I subsequently obtained an immediate refund! But then I find the studio actually works as a stand alone product (this I have only realised watching you just now)..... man o man, obviously the company representative I was in contact with was not familiar with products, merely a 'pen pusher" 🤫
Now reconsidering reordering ?? thank you very much for sharing

any tips for low light night video recording ??? it leaves a grainy video in low light ... the day time recording is just fab but the night time video recording is just horrid like really very very bad ... also how to switch off vibration mode on 360 go 2 for start and stop cause it just eats away the battery .. thanks

Any of the blue tooth selfie sticks available on Amazon have a detachable remote that activates the shutter for video or photo

adjust the horizon? If you mean the horizon level control (or roll) then you need to add a keyframe before it appears

Too bad the overheating issue is still there, unusable in subtropical areas
why when i transfer the video into my pc, it look like low quality video? when recording and look on phone, it look hd. I use the 1440p, 30fps setting... I just purchase it recently, so not know much about it.

I love the camera but I have two big issues with it: 1. Battery life and only one usb option to use external battery 2. Memory - it runs out quickly and there’s no mini sd option to expand it. Buying a new camera with more memory doesn’t make sense. Overall, it’s been great but those two issues make me rethink my purchase at almost $300
It’s too bad that GO 2 video quality and colors science aren’t to my expectations. I wish they comes out GO 3 to give us 4K and better colors
