The band is evolved into Trans-Siberian Orchestra, I'm not very familiar with those stuff but people tend to know that name and they're kinda surprised they're the same people as they're I guess doing more classical type of music and christmas albums, etc Maybe you've heard the name, too. The guitarist sadly passed away early in a car accident, if I'm not mistaken. I think it was a drunk driver incident unless I'm confusing with someone else. The vocalist (who is also the brother of the guitarist) kept leading the band but didn't sing in some of the albums. This is from their relatively earlier work which is more raw 80s heavy metal sound. They've slowly added more semi-symphonic or classic elements, especially keyboards and pianos, occasionally more operatic vocals or choirs and more ballads to their style. I guess that in time lead to their transition to Trans-Siberian Orchestra era. Great pick. You can't go wrong with early Savatage. Other killer Savatage tracks to check out would be "Sirens", "Of Rage and War", and "Hounds".
This whole album is fire,you gotta listen to track 1(24hrs.Ago),then you have to listen to them Crack some cranium's on (Power Of The Night)!! later.
