I hope there will be a Diablo 2 remastered. I used to play Dota but got tired of playing it. Tried different game genres but they just couldn't get my thing. Diablo 2 is one of the games that just wouldn't die and still keeps me playing. Thanks for the build and the exciting content. Keep it up Db!
Diablo 2 is like warcraft 3 custom games for me. I go back every 6 months or so and goof around on them. Super fun. Playing single player with plugy is great too you pick right up where you left off.
and finally thanks a lot for this video! I've put a lot of thought into this bow myself, and it's very nice to see other people who have put interest and thought into the weapon. Especially you Dbrunksi! one of the main faces of D2! Great to see it. I love it. Very informative. I'll look back on this video with much fondness to your creativity and devotion to the game and its many facets.
A bit off topic here, but - I was a long time D2 player and really enjoyed physical bow Amazon, however what I really dislike generally about Diablo 2, is the MF attribute. Problem with these builds is that you require to wear items that completely lack of the Magic Find therefore it is very difficult to obtain / farm solid gear by playing such characters. You were always forced to start with the MF characters, build the "bank" and then start creating a fun characters. I think Diablo 2 would've been much more diverse if the MF did not exists and not every player would go with Sorceress or Paladin, but instead start right off with Feral Druids, Bowazons, e.t.c. and be able to get the gear.
I think the MF stat makes itemization more interesting in D2. You need to balance your kill speed and MF depending on which area/boss you farm. But I do wish there were more viable MF characters
Builds like this can easily still hit 150 MF (50 wtrav + 30 goldwrap + 40 gheed + 25 coh + X from charms) and because of diminishing returns, while not as effective as a 250+ MF sorc, it is still viable. I often start a new ladder playing a javazon equipped with wealth and farming hell cows; basic javazon gear is easy to acquire (just like sorc and pal). The problem is the gear required to make builds like this effective at farming (a full inventory of max damage charms/several high runes) is not something you have access to right away so it can't be an early ladder build. If MF did not exist, people would still gravitate to sorc/pal because their early game is still better
Also a long time D2 player here. Bowazon and Nova Sorc were my favourite builds. I really liked 1.09 more regarding character builds, before synergies and the powerfull runewords, despite the many dupes and bugged items. I remember when 1.08 Arcanes Valor was the best legit item. Nova/Thunderstorm/Hydra, Firewall/Orb... good times were had. I really like your content Dbrunski and I really appreciate you putting the effort in creating these videos, it really shows! That .08 shako with the 40% max heath along with 08 valor on a werebear so much life. Damn good time only socr could tele duels with cruel weapon. Definitely the best time before enigma and botd
It's really sad that neither Multishot nor Strafe got any synergies. Bowie was definitely my favourite build but since 1.10 it's laughable compared to a Java. In general all builds with physical damage are usually worse than any magic damage build. Smite might be an exception but is CB focused anyway.
Great video. bowzon is my favorite character so I play her quite a bit, I have some thoughts. Like you mentioned briefly, might be better to put wrath in a matriarchal bow for less IAS breakpoints because you could really mow down crowds with multishot once strafe procs decrep, guided arrow is a kind of meh since it was nerfed back in the day. In a build like this i would just use strafe as a means to proc the curse and use multi as the primary dmg dealer. also wanted to hear your thoughts on this. I've been messing around with getting a hybrid zon to work for a bit now. You have far more wealth in game so id love to see you try this out. Typically people build hybrids with a max frozen arrow but it's annoying to play because of the amount of mana that skill uses, i've been trying to build one that deals phys dmg with the bow set up on switch. I tried with WWS socketed with 2 ohms but it still doesn't proc amp dmg enough to work, I think wrath might be the answer. The idea is take the points you used in passive tree to max fury/charged strike/power strike. use enough skills in strafe in bow tree to make it work, max penetrate for AR. solves the problem of bowa being a poor boss killer if you can use charged strike on switch and bows to deal with light immunes (i dont have infinity, so for you this might be a moot point) i feel it has potential to be a really fun and unique build...
Hi got a question about the bow, its a Wrath in a Grand Matron Bow, so in my opinion the Bow got normal Atk speed, yours is fast attack speed. In the lists online, it seems with 10 Atk speed so we need 85% for max atk speed no 80%
I really don't know why the debate on Strafe vs Multishot exist. 🤔 The fact that you can actually use both skills. The real question is how and when to use both. It all depends on how the monsters layed out. A big fan of the build btw. I prefer Windforce though. Bowazon is my favorite class build. 😁
Wrath is made with Strafe in mind. It kills with Decrep+Crushing Blows. A Wrathzon doesn't need %ED at all, but +min/max dmg instead. Fortitude isn't needed, Dures is (CB).
Hey DB! I have built several Witchwild String Bowazons in the past and though they do 'decent' with the amp dmg proc, I have never been able to afford GG gear for them. I never really explored bowazon builds when I was playing D2. But I'm curious how a strafe build would work with the brand bow. Can you strafe the brand's explosive arrows or does that get nerfed to non explosive shots in strafe and multi? 🤔
They get nerfed to normal arrows. It will proc bone spears all over the damn place though, and don't underestimate them. They are 180 to 190 added magical damage per hit you score (the attack needs to actually hit though). The 300ish ED to demons means it has like 600 ED against demons in total. That's insane. Overall Faith is a better bow but vs Demons specifically Brand is the best bow in the game.
bowzon is actually pretty strong in pits once you have a little gear and i mean a "little" like loh and maybe an upped goldstrike arc and you are good to go for players 1-3.. very easy to get it to players 7 viable aswell with a little more.. no need for high runes.
This, everyone acts like Faith and Windforce and maybe Ice are the only bows in the game. The Amazon Basin in their reviews of bows, well, yes, those are two of the best bows in the game, there were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places. Also, 2nd only to Faith, Witchwild was the 2nd best STRAFE bow in the game, nobody believes that, but that was the data. But Goldstrike and Eaglehorn are totally viable as you build towards an end game bow, so is Harmony.
I've been playing around with multi Bowa w/ Faith in a Colossus xbow and Pride/Might merc. The build deals out 5k-16k Guided Arrows and 3.6-11k Multi-Shots and it really feels quite powerful compared to people's usual opinion of Bowazons. Don't think it can compete speed-wise (mostly for single target bosses/phys immunes) with some of the other player 8 builds and it definitely requires a lot of specific gear/charms, but it's VERY satisfying to play :D
You should try a spear Zon as they are a bit of fun too but one must have some skill to use them. Make a passion spear for the lighting immunes and a botd spear with 3 skills, eth of you can find one lol, and all the zon skill gear you can find like 20 ias 3 skill gloves, chains of honor, and a crafted increase run/walk with 2 to Zon skills ami. Trust me they are fun and you seem to have enough skill to be able to use one without dying all the time, LOL. The hardest part is in trying to find the right spears as the passion must be the Matriarchal spear and the botd must be the Matriarchal pike both with 3 skills. Just know the Matriarchal pike is really hard to find let alone trying to find one that is eth with 3 skills. Enjoy!!!
Theorycrafting (haven't tested this myself): I would use a faster bow base to hit higher attack speed. Because most of your weapon dmg (before multipliers) comes from charms.
I think slow missile is very underrated even putting 1 point into it is nice. I like most of what you did though. Few changes with what I would max out but all in all its good.

it is so much easier to farm Ber than finding GMB (any mod). in half an hour I've farmed ber and sur from Shenk the Overseer (that was pretty good luck but anyway) Jah dropped from a cow, and I am now farming GMB, 3 levels from 86 to 88 already gained on cows only and not a singe Matron drop. Drives me insane)) any tips for best farming spots?
The pit or cows with low mf setup. Those archers drop bows more frequently than other monsters, but cows can be faster/better due to density if you have an efficient cow farmer.
Nice job on making a bad rune word work. I personally might have gone for the Matriarchal Bow so you don't get so gear locked trying to make up the IAS, but you lose the knockback and I'm not sure where you make it up. Nice job.
Imo yes, by far. In 98% or peoples opinion, no. This bow is a sleeper, if you get the chance to try it you wont be disappointed, its my favorite (used to be WF).

I’m not a bowazon fan, but this “CS build” seems really really funny! In my opinion i always like and prefer to use Valk; probably if i would try this build i’ll go for Valk and razortail. Nice job 👍
I had fun with a budget FA+strafezon back in the day when I picked up a 50% flee mask(forgot what it's called) and buriza and was using cleglaws for the knockback and slow. The stupid dolls can't even get close or pretty much everything even if i'm out of position. when I started hell I respec to Magezon though.

Great to see this build. I used this build during every ladder reset back when i heavily played. I had a bit different setup and chose a Matriarchal over GMB and much diff gear. Exclusively ran P8 CS/Pit/Shenk. Def not as fast as over CS builds but pretty damn good with the right gear. Gear for lazy MF.
I also agree with the nos coil, and pretty much all of the gear, cept for the helm and build. You do need the ias breakpoint though don't you. I think I might have ended up thinking the best way to do it on vanilla anyways(last time I was thinking about a wrath build was for PoD), would be with a matri bow, just because it doesn't require as high of an IAS breakpoint, and you won't need the 30%ias in the helm. the physical dmg is going to be really low anyways.. I think it's meant for the crushing blow procs on packs after the first freezing arrow. It's a lot of little things that add up. On PoD it would be a lot easier to get the breakpoint with a GMB because of rare arrows that can be corrupted with more ias and corrupted gloves, etc. That said, I still think the freezing arrow/strafe build is teh intended route for this build on vanilla or otherwise, and especially meant to be used to run ubers.
also i think decrepify is mainly supposed to be used for survival... idk if the physical dmg was ever supposed to be very high. it was crushing blow which is nice. tbh.. especially if I was going the freezing arrow/strafe build, I'd consider using Infinity on merc and the Dream helm(which adds 600+ lit dmg to attacks). I think Fort would still be the best bet for armor though... for sure. This is just how I would build the wrath bowazon. I wouldn't focus so much on getting the physical damage very high, as it won't ever get high...if you wanted high physical dmg, there are many other bows and better builds for them. oh and btw, the bow itself has lightning dmg on it as well, with dream, it would put your lightning dmg on attacks up to 900...which actually isn't bad at all. I mean, it makes up for some deficiencies, and if you're already going freezing arrow with infinity, it's especially good.
Oh, and another main reason I think this bow works well with freezing arrow + strafe, is that in hell, freezing arrow only freezes for half a second...i suppose you could put points into ice arrow if you want to waste 20 points to raise it to a full second...but with decrepify, it basically cures any issue a bowa would might have in keeping things locked down. Also remember, that strafe excels when packs stay packed together and don't get to move around much. it's why these 2 skills work so well together in the first place, and why Decrepify synergizes best with teh combo, rather than something like lower resist.. decrepify reduces their physical resistances, damage, move speed, and attack speed by 50%. it's amazing with the strafe/freezing arrow combo. It's the optimal curse. I'd much rather have decrepify than lower resist for the combo. If it was just lower resist, you'd still might find some trouble keeping everything tight together and frozen/slowed in packs. Not to mention you'd have hella problems with cold immunes, considering most cold immunes have well over 100% cold resist and can't be broken with either conviction or lower resist and lot of times, both. and you may ask, why not immo? Well, other than the obvious answer that Immo sucks balls in vanilla because of the 1 second casting delay...it really isn't actually that bad. It is an option, it's just not as optimal imho. Immo requires a lot more synergies to become efficient, and you still only get to cast it once a second. Freezing Arrow/Immo is actually one of the best/most efficient ways to build a zon from scratch when you can't manage to find any good bows..exploding arrow OWNS in normal mode. it's just pure ele is not all that great end-game when you have a lot of options for gear. I think it woudl be best to do either/or using freezing arrow with strafe, and immo with multi/KB. Strafe doesn't really need KB when you're using freezing arrow to keep stuff locked down...but if you absolutely need to have it. I think a viable option would be to roll the KB gloves with +2 bowa 20% ias. That said, I don't think it's absolutely necessary...though tbh, I think +3 bow 20% ias gloves would be best for the strafe/freezing arrow build now that I think about it. It would depend on what you're running. LoH is really nice.. I wonder how much of a difference it makes when you already have so much DtD on the bow itself. I'm not sure how it's calculated, but it couldn't hurt. It would honestly just depend on how many demons you run into. Demons do tend to be the monsters with the most HP in the game, so DtD helps a lot. the damage to undead on the bow i guess helps a lot too. most undead tend to be magic and lightning immune, not to mention you can't mana leech from undead...well skeletons anyways.
Because the download is 1.14d, you need 1.14b for bnet. Jist lookup the patch and try starting it back up a few times. I had some troubles getting on with my new computer aswell.
oh btw, i made a mat wrath back in a january season last year 2019, trying the switch method with a normal multishot bowa build, and i didn't feel it was worth the time switching to it to get decrepify off. Like, in the time it would take me to switch, shoot for decrepify, and switch back to kill stuff, i could have already killed any and everything, including every boss in the game. basically a waste of a ber rune testing that out lmao.
fyi strafe has a synergy with decoy out... well at least it says so on the arreat summit and diablo 2 wiki. you shoot more arrows with strafe when you have decoy out. TBH, I feel like Wrath is a good option(besides Ice) for the Strafe + Freezing Arrow combo. Strafe and Freezing Arrow have always worked really well together. Also, I think Wrath is a runeword specifically for bowazon uber runners...everything in there is a demon/undead, and the curses are super useful inside the runs and especially for the bosses. I don't think Strafe was ever meant to be used as a one-trick pony skill...I think it's always supposed to have been used in combination with Freezing Arrow.
strafe is just way too weak of an ability. You need to spend mountains of expensive runes to make her work, which imo is ust meh. Also i've heard due to the way game was made only 2-3 arrows from whole strafe volley are actually deal damage to a single target, so it's pretty meh vs bosses
oh and one last thing i forgot. she'd easily get the bp with the matri for strafe without ias in helm, but the max bp considerable for freezing arrow would be 42(2.77aps) maybe 75(3.12aps).. I think it would be optimal just to shoot for 42, because you don't need anymore than that for max bp on strafe.. and you don't need the fastest attack for freezing arrow anyways considering the point is to switch between the two attacks. ..it's not a one trick pony skill. I mean, if you only shot freezing arrows, it'd be necessary to get as fast attack speed as you could, but since you already have the max bp on strafe, you'd be attacking more with in between freezing arrows, and it's not as big of a deal. 75 is also doable, but it would mean you couldn't use dream in the build, which I think is a major dmg boost for the infinity/wrath strafe/freezing arrow build. I think 2.77 aps for freezing arrow is good enough when you're strafing between shots. of course, max breakpoint would be the most optimal, but i don't think it's worth dropping both fortitude and dream for it(basically you'd need a 160/60 ias armor and a 120/45 ias helm). I think if you could get it with just the 160/60 armor, it would be worth it, but not both fort and dream. 42, 75, and 142 are the breakpoints for matri. all you need is 37 for max bp on strafe with matri. 75 is also doable ofcourse.. but i'd rather replace fort with a 160/60 personally, than replace dream. It's only like 660 lightning dmg with holy shock yes.. but 140% ed on wrath doesn't really amount to much...pretty sure you get more dmg from dream than fort tbh lmao. not to mention like i said many times before this build uses infinity.
This is really cool, but there is no point at all, Diablo 2 developing wasn't ended and pvp isn't working as its should be. The same stuff as Diablo 1, maybe this is why this games is unique and still alive, because nobody can downgrade them with a remastered version

The build does work but and that being the operative word Bowazons stink in pvm for me. They are awesome in pvp though. Way to slow to be effective mfers. None of the physical based skills have synergies to further enhance damage. Awful fcr frames if you tele. Effective damage buffs like ds, CB and ow have a penalty from ranged attacks liked you stated Very slow boss killers Gear is very rare for them and or expensive to get hold of to be able to give out high damage outputs.
@@markblackburn2343 all they did was stand far off screen and spam guided arrow towards town... I mean they dont have any other pvp skills really at all. Slow fcr so they never run enigma which means your skills cieling is quite limited in pvp without teleport. It's all about spamming guides arrow at town and hoping it's not hitting a decent player lol... I have been taken by surprise at times yes of course but in a ready go situation bowzon just doesnt have what it takes. Maybe pre 1.10.
@@markblackburn2343 well I played pvp leagues. Mostly used a blizzard es sorc. We had ready go's. Also used a smiter, just walked around untill someone challenged me. Those stupid town camping builds never Interested me in fact I would prevent that from happening in public games. I think you were a low level pvp'er from the sound of it.

You should try out a Decoy variant. I really like that skill on my crossbow strafer.

I usually end up using multishot about 70% of the time and strafe when the enemies are in thighter spaces lined up behind each other.

Why do you need cold damage on your merc's armor? Doesn't Pride have a Cham in it?

I love Strafe over Multi shot for full proc chance. I have a level 81 HC in act 3 Hardcore right now. Great Vid!!!
Update, she died, got greedy around lvl 90/91. Cranked up difficulty too far and forgot to equip knockback for safety.
bowzon is actually pretty strong in pits once you have a little gear and i mean a "little" like loh and maybe an upped goldstrike arc and you are good to go for players 1-3.. very easy to get it to players 7 viable aswell with a little more.. no need for high runes.
I was a actually leveling my strafe bowa in hell act 1 with an upped burzia at 73, and I had no problem clearing the pit.
This, everyone acts like Faith and Windforce and maybe Ice are the only bows in the game. The Amazon Basin in their reviews of bows, well, yes, those are two of the best bows in the game, there were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places. Also, 2nd only to Faith, Witchwild was the 2nd best STRAFE bow in the game, nobody believes that, but that was the data. But Goldstrike and Eaglehorn are totally viable as you build towards an end game bow, so is Harmony.
I've been playing around with multi Bowa w/ Faith in a Colossus xbow and Pride/Might merc. The build deals out 5k-16k Guided Arrows and 3.6-11k Multi-Shots and it really feels quite powerful compared to people's usual opinion of Bowazons. Don't think it can compete speed-wise (mostly for single target bosses/phys immunes) with some of the other player 8 builds and it definitely requires a lot of specific gear/charms, but it's VERY satisfying to play :D
Interesting. Do you think faith CX performs as well as faith GMB or diamond bow? What charms were you using?
You should try a spear Zon as they are a bit of fun too but one must have some skill to use them. Make a passion spear for the lighting immunes and a botd spear with 3 skills, eth of you can find one lol, and all the zon skill gear you can find like 20 ias 3 skill gloves, chains of honor, and a crafted increase run/walk with 2 to Zon skills ami.
Trust me they are fun and you seem to have enough skill to be able to use one without dying all the time, LOL. The hardest part is in trying to find the right spears as the passion must be the Matriarchal spear and the botd must be the Matriarchal pike both with 3 skills. Just know the Matriarchal pike is really hard to find let alone trying to find one that is eth with 3 skills. Enjoy!!!

Theorycrafting (haven't tested this myself): I would use a faster bow base to hit higher attack speed. Because most of your weapon dmg (before multipliers) comes from charms.
Multi for groups and strafe for small packs and 1 on 1.

it is so much easier to farm Ber than finding GMB (any mod). in half an hour I've farmed ber and sur from Shenk the Overseer (that was pretty good luck but anyway) Jah dropped from a cow, and I am now farming GMB, 3 levels from 86 to 88 already gained on cows only and not a singe Matron drop. Use less magic find to find more base items
The pit or cows with low mf setup. Those archers drop bows more frequently than other monsters, but cows can be faster/better due to density if you have an efficient cow farmer.
Nice job on making a bad rune word work. I personally might have gone for the Matriarchal Bow so you don't get so gear locked trying to make up the IAS, but you lose the knockback and I'm not sure where you make it up. Nice job.

Imo yes, by far. In 98% or peoples opinion, no. This bow is a sleeper, if you get the chance to try it you wont be disappointed, its my favorite (used to be WF).

I had fun with a budget FA+strafezon back in the day when I picked up a 50% flee mask(forgot what it's called) and buriza and was using cleglaws for the knockback and slow. The stupid dolls can't even get close or pretty much everything even if i'm out of position. when I started hell I respec to Magezon though.

Muti shot is better for big open space with big clumps of monsters. Strafe is better for smaller area and tighter space

Great to see this build. I used this build during every ladder reset back when i heavily played. I had a bit different setup and chose a Matriarchal over GMB and much diff gear. Exclusively ran P8 CS/Pit/Shenk. Def not as fast as over CS builds but pretty damn good with the right gear. Gear for lazy MF.

I also agree with the nos coil, and pretty much all of the gear, cept for the helm and build. You do need the ias breakpoint though don't you. I think I might have ended up thinking the best way to do it on vanilla anyways(last time I was thinking about a wrath build was for PoD), would be with a matri bow, just because it doesn't require as high of an IAS breakpoint, and you won't need the 30%ias in the helm. the physical dmg is going to be really low anyways.. I think it's meant for the crushing blow procs on packs after the first freezing arrow. It's a lot of little things that add up. On PoD it would be a lot easier to get the breakpoint with a GMB because of rare arrows that can be corrupted with more ias and corrupted gloves, etc. That said, I still think the freezing arrow/strafe build is teh intended route for this build on vanilla or otherwise, and especially meant to be used to run ubers.

also i think decrepify is mainly supposed to be used for survival... idk if the physical dmg was ever supposed to be very high. it was crushing blow which is nice. tbh.. especially if I was going the freezing arrow/strafe build, I'd consider using Infinity on merc and the Dream helm(which adds 600+ lit dmg to attacks). I think Fort would still be the best bet for armor though... for sure. This is just how I would build the wrath bowazon. I wouldn't focus so much on getting the physical damage very high, as it won't ever get high...if you wanted high physical dmg, there are many other bows and better builds for them. oh and btw, the bow itself has lightning dmg on it as well, with dream, it would put your lightning dmg on attacks up to 900...which actually isn't bad at all. I mean, it makes up for some deficiencies, and if you're already going freezing arrow with infinity, it's especially good.

Oh, and another main reason I think this bow works well with freezing arrow + strafe, is that in hell, freezing arrow only freezes for half a second...i suppose you could put points into ice arrow if you want to waste 20 points to raise it to a full second...but with decrepify, it basically cures any issue a bowa would might have in keeping things locked down. Also remember, that strafe excels when packs stay packed together and don't get to move around much. it's why these 2 skills work so well together in the first place, and why Decrepify synergizes best with teh combo, rather than something like lower resist.. decrepify reduces their physical resistances, damage, move speed, and attack speed by 50%. it's amazing with the strafe/freezing arrow combo. It's the optimal curse. I'd much rather have decrepify than lower resist for the combo. If it was just lower resist, you'd still might find some trouble keeping everything tight together and frozen/slowed in packs. Not to mention you'd have hella problems with cold immunes, considering most cold immunes have well over 100% cold resist and can't be broken with either conviction or lower resist and lot of times, both. and you may ask, why not immo? Well, other than the obvious answer that Immo sucks balls in vanilla because of the 1 second casting delay...it really isn't actually that bad. It is an option, it's just not as optimal imho. Immo requires a lot more synergies to become efficient, and you still only get to cast it once a second. Freezing Arrow/Immo is actually one of the best/most efficient ways to build a zon from scratch when you can't manage to find any good bows..exploding arrow OWNS in normal mode. it's just pure ele is not all that great end-game when you have a lot of options for gear. I think it woudl be best to do either/or using freezing arrow with strafe, and immo with multi/KB. Strafe doesn't really need KB when you're using freezing arrow to keep stuff locked down...but if you absolutely need to have it. I think a viable option would be to roll the KB gloves with +2 bowa 20% ias. That said, I don't think it's absolutely necessary...though tbh, I think +3 bow 20% ias gloves would be best for the strafe/freezing arrow build now that I think about it. It would depend on what you're running. LoH is really nice.. I wonder how much of a difference it makes when you already have so much DtD on the bow itself. I'm not sure how it's calculated, but it couldn't hurt. It would honestly just depend on how many demons you run into. Demons do tend to be the monsters with the most HP in the game, so DtD helps a lot. the damage to undead on the bow i guess helps a lot too. most undead tend to be magic and lightning immune, not to mention you can't mana leech from undead...well skeletons anyways.

Because the download is 1.14d, you need 1.14b for bnet. Jist lookup the patch and try starting it back up a few times. I had some troubles getting on with my new computer aswell.
I use this bow on a freezing arrow bowazon , i use it to kill act act bosses
oh btw, i made a mat wrath back in a january season last year 2019, trying the switch method with a normal multishot bowa build, and i didn't feel it was worth the time switching to it to get decrepify off. Like, in the time it would take me to switch, shoot for decrepify, and switch back to kill stuff, i could have already killed any and everything, including every boss in the game. basically a waste of a ber rune testing that out lmao.

That was not a good showcase of muiltishot... yes decrep is procing less, but you have so much more AOE damage it compensates all.

fyi strafe has a synergy with decoy out... well at least it says so on the arreat summit and diablo 2 wiki. you shoot more arrows with strafe when you have decoy out. TBH, I feel like Wrath is a good option(besides Ice) for the Strafe + Freezing Arrow combo. Strafe and Freezing Arrow have always worked really well together. Also, I think Wrath is a runeword specifically for bowazon uber runners...everything in there is a demon/undead, and the curses are super useful inside the runs and especially for the bosses. I don't think Strafe was ever meant to be used as a one-trick pony skill...I think it's always supposed to have been used in combination with Freezing Arrow.
strafe is just way too weak of an ability. You need to spend mountains of expensive runes to make her work, which imo is ust meh.
Also i've heard due to the way game was made only 2-3 arrows from whole strafe volley are actually deal damage to a single target, so it's pretty meh vs bosses
WRATH + FORTITUDE ARMOR IS GODLY, that damage to demon and undead is unbalanced
u gotta play at least a month on single player to only get the wep, for the merc ......
oh and one last thing i forgot. she'd easily get the bp with the matri for strafe without ias in helm, but the max bp considerable for freezing arrow would be 42(2.77aps) maybe 75(3.12aps).. I think it would be optimal just to shoot for 42, because you don't need anymore than that for max bp on strafe.. and you don't need the fastest attack for freezing arrow anyways considering the point is to switch between the two attacks. ..it's not a one trick pony skill. I mean, if you only shot freezing arrows, it'd be necessary to get as fast attack speed as you could, but since you already have the max bp on strafe, you'd be attacking more with in between freezing arrows, and it's not as big of a deal. 75 is also doable, but it would mean you couldn't use dream in the build, which I think is a major dmg boost for the infinity/wrath strafe/freezing arrow build. I think 2.77 aps for freezing arrow is good enough when you're strafing between shots. of course, max breakpoint would be the most optimal, but i don't think it's worth dropping both fortitude and dream for it(basically you'd need a 160/60 ias armor and a 120/45 ias helm). I think if you could get it with just the 160/60 armor, it would be worth it, but not both fort and dream. 42, 75, and 142 are the breakpoints for matri. all you need is 37 for max bp on strafe with matri. 75 is also doable ofcourse.. but i'd rather replace fort with a 160/60 personally, than replace dream. It's only like 660 lightning dmg with holy shock yes.. but 140% ed on wrath doesn't really amount to much...pretty sure you get more dmg from dream than fort tbh lmao. not to mention like i said many times before this build uses infinity.

This is really cool, but there is no point at all, Diablo 2 developing wasn't ended and pvp isn't working as its should be. The same stuff as Diablo 1, maybe this is why this games is unique and still alive, because nobody can downgrade them with a remastered version

Honestly.i was never really.impressed by them in pvp either. Always smoked them, even top teir bowazons. I think their best ability is to town camp.

@@markblackburn2343 all they did was stand far off screen and spam guided arrow towards town... I mean they dont have any other pvp skills really at all. Slow fcr so they never run enigma which means your skills cieling is quite limited in pvp without teleport. It's all about spamming guides arrow at town and hoping it's not hitting a decent player lol... I have been taken by surprise at times yes of course but in a ready go situation bowzon just doesnt have what it takes. Maybe pre 1.10.
