For a vintage watch it is good to look at the manufacturers advertisements from the time period of Manufacture. They tended to do things right. Great watches!
Every watch is different. the face design, style and material of the watch all play a part. It is also a personal opinion. I like horween leather straps. They are so comfortable and durable. Avoid straps that say genuine leather. It might look nice it is the cheapest leather quality. I am not a fan of metal straps. One of the straps I get comments on is a blue stingray material strap. It is on a steal Omega with gold trim. The watch in my opinion looks fantastic. Again when I choose a strap for my vintage Omegas I look at the watch and try matching it to the watch. The latest strap I am having made is for a 1938 Omega 23.4 men's watch. The watch has true character. The band I have chosen is a black Horween rally style with white threads. I have also ordered an Omega silver buckle for the watch.
What tone is the case and what tone is the dial and the hour indexes? Maybe this video will answer your question: ruclips.net/video/dUZFHZ_UNYE/видео.html
This video is just what I needed. I am currently trying to find a match for my new vintage gold Constellation and the black gator looks amazing. Can you tell me where you got the strap please?
Those belong in a bank vault my friend. You have half a million dollars in watches just sitting on a table. You have a beautiful and stunning collection.
Do people use expensive straps with smart watches not sure if it would make sense to use a light green top grain strap with a blue dial, black dial or white dial watch or make more sense with a smart watch where you can make it a green dial.
I bought this strap from this site: curious-curio.jp/archives/watch-bands-cat/horween But you'll need to use google translate unless you can read Japanese. Just need to pick the colour and size of the strap including the strap number and then send them an email to place the order.
The best pairing of straps to watches I've seen to date. You have a natural gift for selecting the perfect colour and style. Well done!
This is a great channel. You seem like a very trust worthy Omega watch enthusiast, too. Good upload!
Pro tip: watch movies at KaldroStream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Jerry Jad definitely, have been using flixzone} for since november myself :D
I’ve seen a lot of vintage collections on RUclips. It’s amazing I’ve never heard of you. That’s one of the nicest collections I’ve ever seen.
Wow, thank you! This is an old episode. Consider watching my newer videos to view other amazing pieces!
That Seamaster 600 with black military dial is incredible.

Yes, but sometime it is hard for people to find those specially made straps. Plus they can cost a lot. But I do totally agree with you too! :-)

I go by the look of the OEM band or bracelet and not necessarily a product made by the manufacturer.
The military style JLC and grayish military Omega look amazing!
Thank you my friend.
Wow.. just amazing no words to describe the conditions especially the dial alone.. 👍👏🏆

@@TimelessHistoryChannel hey I mean it positively! Many collectors out there don’t share their pieces. This is educational

Don’t think they are worth that much. But of course, they are not on me all the time. I only got two wrists after all. 😆
Good choices
Great video! Where did you get the Rolex Bubble back watch strap? It is lovely! As is the Rolex dial and condition!
Thank you! I supply the strap on my watches. Unfortunately, I am not selling any strap during covid. That one is handmade at my shop. :-)
Great video
What strap should I get, I have a big crown orient pointer date with mint dial. I don’t like the sand strap that it came with. Ty!
How about a black dial with gold case and indices? Like a vintage Longines Conquest
ruclips.net/video/dUZFHZ_UNYE/видео.html. Around the 12min mark
@@TimelessHistoryChannel Thank you.
Nice video. Where do you buy your straps? Do not see them on your website. Thx
I supply my own straps. Unfortunately, will not be selling straps until this covid thing is over as I do not want to make trips to the post office.
blue and stainless steel is a sleeper depending on your fashion
Wow thats a cup
the 50s Jaeger Le Coultre and the omega military had Radium dials?
From the 50s. Then yes.
Tritium was not used until 1963

Hi I am looking for the first croc tan coloured strap. It doesn't seem to be on your website :) Thanks
Currently, I do not carry them. But maybe later on this year I may add new genuine croco straps to the site. :-)
@@TimelessHistoryChannel oh,bad luck. Ok thanks, mate
Also looking for that tan croco strap with white stitching... any suggestions?
