Yes, but only according to US sales propaganda relating to the supposed integrated electronic battlefield. It also helps if one jet can fly rings around the other, because, as we all know, our electronics are subject to faults and flaws from multiple causes--from simple severe weather to solar storms and other infrastructure issues beyond our control.

Thrust vectoring also plays a significant role: eastern fighters have long used 3-dimensional thrust vectoring which permits mind-blowing super-maneuvering... Why did the Skunk Works only incorporate simple 2-D vectoring into the F-22? The price was already prohibitive, I suppose. The F-22 is capable of superb pull-ups in 2 dimensions, but we see no true super-maneuverability in the modern sense. Am unsure if it can pull a technically correct, fully complete Pugachev's Cobra, first demonstrated sensationally to the public by Viktor Pugachev flying an Su-27 way back in the day, at the 1989 Paris Airshow.
Lastly, I will never forget respected Australian Military Analysts stating at the time when we Aussies purchased a big load of F-35 aircraft from our allies, the USA: "This purchase will hobble the Royal Australian Air Force for the next 50 years"... down here we live surrounded by supposedly hostile countries who all use aircraft that fly in a superior manner to the F-35. Despite any perceived electronic battlefield capabilities, the playing field is heavily biased against the little F-35 "Lightning'.

If Su-30 could see F-22, it would also see all the other flies and its radar would never lock F-22, and forget the heat-seeker as F-22 has already spotted you before you can get in heat-seeker range, and fired AIM-120 at you. There isn’t any was to evade AIM-120s.
The only scenario where Su-30 would have a chance is if they started off next to each other. But when does that ever happen?

the SU-35 can outperform the F-22 in most engagement scenarios of a classic dogfight. you said it very well. But what you didn't say is that the SU-35 can also destroy any missile that the F-22 launches against it, we have seen this in practice, the soviet-made su-34s, which are bombers, do it many times. so unfortunately such a confrontation will either end up with the F-22 destroyed from the missile that in 2 seconds will launch the su-35 or a dogfight where the F-22 doesn't will have many luck. so in this confrontation the pilots have the main say. and from what we know Russian pilots are better trained than Americans who have never been involved in real air combat

It's embarrassing reading American commentary about their “superior” F-35 fighter jets. Americans who we read talking about their own aircraft, or any of its military weapons, are invariably clueless. And jingoistically claim that all Russian jet fighters are “rubbish”. And always claim the Yanks are 10-years ahead in technology. If only it were true eh?
They all prove how little they know or even understand, because none of them have ever asked themselves the most obvious - how can the F-35 stealth fighters detect, track, or target any other stealth aircraft from beyond visual range (BVR)? “Stealth” alone, only defeats high-frequency short wave radar, by absorption and deflection. But it does NOT defeat low-frequency long wave radar. To detect, track, and target other stealth aircraft from BVR, you must have long-wave radar, and it must also be enhanced to remove all background clutter for targeting purposes. And neither the APG-77 radar, used in the F-22, or the APG-81 radar, used in the F-35, can detect any other stealth aircraft from BVR as they have no long wave radar.
When the F-35 radars were being designed 15-years ago, there weren't any other stealth aircraft to think about as a potential threat! So, how can anyone possibly consider these US stealth aircraft as any sort of real threat to either Russia or China, who both have these US stealth aircraft technically beaten today? They can detect, track, and target the US stealth jets BVR, while the US stealth jets can't even detect them BVR?
The reality of this Russian “rubbish” that they all claim, is that Russia has a new 5th generation fighter jet with enhanced long-wave radar. The new Byelka 2-band radar used in SU-57. They can detect, track, and target the US stealth jets from BVR. Russia has designed, and they've developed, the first L-Band fighter radar in the world. They've embedded L-band AESA radars into the leading edges of the wings, the L-band AESA radar "data" gets processed in real time through extremely powerful Russian computers, meaning they can detect, track, and engage enemy stealth aircraft from BVR.
This new Russian technology, along with its very impressive range parameters, and it's jamming ability over very large areas make this aircraft deadly to all other aircraft types. Just Russian rubbish? And they interact in ''real-time'' with each squadron member, auto selecting the best placed BVR missile being carried by any of them that can be fired by anyone of them. They can take full control of surface-to-air (SAM) missile defence systems - that alone is lethal, and they can detect, track, and target all enemy stealth fighters, and detect them long before they even enter Russian airspace. From much greater distances today with the "real-time" data from all those massive Russian ground long wave stations that are all protected with their networked of S-400 ground-to-air missile defensive system.
These Russian stealth jets will always know exactly where the enemy stealth fighter aircraft are, so they'll approach them head on, being able to shoot down the US stealth jets from BVR while remaining undetected. The US stealth fighter jets would not even detect them coming!
Russian new 2-band radar, covers all frequencies across all channels, used for tracking, targeting, and also for jamming over large areas. It's part of Sh121 multifunctional integrated radio electronic system (MIRES) on board the SU-57. Russia tested this new radar suit in the SU-35's, so they also have the option of fitting this radar into the SU-35's. Considering the all-important Russian advantage in BVR missile range, plus the excellent manoeuvring, neither the F-22/F-35 have, US jet fighters are going to have a difficult time avoiding simply being blown out of the sky.
Plus the latest Russian 5th generation radar design provides shared multifunction apertures, with applications including: Search, track, and destroy, missile mid-course guidance, against low signature aircraft, identification of friend or foe with secondary surveillance radar.
The Russians also have high-powered active jamming systems. Capable of jamming satellite navigation receivers over large areas. And jamming of AEWC-AWACS and surface-based search radars at long ranges. And active jamming of guided munition command data links over large areas. Effectively, and completely, neutralizing the USA's use of AWACS for their detection.
The reality is this Russian L-band radar is an extremely important strategic development, and it's a technology renders the older US F-15 and F-16, and narrowband stealth designs like the F-22 and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and most UAVs, as highly vulnerable to all Russian jet fighter variants equipped with such radars.
Just Russian crap? A SU-57 fired at, and shot down, a Ukrainian SU-27 from a range of well over 200 km's in Ukraine, smashing the previous world record of range any jet has been shot down from.
The F-22 has shot down a weather balloon.

F22 wins in a dual. It is obviously more modern. But there are other factors at play. The first one being that "duels" rarely occur as planes usually attack in formations. The su-35 is ten times less expensive to build, and training the pilots is far shorter. What this means is that in the event of a conflict you'd have far more su-35 flying everywhere. The f-22 has a limited number of onboard missiles and once he fires he blows his stealth cover. Things get more equal when you think that having more su-35 in the sky and the Su-35 being a better dogfighting plane we could emagine that Russia would adopt strategies taking advantage of this. One being having squadrons flying at distance from one another and trapping the f-22 into engaging in close dogfighting therefore getting back the advantage. In Hockey there are two kinds of forwards. There are the ones with a great shot and skills that can shoot from afar, and there are other grittier players who can play in dangerous traffic closer to the net. Both are lethal, one pays a heavier price, as more prone to get injured. When your team has only superstars that are afraid of getting injured you can not win the championship. A team consisting of many grittier players will win on the long run. The f-22 is a "show" plane. An actual war will be won by f-16, f-35 (used as a stealth bomber exclusively), and f-18 Super Hornet as a dual purpose fighter/strike bomber. One area often overlooked is the use of kamikaze drones, intelligent missiles, suprasonic missiles, and unmanned drone bombers/fighter jets. We have cars which can drive by themselves and we have computers playing chess.. soon we will have unmanned war planes outperforming human pilots and will not care to "die" in the process.. these technologies already exist but are kept behind closed doors. When you have a joker in your hand of cards you don't show it around... That is why the U.S. isn't producing anymore f-22… they know that the real stuff is elsewhere.. The Russians know all of this btw.. China are also developing next level stuff which we don't know about..

I will disappoint you, but the SU-35 is better than any US aircraft. RCS F22 according to our measurements is 0.1-0.5 (depending on the angle of exposure), the Su 35 radar sees the raptors at a distance of 180-250 km and can attack at an angle of even 90 degrees (the raptor cannot do this), the Su 35 uses missiles with a range 300 kilometers or can transmit information to ground air defense. Also, the Su 35 sees the raptor in the infrared range at a distance of 100 kilometers, the raptors do not even have optical detection systems.

@@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я The Bible teaches us that Russia will win in Ukraine. ( Daniel Chapter 7 verse 5 Russia is the "Bear") The war will be expanded and more countries will be destroyed. That means a direct conflict with NATO with no proxies.
Russia defeats NATO and we find in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 the Gog/Magog war Russia's Allies which include Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and also Germany.
This logically means that after NATO is defeated Germany and Turkey align with Russia and therefore NATO is dissolved and the USA is evicted from Germany. This is the future and is what the Bible instructs us.
Stealth is now old tech. The Americans have admitted that low level radar can now see stealth. There was an American general that was astonished and asked the British radar tech how he could see and track the stealth plane as it's radar signature was the size of a pigeon. He replied that pigeons do not fly over 250 mph. Veteran radar operators are now seeing stealth. This is a normal development and usually your tech advantage has a limited shelf life.
The BVR arguement was used by the Americans in Vietnam. The Mark 1 F4 phantom did not have a gun and the Americans were forced to install a belly gun strapped onto a weapon hard point. Later F4s had the gun incorporated into the design. The Americans lost many many pilots to the Mig. Only 16% of missiles fired by the F4 found their target and the American pilots found that they were forced into dog fights because they needed to be able to identify friend or foe when multiple targets were present.
The kill ratio was so lopsided in favour of the Russian Migs that the Americans were forced to create an air to air combat school called "Top Gun" made famous by Hollywood staring Tom Cruise as Maverick. I believe this scenario will be repeated but the difference is that this time the USA will not have the time to leap frog pass the Russians in tech.
If you neutralize the stealth with an updated radar in the Russian fighters and also their AWACS then the Russian SU 57 will feature a plane that is twice as fast, double the range, has a much higher ceiling and will be much more maneuverable in a dog fight than anything the USA have in their current fleet. The American pilots have been instructed to do BVR fights only but I see a disaster coming for the USA and Maverick will not save them.

That's why they gave Ukraine cluster bombs.
The US and NATO arsenals are now almost empty. Nowadays, North Korea produces 1.5 million 155 mm shells per year, which is more than the United States and NATO each year. Russians produce more than North Korea.
In Russia, since 2022, the production of drones has increased by 20 times, tanks by 3-4 times, airplanes and helicopters by 2-3 times, shells 10 times. Russia now has an army of about a million people which has the best combat experience right now.

Forget about the 4th gen F 16, FA 18 or F 15, an upgraded SU 35 is atleast equal to an F 22 if not better. The per hour cost of maintaining an F 22 in the sky is so high and the maintenance required is so frequent and lengthy that only a handful of those can remain in the sky at the same time. Needless to say, less than 200 F22 won't suffice to win a war if the adversary is China or Russia. Besides, the US can't bring all the F 22s to a single part of the world in case of a war. The US knew it very much and so they stopped the production. The entire concept of F22 revolves around the stealth and the "first shot first kill" method.

Mostly maintenance costs and weapons. Fuel is a very minor cost. In flight the skin of any stealth aircraft will take some minor damage, all of which decreases it's stealth so that has to be fixed right away using advanced materials and techniques. Parts can not allowed to operate until failure and so are replaced long before any expected failure. Missiles are fantastically expensive, especially the US missiles which are more advanced, so anytime one of those is fired replacing it is a major cost. For example, just one AIM-120D costs over $1M USD. Installed cost of full armament for the F22 is around $8M USD.

Why would you state a conclusion in the introduction? In general, Sukhoi jets with 3D vectored thrust must outperform the F-22 with it's simple 2D system in terms of hyper-maneuverability, when things WILL get up close and personal. What was the reason (apart from competitive tendering) that LM didn't design 3D vectoring into the delicately coated, extremely expensive F-22? Sukhoi fighters also hold official world records, such as rate of climb to 60,000 feet. Let's also mention the single engine F-35--military aviation experts here in Australia--where we purchased the little F-35 out of our extreme loyalty to the USA and purely political, rather than performance or evidence-based reasons--assessed that our massive F-35 purchase will cripple our Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) for the next 50 years. We are surrounded by countries using advanced Sukhoi fighters down here.

The Bible teaches us that Russia will win in Ukraine.

It's stats are trash for a fighter engagement. It's a strike aircraft, not air superiority, the F-35 would get it's a s s kicked by Chinese and Russia fighters.

Not exactly. The f22 can get closer for a higher quality shot, without being locked by the flanker. The stealth of the f22 is a challenge for the flankers targeting

This is the most unfair matchup ever. The f22 would down the su 35 before it even takes off.

Ummm now compare the Su57 and the F22

    • @recoil53
      @recoil53 Год назад +1

      The SU-57 has a radar cross section of between .1 m^2 and 1 m^2 vs the F-22 .0001 m^2.
It's no contest - the F-22 is both harder to detect and has better sensors.
Plus American pilots get a lot more flight hours, which maintains and builds skill.

It's not even close. One F22 will shoot down 6 Su 35s and fly home untouched.

The Bible teaches us that Russia will win in Ukraine.
