If both planes are equal on an equal playing field then pilot skill will make more of a difference. Comparing Airframe capabilities is very situational and mission dependent.
Just ask for any acft vs. the same type. There, all pilot skill will be on display. I'm down with that. Run a best of 5 fights. Winning pilot carries on, so if GS gets smoked, he will just narrate the next match on his channel.
At least two of those F22 wins were entirely the technology of the missile. Not pilot manuevering or anything else... clean misses that self-corrected enough to put a Mk.48 torpedo to shame.
Man, I hope that is an accurate representation of the 9X. That was nasty. Round 4 loop was cool. Round 6 was just nasty. To do that big of a loop and hint you down like that. Definitely can say it had a lock on you. Hate it when you fly a none Allied plan. Always end up rooting for the other guy. Lol.
I think he avoids playing in mods that don't have much polish, he doesn't have a problem facing off against them though. Hopefully the mods continue to improve.
I think that this scenario may actually happen. Just had a huge amount of F22's land at a local airbase to me here in England last week. All wearing external tanks. All serviced and refueled and turned around within 24hrs! Great video as always. Best wishes from across the pond. 👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻

At the start of rounds 3 and 5 the F22 turned into combat too early. This allowed the Su-35 to launch the missile perfectly and take the kill.
Yeah, they didn't properly complete a merge, so it was kinda fitting GS still lost.
The F-22 threw the fight in those rounds to give the Russian viewers something to cheer about
