On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8. Игры

F35 Vs gripen? Youve done this video like 10 times
Always fun to watch. I think DCS is very generous when it comes to modeling Russian capabilities. In a real fight, personally, I don't think any Russian fighter would be able to lock-up a F22. The only exception would be if it was on the F22's tail.

Still waiting for GS to drop the BF3 F-18 mission “Going Hunting”
This needs more likes🤣💯

"You've yee'd your last Haw Felon" - F-22 pilots probably
“You’ve Aced your last Combat.”
60 Su57 in the end of 2024 and 150 F22, 60 isnt much, but 150 isnt either
Come on dude don't make fun of them. They only have 2 felons left now. 😭😭
@@miguelpericas6154 You'd be surprised of how effective those numbers are.
@@johns1625 2 should I say 40.

Radar told the Su-57 missile to hit the bumble bee and it went after an actual beehive.
I was not expecting to see a SU-57 to disintegrate like that
Happens pretty often on this channel actually
Russian build quality
@@Ankhobo been here for a while never seen a SU-57 disintegrate like that
I think he was supersonic when it hit. Maybe DCS has a damage model for that.
@@jacobcones2803 the plane going poof like that definitely has happened a few times before.
Worst decision the pilot could have made was going on water and he actually did that
Correct. Should have stayed over land.
@@GrowlingSidewinder Why??
@@joseglenn20Objects on the ground help in several ways, they difficult radar's work or missiles could hit said objects, like in the video, noting like that in the water.
@@joseglenn20 The AMRAAM's internal radar is nowhere nearly as sophisticated as what is on the F-22 (for rather obvious cost, size and weight reasons). Ground clutter, as it is called, is the irregular and constantly changing radar return from the ground itself, and it's hard for the radar (or rather, processing unit) to separate out one moving thing against a backdrop of constant "noise" like that. As soon as you go over water, especially calm water, it gets much easier to detect the aircraft. So if you can get under the missile and over a hilly forrest you have an advantage. Getting under the missile, but over a calm lake, is about the same as letting it track you on the backdrop of empty sky.
@joseglenn20, why? Because the match could have been a better and more intense fight.
NOTHING gets me hyped like that first Sonic Boom 💥
Its such an awesome sound, especially when your in the cockpit.
Here's how to best protect your AWACS..., tell it to go land.
But an AWACS is useless on the ground
@@pyronuke4768 Point is, he didn't need it.
@@gwcrispi the point is, GS could not tell it to go land even if he wanted to. A single pilot does not have the authority to ground an AWACS, that is a commandeer-level decision.

"I'm in a snowstorm here."
_Precipitation!_ The Raptor's one weakness...
What about thunderstorms? Or was it F35's no go...
If i remember correctly, the F-22 is an all weather air superiority stealth fighter. The B-2 spirit and the F-35 are the ones who have a bit of a struggle in rain.
@@FA-18ESuperHornet-jm7my Their much cheaper RAM struggles a bit more in some regimes, but is more easily replaced--hence the design choice to use it.
Isn’t that an urban legend from the early days of F-117 public knowledge?
As an eternal fan of naval terminology and the age of sail I dig the use of "put it on the beam" as a term for flying perpendicular to the track of the incoming missile.
Thanks. I'm new to the channel (And air combat in general. I was in the artillery) and there is a whole lot of lingo that I'm trying to piece together.
@@andersjjensenGS has a bunch of air combat basics videos if I remember correctly that explain some of these concepts; you might wanna seek some out
@@theflightguy8726 Thanks!
I heard those Russians shouting in my head when the second amraam hit them "BLYAT"
I'm surprised three got out.
No electrons were hurt while making this video.
F22 said," POOF BE GONE"
That Felon just vanished into the Multiverse I think. lol Well done.
Fun fact: you can blend into ground clutter...
...if you get shot down.
Are you really using reverse psychology on these confidence seeking missiles? 😆
LOOOL
* F22 smacks lips *
"...I'd intercept me"
That Felon glitched when it got hit by that AMRAAM 😳
Su 57 down
Didn’t expect the felon to just disintegrate like that lol
10:09 It's possible I hit him and he FELON to the water 🤣
I am seeing a serious parallel here with the Seawolf class submarine vs the Akula ore even the Yasen
Damn, that fox 3 straight up juiced him
They say their low freq radar can detect it but I highly doubt it can get enough of a return to get a lock.
It's a resolution thing.
Imagine having a rifle scope that can't see camouflaged animal, then having a thermal scope that can see a blurry heat spot. You can shoot at it, but if it's blurry, you might not hit it.
Dang. Here early. You should do the Su-25 v Su-57 since you've done the F-22 v A-10
I was watching through some of the old IL-2 stuff, love to see more of that sometime soon sir!
That missile into the tree struck its target. Some squirrel named Rocky.
Natasha was mortified.
Holy smokes, that was scary. :D
Now vhere is moose?
Su-57 literally went invisible
Just like real life they are invisible, because they aren't around.
true stealth achieved
kimchi2780, the same thing goes to F22, and it mostly tries to crash in land and ground. It has good accident records. They get hugh tax payment for that.
@@heatblast876there’s a lot more f22s though lol
@@thyunholysinner5389 Yeah, like there's more F35 than F22, F35 will crush F22 in BVR match. Now cry.
AIM-120D-3 is what the F-22 would be carrying and soon the AIM-260 JATM which will out shoot everything and everyone, basically making the F-22 truly invincible for years to come.
the r-77 will be coping and seething if it could
You know what does need the aim 260, the f15EX, it would be an absolute machine with 12 of those strapped to its wings

"Vaporized... blown out to sea" - dude got absolutely starched
To say that your "missile finds him" is a wee bit of an understatement!!!
"He Felon to the water".. Lol..
Were you and Habitual Line Crosser been sharing notes?
That missile trisected bro thats craaazy☠️💀
“Lemme show you a magic trick. I’m gonna make a Felon disappear. POOF! GONE!”
The Kid to the Felon, "So if you're lonely, you know I'm here waiting for you. "
Would be nice to see you flying the su57 to see how you would use the hypersonics!!!
He has a few videos of him fighting F-22s and Eurofighters in the Felon
Hahahaha, he turned into pink mist leaving you, "wait, what?"
Hey, I would love to see the tac-view come back sometimes. Was always a good visual on where the missiles got defeated etc..
GS, I believe you are one of the best PC pilots i've ever seen. You rock, and thanks again for your content.
You've gotta get someone to sneak up on your left side in a Raptor and mutter "Clever Girl" just before getting smoked.
That was a whack explosion on the Felon. Did one of his missiles detonate??
9:21 well dang
I didn't expect him to do that
Hope he enjoys the Shadow Realm
I hope we are going to see Turkish made KAAN on DCS soon. I am so impatient to see her performance during BVR and VWR conflicts
Amazing video 👏!!! Thanks!!!
That hit on the Felon caught me by surprise.
You turned that felon into molecules 😅
Damn! That Felon exploded!

Dimitri: "So Yuri, where are you taking Natasha for weekend?"
Yuri: "Oh you know the usua--"
Just saw the Raptor today at an air show, it’s unbelievable.
I've come to like the BVR engagement videos more than the dogfight videos. There's a completely different skill set at play in the BVR engagements, including a little bit of suspense about whether or not a BVR missile shot is going to find its target, and I find it very compelling.
Great video GS would love to see you doing the same in the Felon.
All of you talking about how stealthy the F22 is, but just look. The Su57 disappeared without a trace
Still do not understand how R-37M missiles manage to get within few miles of an F-22 (tracking it all the time) but seem to miss at the last moment while the radar signature of the F-22 should be at the maximum. Ground clutter + chaff explains it all? Great video as always!
The radar isn’t as good in a missile seeker plus aspect change combined with what you’ve already said would be my guess
this is a simulation.
After the missile booster runs out, it's slowing down. If it constantly has to turn to chase the 22, it's losing speed even more. Eventually, it just can't turn with enough energy to keep chasing the 22.
The fact that anyone was able to parachute out of that AWACS while it was spinning and burning completely out of control is a miracle.
Thanks for uploading this the day I saw the F22 Demo in my home state. My ears are still recovering….
Good luck seeing a bumblebee in a snow storm….
It will be fun to revisit this once the AIM260 is on DCS since the F22 is first in line!
Question: why do the sparrows on a phantom shoot the pair in the rear of the airframe first?
was eating cereal and this came up lets go
et tu?
*noms on granola*
I was really hoping the title would be "F-22 Raptor Vs Su-57 | Severely outmatched | Digital Combat Simulator | DCS |" I would've died laughing at that title
10:10 And he “Felon” to the water, LOL!
Now that there are two dedicated fighters in it, would be fun to see some videos in Nuclear Option from you
This is the first time I have seen the Felon do something other than lawn-dart when it is destroyed.
Funny how the Su-57 was externally carrying 2 massive missiles and still able to lock you before you even detect him.
Those Russian missiles must have stealth-improving capabilities.
I worked as a crew chief on the exact F-22 GS is flying. Langley AFB.
It's funny how the F22's cockpit has animated vibration upon missile launch when zoomed into the HUD, despite ejection is done by pheumatics with the use of AVEL, which should not transfer vibration onto the airframe.
8:47 Random beehive doing last preparations for the winter.
SU just completely disappeared. Nice magic trick.
That's their stealth kicking in.
10:08 "...it's possible he...'Felon to'...the water?"
I was waiting for the usual boom only for the felon to get disintegrated
True 5th gen stealth vs reduced visibility 4.5 gen brick held together with wood screws
The missles are soooo hidden which is amazing, because we dont need to show the emnemy our arsenal to scare them, that scares them off just as much
I watched a video about the Su57 that explained the design principles.
The primary goal of the project was to counter stealth aircraft, and a significant part of the budget was spent on neutralizing stealth.
One example of this is using l band radar which lacks the precision to target, but has much greater range at the same power level, and is capable of tracking stealth aircraft, at range.
My theory is they use Lband radar to narrow the search window of thier asea radar, allowing to focus all the power of thier radar on a tiny area.
Thank goodness for our aerospace industry. We have some great tools in our toolbox.
Sick bro🔥🔥💯
Where can I find your thumbnails in full size? They look amazing
Snowstorm: hope you didn't like that RAM coating🤭
If GS was on the Felon, the ending would be different....
Is the Mach number below the ASC M in the F-22’s HUD?
You should do a free for all, of the F-22, Su-57, and the J20
Would you consider a tip of the spear type mission against every top tier Russian asset i.e. s400 su57 su35 su27 and AWACS and go after a ballistic missile compound with several f22/35/15ex.. top tier vs top tier???
Russians testing the SU-57's ability to turn AMRAAMs into a cloaking device succeeds with mixed results.
Cloaked - Yes.
Survivability - Not likely.
Again, well done sir.
Always expect the best of your enemy if the russians say they can see then act like it never get complacent
This is 100% the correct attitude. And if they COULD see they were silly to tell you but since they did treat it like a fact and don’t underestimate your foe. This is 100% the correct attitude to have something that is in verrrrrry low supply these days with everyone believing a lot of the propaganda out there.
@@GrowlingSidewinder Exactly.
From a "Math" gamer point of view, think of it as "If I don't defend, and it can find me, then I lose. If I do defend and it can find me, I might not lose. If I do defend and it can't see me then I win. Broiling it down: IF I defend, I maximize my chances of winning. IF I don't defend, then I maximize my chances of losing. Defend anyway."
I'd like to see this with you in the SU57!
Were the missiles on the Felon modelled to increase its radar cross-section?
F22: Would you interspect me. I'd interspect me
Suggestion for new video, SAAF mirage F1 vs Angolan MiG-21👀
can you do eithe po-2 vs f22 or i15 chaika dogfight everything
F22 only needs it's one quote.
"You should really just go home now"
Interesting to see the YF-23 vs the Su-57
I would like to see a 4 ship battle no allies between F-22, SU-57, J-20 and SU-35, Starting From North, South, East, and West, fight though all fighters to kill remaining AWACS. I think it would be interesting to see who wins.
Another go at this one.
Is the new E-7 Wedgetail AWACS in DCS yet? Boeing and Northrop Grumman did an incredible job developing this platform for the Aussie RAAF, so much so that there is a USAF version in the works to replace the E3.
I definitely want to see the f14 tomcat go against the F4 phantom
I met a guy who was speaking with a Navy F18 pilot. This pilot and three other F18's were going to an airshow and they were all lined up traveling to the airshow. The F18 pilot said they were following an F22 and the group decided to do a quick mock engagement. The F18 pilot said he never had any clue where or what the F22 was doing. He indicated all four were locked and they never had even the slightest clue as to where the F22 was.
Makes me wonder how the Russians can see our F22 but a group of F18's cannot?
Smaller antenna means higher frequency radar. Bigger antenna use lower frequency, which is better for seeing stealth aircraft, but are so big they have to be on ground/ships. The radar in the missile itself is even smaller, so is the easiest to defeat.
I think I saw his turret blow straight up!! 😮 😂 😊 ❤
Any videos with the Mako missile yet?
I'd love to see you BVR against 2 Felons and a couple nonstealth sukhois
