Simply adapt and over come. The You Tubers have made the forthcoming closure of the Drove nr Stonehenge far easier. Entitlement and not giving a shit about anyone or anything else, seems to be the norm rather than the exception, and I would think in less that 2 years overnighting in vehicles, will be restricted to private sites which are strictly licensed.
I agree with you large numbers in one area draw attention especially popular areas i would rather be in a quiet out of the way park up overnight anyway as there is less chance of being disturbed

Park4night etc and the attitude that goes with it , as you say , entitlement etc are the biggest issues facing us I'd say . As long as lorries have tachographs there will always be parking places just not in idilic locations . I'm fighting it to the death anyway , no way will I ever go back to a house , I'm allergic to towns , traffic and Karen's.

The videos of the Drove near Stonehenge are a perfect example of this, and the numbers there shown on all the videos mean a ban on the grounds of public health and environmental damage alone, would be a mere formality.

More rubbish imo. 15 min cities were an architectural concept that has been distorted by the usual social media rubbish imo. Year ago most country towns were in fact 15 min type deals as most people worked in the area and life's needs could be purchased in the main street. I've seen it completely change in the 4 decades we've lived in our town. Fact is that van dwellers are actually more reliant on the system than people living in houses imo. I can grow our own food, harvest our own rainwater and firewood and not need to go out for anything for an extended period of time if necessary. How about you? No road and completely done?

Yes, I counted 7 vans in Morecambe over a 1.5 mile stretch. In summer yes they have a issue but even then if the vans went the road would be empty 🤔 is that what these people want. Empty ghost towns.

When the government mentioned bringing in the travellers laws to stop parking I asked the vanlife groups to support a petition. Most said tough they deserve it, and like you say it's them who's the target. So yeah I agree we should have all supported each other. Not so Bridlington, where we used to go 2 or 3 times a year in the '60s and '70's - that place really has gone downhill - just like Scarborough.
