I’m very glad you liked it and thanks a bunch for the support. I invite you to watch my other doors’ videos. I hope you find them interesting as well. Good vibes!
best part of my day watching this. thank you for putting it online, amazing music, beautifully played with passion and great technical skill - it is an absolute joy to watch you play this. thank you.
Man you are great really !!!!! =) awesome , deverdad eres el primero de todos los covers de youtube que suena tal cual uno quiere escuchar, !!! la bateria no muy buena, pero sirve para acompañar el ritmo !!! Y lo mejor apuesto que te divertiste !! HOPE MORE VIDEOS ABOUT YOU SEE U !!!
This is the best cover of this song I have ever seen. In some parts I like your rendition better than Rays' ! Gives me the chills....Nice set o' bones by the way...
Well, it may seem so at first thought specially when some bands have bassist in addition to the piano bass. In my case the principal reason to use it is to plug it into the bass amp and thus play the bassline alone… just like they did in concerts. Thanks for commenting =)
This is the first time (since the video for OutKast’s “Hey Ya” that I’ve seen an example of the Piano Bass being used with a 73. Great combination, and very well done.
+PFranciscooo Excellent and beautiful job, Francisco, tone, groove, technique, everything, great! I would very much like to get hold of the corresponding midi file so, if that's anyway possible, that will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, merci beaucoup,Hervé
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it and believe me I know how it feels. I had to long for them for many years before I found them and even then I got to work very hard to restore them =/
Noup, in fact I’m using some tone bars and tines of the stage piano on my bass They sound different because they go in to separate amps and parameters (of course minding about the same type of Rhodes: early, mid or late models)
TheDoors.com (official site) reports that keyboardist Ray Manzarek (February 12, 1939 - May 20, 2013) has passed away at the age of 74. From the press release: Ray Manzarek, keyboardist and founding member of The Doors, passed away today (May 20, 2013) at 12:31PM PT at the RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany after a battle with bile duct cancer. Manzarek is best known for his work with The Doors, which formed in 1965 after Manzarek's chance encounter on Venice Beach with poet Jim Morrison.
Well, the drummer were my fingers on a keyboard but sure, it is a bit loud. I took more care on that in the complete version I did later. Thanks for commenting. RIP Ray
It's sweet. You can cut the mud out and that leaves the attacks standing out clean and clear. You don't even have to boost the treble to get the Rhodes to cut. To install, all you have to do is remove the original two knobs and replace with the new 4 stacked knob pre amp. It's perfect for boosting into a twin.
Mad skills there P! Awesome job! Love the way you do drums with your left hand and melody with your right hand. It's rather "Bach-like" due to both hands playing simultaneously.....locomotive....."contrapuntal." Superbly done! Thank you!
PFranciscooo Oh I see it now! Great two-hand coordination with the bass and the melody. I guess what I am asking is do you program/record the drums and then play with the drum track? Just wondering. Excellent performance! Thanks for replying. Have a great day PF!
@MOONTRAFFIC Check if the finger sequence you’re using to play the bass line is the easiest for you. I’ve always used the thumb to hit C# but I noticed some people use the index finger. You can also try looking at your left hand all the time and play any note with the right one (of course in tempo and scale) =)

Fantastic job. Your Rhodes sounds excellent.
You flatter me! Thanks a ton!
