Glad to see the music of the doors lives on saw them live in concert three times 68, 69, 70 in Chicago. Ray Manzaric on key board was brilliant in converting Morrisons lyrics into Music
the face of satisfaction is priceless, I am 16, a week ago I started playing riders on the storm and the sound coming out of the piano is satisfying. Good vibes 👍🏻
So good, one of my all time Favourite songs, I remember it blasting when I was 19, we’d just finished a week of trail digging in the white tank mountains in arizona during the spring of 2005 on a 5 week work expedition with nwyc (northwest youth Corps.) and americorps. It was such a good feeling to have another week behind us and in the weekends we’d journey around the state for recreation. This song came on when we were blasting down the highway and it’s forever been my favorite driving song.
Well, I just got into town about an hour ago Took a look around, see which way the wind blow Where the little girls in their Hollywood bungalows Are you a lucky little lady in the City of Light Or just another lost angel? City of Night, City of Night City of Night, City of Night, woo, c'mon L.A. woman, L.A. woman L.A. woman, Sunday afternoon L.A. woman, Sunday afternoon L.A. woman, Sunday afternoon Drive through your suburbs Into your blues, into your blues, yeah Into your blue-blue blues Into your blues, oh, yeah I see your hair is burnin' Hills are filled with fire If they say I never loved you You know they are a liar Drivin' down your freeway Midnight alleys roam Cops in cars The topless bars Never saw a woman so alone, so alone So alone, so alone Motel, money, murder, madness Let's change the mood from glad to sadness Mr. Mojo Risin', Mr. Mojo Risin' Mr. Mojo Risin', Mr. Mojo Risin' Got to keep on risin' Mr. Mojo Risin', Mr. Mojo Risin' Mojo Risin', gotta Mojo Risin' Mr. Mojo Risin', gotta keep on risin' Risin', risin' Gone risin', risin' I'm gone risin', risin' I gotta risin', risin' Well, risin', risin' I gotta, woo, yeah, risin' Whoa, oh, yeah Well, I just got into town about an hour ago Took a look around, see which way the wind blow Where the little girls in their Hollywood bungalows Are you a lucky little lady in the City of Light Or just another lost angel? There are videos that show primates reactions to magic tricks. They essentially display what i felt like when you switched it to Riders on the Storm. Great job well done! Such a fun tune
Its really impressive how you play!! Im a big Doors fan! I can tell you are driving @ 60 miles an hour on your mind thru the rithm of the song... really like your style! Congrats!!! Put up more Doors songs please!! Will be great!!! Riders on storm or whisky bar will do! Have an amazing career!!!!
Thank you very much for your words! I loved your description, and I really enjoy playing this arrangement a lot. Its really great to get in touch with people who feels the music as much as we do. It Keeps me motivated to make more!
You are very welcome Pablo!!! And to be honest, yesterday was the first time i saw your video, by now, i already seen it 10 times in a row!! No joke!!! I really feel this vibe that you give away!! Its really really another level!! Thank you so much for such a great interpretations!!
Thanks man! I have to tell you, I posted this video about a year ago and I was already thinking that nobody would notice that ... you were the first to comment on it. 😂👍
You totally blew me away! Your bass is so strong and your treble/accompaniment are also solid! I agree with you about keeping it close to the original. To be honest, I was hoping you'd do the piano solo in Riders, but maybe some other time. Kudos to you for your natural talent.
Thanks! I spent a lot of time working in the bass lines of this song, and experimenting on how to adapt it to the piano. Literal adaptations doesnt work so fine at most of the cases (and that applies not just to the bass, but to many other situations...). Anyway, the bass lines in this song are fantastic and it gives 80% of the movement, so I worked to preserve the original bass line as much as I could, and adapt it in a way that sounds sactisfatory on the piano as well. Thanks for your listening and your feedback!
That is one good sounding piano! Excellent performance .. accuracy and coherence of a classical pianist but it really rocks as well. Great driving left hand too!
Thanks for listening! You're right, I am a classical pianist, and I think that classical repertoire gives you the most solid technical and expressive basis for you to play whetever kind of music you wish. Since I always listened to other kinds of music besides classical, I'm enjoying making covers a lot! One of my concerns, specially in this cover, was to keep the bass line as close as possible to the original song, but in a way that works on the piano. Nice to know you liked it!
@@PanaroPiano yeah this covers amazing and you mentioning you think learning classical piano was important for the technicality of it is something i totally resonate with now learning piano. My main instrument is guitar and i never really had a teacher i just learnt from songs and live videos over the course of a few years. I've been playing piano for about 7 months now and im learning basically the same way i did guitar and i feel like a caveman on a set of keys, my technique i assume is pretty bad, the hardest thing i can play well is Martha My Dear haha. i feel like training classical pianos a whole different ballgame the techniques arent really something i find to be as intuitive, as in something i can figure out on my own with time like with guitar where everything just made sense, like the fingers when you do scales i keep tripping over my meathook fingers. Learning piano has helped me progress lightyears with theory though im so happy i have a chance to play it every day
Great work, very impresive, but i dont like that you wanted to put a litle riders on the storm in the middle, stil the best piano cover of LA woman and I would love to see some sheet
2:18 best part of all time no joke❤
Carnival music?
Thank you so much from a Doors fan since 1989, particularly appreciate the touch at 2:39!

The lyrics go through your head as this is played such is the quality.
That Jazz transition of riders on the storm is an amazing touch to the song! This cover is so tasty, bravo sir!
Hi Atahan! I'm far from being a jazz pianist, but I tried to put a little of myself in that part. Nice to know you liked it!
@@PanaroPianoabsolute genius! Thank you
That was absolutely obscene SIr, I bow down before you.
OMG. I love this song even more now.
Two words...Absolutely brilliant!....

It's a happy tune for most but for Jim it was a tale of woe.
Absolutely fantastic what a pianist you are! Love that song and you nailed it
now that performance was quite excellent - Ray would have admired your playing
Aw man the way you snuck riders in the storm in there was awesome. This is definitely and by far the best cover of this song I’ve ever heard
Erni, thank you so much for listening and for your support. I'm working on another Doors Cover, hope to upload soon!
Inspirador !!!!!
Adoro essa abordagem dos sons que voce toca !

This is such a lovely cover, and I love your enthusiastic playing as well! Absolute inspiration.
This is like listening to a Vince Guaraldi interpretation of the Doors music. Fantastic and incredibly well done, Sir!
You killed it
Superb! 2:40 come on baby light my fire 😁
This is how I’d prefer to hear covers. Not slowed down and dramatic... and tones of nonsense added. This is amazing.

That was amazing! I’ve been a doors fan for 35 years now ! This is absolutely impressive!
Thanks, I'm really glad you liked it!
Channeling the Doors...Mr Mojo has risen along with Ray... Absolutely sensational! Thanks
Amazing! I ever loved the way guitar and piano talk to each other in this song. You changed it to a monologue, and keep the music atmosphere.
Great job, really enjoyable to listen to, thanks!
Thanks man!
You killed it with such gentle touch!
Great cover! Enjoyed the full video, also really cool to change to Riders on the storm and back to LA Woman!

Hi Florian! Wow!! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and share your thoughts on this!
This is a great cover! You really brought out the spirit of the song! 👌
Great basslines! I think you were listening very carefully to Jerry Scheff's great playing on the original recording 🎸
@Michael Maughan it was both Scheff on bass and Manzarek playing the keyboard bass with his left hand
Out standing performance
Fantastic
Absolutely brilliant! Left hand right hand independence here is fantastic! Wow😮
✌️😊
Awesome!
Badass! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I can tell you prob have a mean Charlie Brown in your bag too!
