Well its a song that Ive never been lucky to hear Nightwish play. Alas I never got to see Tarja with Nightwish. I saw the first outing in the UK with Annette first trek out with Nightwish & then of course Floor. Neither have sung Sleeping Sun, in the UK :(
Maybe if they timed it well they could employ the help of the sound & monitor engineers from their colleagues. I mean the guys who do the works for Amaranthe, Epica and Sabaton should be able to handle it and with the right hand offs it could be a smooth transition from Crewish to Nightwish or vice versa. Would require quite some logistics between the stages though.
Love the idea of this project and an incredibly important cause.....without the crew we have no Nightwish, it’s a team effort and we appreciate you all..thankyou guys/gals - preordered. 🤘”time to rock”🤘🇫🇮
Sounds a bit like Rammenstein, a German heavy metal band with a deep bass lead singer! Totally different take on this song, wouldn't necessarily recognize it at first. Very cool that they all had fun pulling this together!
This raw version moved me the most of all. Must be because of the time we are living in. Hardworking people trying to make life more pleasant for other people and at the same time trying to make the best of it for themselves. Hardworking Nightwish crew, they make it possible to get the best performances from my most admired band.
This is a true cover, not a chip copy of NW, congratulations crew members of NW, you making a great job till now,l am sure that the rest of CD will be fantastic,i already pre-order it first for supporting issues but believe that we will love it. Reminds me little of Rammstein, the voice, the vibes the video fires and little German accent but i love Rammstein and NW ❤️ and for this is more exciting. I completely agree! Credits. The liner notes in the CD are vague. I've seen Nightwish 11 times, begged these guys for setlists etc...I want to know who plays what, who arranged, who sang, etc.
So much fun listening to this. I loved it! Rammstein vibes but also a very unique take on this song that I really enjoyed!! Sleeping Sun is one of my top 3 Nightwish songs. Bravo!

I really liked how the song grew on me towards the end. At first it sounds a little strange as we are so used to the original (or Floor's version), but you guys really delivered a very interesting approach, with that industrial German vibe. Sounded to me a bit of how a Nightwish song would be if created by Till Lindemann. Good job.
Remember were all going through this and fuguring out how to survive and they're going about it in a fun and creative way here in the Midwest part of the USA people are starting up private studios in garages like the old days and selling there own demos on streets Music Will Never Die Metal Lives on Forever

Hey, as a german I used to listen to Rammstein a lot. Until I found some finnish band who knows a lot more about compositions, instruments and voice.
