Oh man that final footage of the ship being placed down made me think how cool that whole thing would be as a custom wireless phone charger. Place your phone down, lights turn on and it starts charging :o
Me and my 10 month old watch the boylei hobby time every Sunday morning! I have to say we both get a little giddy for Star Wars projects. Love this one!
Your skill as a craftsman is unreal. But your usage of led's in your builds truly elevates them to an entirely new level. I keep coming back to your videos because of the led's. Truly top tier youtube content, video's like this is what youtube should be about
Your content, skill, and creativity are always impressive, but you outdid yourself with your calming voice and naming the paint colors. You became the kit bashing Bob Ross.
This build is phenomenal! So simple but so well done. Looks outstanding, and the forethought to with the magnets in other potential ships is genius! 10/10 as always
Man, seriously, this is so beautiful. This is heart and soul of the galaxy far far away. I'm just imagining what kind of adventure this pilot is facing :) Thanks for sharing
What i like most about your modelmaking is that you use things that are, relativley, easy for the average modeler to have or aquire. Rarely a 3D printer in sight. My nearest hobby store is 6 hours drive away so most modeling has to be done with whats on hand.
This is absolutely gorgeous! The weathering was the most fun part, you absolutely nailed it. I'd love to see you do a sequel to this build sometime, maybe a U-wing or something with a different location along the seaside? Excited to see what's next!
This Is one of the best star wars dioramas I have ever seen. The Y-wing is really nicely done, but it's the landing pad, the rocks and lighting that makes it even better. With the water painted red to simulate lava and a Tie advanced or an imperial shuttle and you'd have a Mustafar diorama...
You are, absolutely, the KING of lighting. Amazing build, but seriously, the magnet idea is flipping genius and takes this to a galaxy far, far away. Brilliant.
Boylei is here & as always he brought Sunday with him. Accidental discovery = Eureka is a Game changer. Wündabar Mineral spirits are important, odorless even more so. Sometimes out of focus hands help for content. It's okay.
That's so great! I love how the Y-Wing engages the lights. You should make a phone charging base like that. Or an amazing Star Wars charging dock for your laptop!
This one was magical. I’m on my morning walk and the moment you placed the y wing on the platform and all the lights engaged…. This child like smile crept and then sprinted across my face!!! So so so cool. I need to try the magnet trick for my own projects now. ❤❤❤❤
Easily your best Star Wars build yet, love the rock painting technique!! The simplicity and smoothness of the magnetic lighting effect is just mind blowing, excited to see where you take it next!
Dang, C. I love your imagination. The compass-scoring trick on polystyrene is genius! Also, the washes on the rocks came out fantastic. Your lighting is as always... inspiring. Killer work!
Your skill set is just going from strength to strength. I love all your creations, but I’ve a soft spot for the old Y-wing, so this is magnificent to behold! Thanks for sharing.
Wonderfully creative. The hardest part for me is coming up with the idea of the display. You make it look so easy. Congrats on another beautiful build.
I gotta say my two favorite fighters of all the Star Wars fighters ships are the X-Wing and the Y-Wing, and you never see enough of the Y-Wing, so this was a great build my friend. And the rock formation paint is beautiful. That is also such a cool way you lit the landing pad up and braced it with the original stand it legit looks like it was meant to be used that way. 👍👍👍
Awesome project Boylei, always an inspiration. As always much to learn from your techniques, but also just great fun to sit back and watch and admire the results.
Reeeeally nice! The water turned out way better than I would have guessed what with all the poured resin water everyone does. I feel the Black 4.0 helps it feel dark and deep. Love the magnetic switches you've been using recently too. One day people are going to be UTTERLY baffled by how to turn them on and I think that's just wonderful
This looks absolutely amazing. I was into AirFix as a kid, so this brings back those memories of intricate paint brush detailing. Now, as a Star Wars Lego fan, I am very keen to replicate this in Lego form!
As I watched you making the little landing pad and door and such from scrap bits of whatever you had that looked neat, I couldn't help but feel deeply satisfied and proud of you continuing the traditions that made the original Star Wars sets in the first place. Almost every single SW set and prop and miniature was made using simple materials and random bits of industrial junk and leftovers that happened to be cheap and interesting to look at, and it is genuinely wonderful to see that process continued and made into such a wonderful result even in 2024 ^^ You're in my list of 'top three favorite modelling creators' on the internet, and this sort of project is exactly why ^^
That was awesome. I REALLY like how those rocks came out. As someone who painted rocks for Galaxy's Edge I appreciate the effort you put into the rocks.
You have definitely upped your painting game sine I first started watching your channel. It's good to see you continuing to learn and try new techniques.
LETS GOOOOO!!! This is an AwEsOmE build! I especially love the way you used the magnet to turn on the LEDS. And the paint job is great as always. Amazing work man!!!👌👍
It takes an expert craftsman to make a diorama look like it’s 1:1, and Boylei, you’re as good as Ive seen. Awesome build!
Best comment ever
this video is exactly why the original trilogy was the best, miniatures and special effects
Plot Twist, it is indeed 1:1 scale and Boylei is a jötunn.
Oh man that final footage of the ship being placed down made me think how cool that whole thing would be as a custom wireless phone charger. Place your phone down, lights turn on and it starts charging :o
Now that you mentioned it….that does sound really cool! 😄
might need him to make a diorama phone charger.
Boyel's narration is always friendly, relaxed and informal...clicking on his vids is always a chill experience. 👍
Bob Ross vibes
I play his videos to sleep. It works every time ❤
Boylei
Maybe the best Star Wars diorama you've ever made! I think it's one of my favorites and I would love to see more in a larger scale!
Me and my 10 month old watch the boylei hobby time every Sunday morning! I have to say we both get a little giddy for Star Wars projects. Love this one!
Love the oil washes on the rocks, those colours just look amazing! So natural :D
I love and hate how effortless you make this look.
Your builds continue to get more seamless each week. You’re a true craftsman in this field!
Dude! This is hands down my favourite Star Wars build so far! There's just something about a well painted Y-Wing. Great job, as always 👍

The Y-Wing is absolutely one of my favorite ships from the OT, and I love the paint job you gave it!! Great work man!! 🫡
This build is phenomenal! So simple but so well done. Looks outstanding, and the forethought to with the magnets in other potential ships is genius! 10/10 as always

as always. Toys become more beautiful and attractive than ever through your magical hands
I couldn't agree more... Those are the most realistic rock tones I've ever seen! Awesome job and great video!
This is absolutely gorgeous! The weathering was the most fun part, you absolutely nailed it. I'd love to see you do a sequel to this build sometime, maybe a U-wing or something with a different location along the seaside? Excited to see what's next!

What a genius idea to use the magnet under the model for switching the lights on and off.
You are, absolutely, the KING of lighting. Amazing build, but seriously, the magnet idea is flipping genius and takes this to a galaxy far, far away. Brilliant.
The Y-Wing was always my most favorite Star Wars fighter.
Boylei is here & as always he brought Sunday with him.

I love the idea of integrading magnets into the build to start the lights! The invisible switches make the whole project come togetehr so well
The things you think up for your models every week just blow me away. Thank you for sharing your craft!

Definitely saving this to reference the rock and lighting. The magnet switch really makes this come alive. I love that little extra bit of playability
The magnetic lights, while simple, are cool as hell!
Well done. Thanks for giving the Y-Wing some love.
Easily your best Star Wars build yet, love the rock painting technique!! The simplicity and smoothness of the magnetic lighting effect is just mind blowing, excited to see where you take it next!
I am always up for watching Boylei's videos no mater my mood he is always so calm and his art is amazing.
I am always in awe of how good your builds are. You do a great job of making it look effortless.
Outstanding video, build and presentation.
The compass scoring technique is an excellent discovery!
a compass 'with two pointy ends' ........ is called a set of dividers ..............
i dont have the words to describe how beautifully well done this is
It’s been cool to follow this guy for so long and seeing how he’s improving on an already great skill set.
Dang, C. I love your imagination. The compass-scoring trick on polystyrene is genius! Also, the washes on the rocks came out fantastic. Your lighting is as always... inspiring. Killer work!
That was awesome when them landing lights come on it actually made me smile.
Amazing! The oil wash part blew me away. Purple drops, then blue drops, then boom! Rock color.
That looks amazing!! The magnet light reveal was so good!!
The lights and sensor are a brilliant dynamic touch!
It was amazing to see the lights come on when you set the ship on the landing pad! And the rocks look really beautiful!
That magnet switch is great! Now I have an idea for my library shelf, thanks 😂!
the rock color scheme is *chefs kiss* - just amazing. just like the rest of the build and all your builds too. thanks for that video.
Very well done and an inspired diorama base for the Y-wing.
Very well done. Simple, clean but with a ton of details
I gotta say my two favorite fighters of all the Star Wars fighters ships are the X-Wing and the Y-Wing, and you never see enough of the Y-Wing, so this was a great build my friend. That is just fantastically gorgeous. I cannot stress enough how much enjoyment your videos bring every week. Thank you so much.
Awesome project Boylei, always an inspiration. As always much to learn from your techniques, but also just great fun to sit back and watch and admire the results.
Waouh!!!! Amazing build!!! New lighting system is just awesome!!! Always a pleasure to watch your video!!!
Y-Wing is one of the best vehicles in Star Wars.
truly inspirational work for all fanmodellers of the saga
I love watching these builds, they’re so cool and calming
Y-Wing, for some reason, has always been my favorite starfighter...I have no clue why... excellent dio. Thank you!
Twas not expecting to see today what is probably one of my favorite of your builds! Looks amazing.
It looks awsome!
Those are some of the most gorgeous rocks I've ever seen in a diorama. One of my favorite videos from you, wow!
This has gotta be some of the best work to come from this channel. The rock coloration is mildly mind-blowing. Superb diorama!
I am speechless. What a fantastic work.
Love the song throughout and cinematic choices made on this video. Thank you for another great build!
This looks absolutely amazing. I was into AirFix as a kid, so this brings back those memories of intricate paint brush detailing. Now, as a Star Wars Lego fan, I am very keen to replicate this in Lego form!
One of your best builds to date. Excellent. Love the rock texture and the overall lighting.
Love the resinless water! Honestly looks amazing
That belongs in a stop motion, looks flawless
Looks incredible B. I was surprised by how natural those rocks looked when you were done, all those very saturated reds and blues really worked!
Beautiful. I can look at your videos all day long.
Awesome 🤩
I love how the lighting can be turned on with interchangeable ships!
Jesus man.....I tried to draw a tree the other day and got so angry I had to lay down for 15 minutes. I'll just live creatively thru you.
Absolutely loving this one! Makes me want to see a Star Wars air base like seen in the Mandalorian filled with Y-wings, X-wings and other craft.
Those rocks and outcrops are definitely looking good! As usual, awesome work. The lighting adds so very much to the overall look!
You make this look so fun. Always enjoy watching your builds.
I love the colors on the rock formations! Great job!
Holy cow!! I loved every minute of this build but the reveal where you set the Y-wing down and the lights came on...chef's kiss* Love it!
I think this might be my favourite build yet. Beautiful work!
THAT is an amazing build. The colors are vibrant and convincingly real!
This looks fantastic. Well done.
Sensational work as always. My favorite Star Wars ship bar none! Thank you for sharing!!!!!
Incredible build! The rocks are absolutely beautiful. I'm pleasantly surprised with how good the mod-podge water looks too!

I really love the magnet - engaged lighting, it looks fantastic
Man the rocks on this one and just the whole vibe was on point!!
Nice shout out to Monster Party Wars, I love his builds too!
Another phenomenal build, love the star wars dioramas
This is one of my favorites thus far! Keep up the fantastic work, good sir!
Great build of course. I really like the magnetic lights. That’s a good touch.
Now that is beautiful ☕🥐👌💯😎🤗
Maybe my favorite one yet. Amazing finish
wow, just blew my mind introducing me to magnetic reed switches. you are on another level my friend!
I LOVE the way those rocks turned out! Your wash painting scheme really did the trick. The lights also really touched it off nicely.
Well done! I especially like the lighting on this one, and the paint is spot on.
That was awesome. I REALLY like how those rocks came out. As someone who painted rocks for Galaxy's Edge I appreciate the effort you put into the rocks.
Well done. Nice interactive use of the reed switch.
You have definitely upped your painting game sine I first started watching your channel. It's good to see you continuing to learn and try new techniques.
Great work!
Reeling off the colours for the oil washes it sounded like the start of joy of painting with Bob Ross. Excellent video as always
