I just bought it , i was skeptical at first because of the swivel air feeding since i use an air pressure gauge, as soon as i saw they actually listen to you and put a regular one I fell in love with it
Brian may have more subscriber's than you and I do like his channel but without you mate we wouldn't have any of these other RUclipsrs. You were the first and the original RUclips sprayer.. 👍👍
Great vid Gunnie, I have the Fuji turbine Q5, it's pretty awesome! Only problem I had was the PPS system type 24 adapter only available in 2.0 and the mini (170ml) cups I can only find in the UK are 1.0. Needed the mini cup as i have the side mounted G-XPC. 3M UK Support are a total waste of time I found! Had to order via states a 1.0 adapter to get what I wanted. Always a pleasure watching the master at work 👌
Yeah I saw those Fuji guns a while back, I think they also have one with a similar look to the Iwata WS400 don’t quote me, I also saw Brian using that turbine unit , looks like it did the job. Another great channel I found is called Pete’s Hobbies he is fortunate to be able to buy a good variety of quality spray guns and does a lot of side by side comparisons although mostly on motorbike tanks for his videos and also has a different style to spraying .
Have to second the plug to Pete's Hobbies, he's a great spray painter really knows what he's doing but as mentioned his spraying style is somewhat different to most but it just proves there is no wrong way to paint so long as the results are what's needed, I'm similar to Pete but I do my stuff on car wings and like him I have a good selection of guns but test different clearcoats and colours. All my work is on Instagram.
What’s up gunman. I just got one of these guns 💪. Me and another painter ordered direct from Fuji, special deal for 799 for 2 guns. No tax. Def a deal 👍
That's a nice looking gun and have seen it a few times here in the UK, you have the skill to get a first class finish with any gun no matter the quality or price but like you said in the video the high end guns can sometimes benefit the beginner more as they can be easier to use. John UK
Very tru gunman what you said a mid range gun nothing to expensive would help a novice to improve in his spraying as I found out my self thank you for the review stay safe gunman
Maybe you should look into the Walcom motivated painters edition to test, so far everyone is loving it! Nice big fan, couple of other big painters are really liking it. Maybe we can get them to send you one so you can review it! Great job, and like always your info is great. Nice to shout out Brian. You, Brian, and multiple others on you tube is where all my experience comes from. Thanks to all of you, from the heart!✊🤝.
Yet another top video from the pro!well done! Could you please elaborate on what you ment when you said your apprentice struggled when using the flg 5 please i know you mentioned struggled to get full wet coats was he loosing the wet edge, not getting enough material onto the job etc... Love your work im a fellow painter but i mostly paint boats and the occasional car and have learnt so much from your videos they have helped me advance dramatically in my trade so i would like to say thank you keep it up.
I just got a atom x27 and it sprays just as good if not better than my sata jet. But like with all sata products you have to be fast or it doesn't work right. I got the first thing I sprayed to lay down like glass.
Yea was gona say Brian Paint Society did a vid on the turbine system. I click on it out of interest. Kool things but would have to use one. Be killa to see them send Gunny one for a review. 👍
As a hobbyist, my main concerns when looking at spray guns are can my single stage 60 gal compressor run it enough for a total respray. Often times it can't push the fast guns like a Gti. The FLG5 and similar guns are still going to be ideal for at home where CFM is limited to 10-12cfm.
My screw compressor will keep up. Most people don't have a large enough cfm to properly use an hvlp. Hvlp has nothing to do with additional fluid it means higher volume of air or cfm.
@@davidroberts2404 I'm aware of all that. Not sure of your point as it lacked relevancy.. How many hobbyists are going to have a screw compressor?? 🤷🏻♂️ Gunny mentioned that his apprentice struggled with a gun that's usually suggested to a hobbyist due to CFM concerns.
gunman , need some help. Looking at a iwata kiwami4 .Looking to do base colors and clear high solids. Im at home with 80 gal two stage wondering what you thought of the gun and what air cap would be ideal . Thanks in advance!
I spray turbine . It’s very efficient but runs with warm air. The turbine warms the air as it compresses it. Not the fastest system but very convenient …

Don’t buy the Fuji turbine, I had the Q5 and it’s awful…. Ok for spraying large areas, but woeful on details. Also the guns massively uncomfortable to hold. Honestly not a good system
@@prestonrushmore9692 to each their own. The Gunman could lay down perfection with a Windex bottle! He is GOD of the gun.
🤣🤣🤣
Watched the video from Brian recommended by you.
Looks like a great way of spraying a car without using a compressor!
Clean and simple !
I just bought it , i was skeptical at first because of the swivel air feeding since i use an air pressure gauge, as soon as i saw they actually listen to you and put a regular one I fell in love with it
Beginner so I bought an Iwata to make it easier for me. Nice shoutout to 'Don't overthink it' Brian

I also wanna say that eastwood makes a turbine sprayer as well they are pretty cool

I love the Fuji guns, the air less or turbine systems are more for lacquers or varathane for finishing cabinets and furniture.

Turbine sprayer are only meant for furniture, spraying doors etc. where you can take the sprayer to the job.

Great videos!! I wish you would do a review on the black widow gun from harbor freight. The hte sprays pretty good.
is this a good gun for clear coat? is a good investment? Thanks
Love your videos ✌💪
Hey Gunny, If you want to look at a turbine sprayer try the 'Graco FinishPro HVLP 9.5 Procomp'. It's a far more sophisticated sprayer than the Fuji.
Hey Gunman! what do you think of Walcom
Spray guns? I would love for you to review them ;)
He has reviewed them.
Is the Fuji system the same as what the guys in the touch up vans use?…. As there equipment seems to do a great job with out to much over spray..
Yep most mobile guys use 5 stage units from Fuji or the likes

Where can I find it?
There's a few links in the description. Links to Fuji's website, no doubt you'll be able to find your local distributor from there.
Its cost how much is
I don't think they're available anymore, but I get all my guns from SpraygunsDirect.co.uk they ship fast worldwide and have competitive prices
👍👍👍
I meant for the price I prefer the ani
Good point
Gun lays thick with so slowly tempa. Its hard to make cool gun like Prolite however)
I prefer the Ani f160
😍😍😍👍
Yup it’s pricey indeed!

Anytning made in Taiwan is good quality. Taiwan makes some of the worlds best items. Its stuff from Thailand and China that are crap
I thought Taiwan was in China but geography isn't my best subject Lol.
