This is driving me crazy so I'd be grateful for your help! In the soundbar app under "Sound Settings" why is "Dialog Control" greyed out/unusable? It says it only supports DTS X. Well the USC9S DOES support DTS X - it's even written on the soundbar! So why is Dialog Control greyed out?
I have the LG soundbar app for USC9S. I can't add the soundbar to the Thinq app. It says no products found, then can only add products made after 2024. The USC9S is advertised as a 2024 model and was manufactured in May 2024. How do I add it to the Thinq app? Thanks! We have no LG support like your channel in the UK!
I have a C4 connected to a USC9S - same soundbar as in the video. In the app under "Sound Settings" the "Dialog Control" is greyed out - unusable. Why is that? @@hegtmsathanks for your support and your video. I live in the UK. I bought the C4 and USC9S direct from LG on their website. After sales is none exist. Customer service is the worst I've experienced. They either hang up or say the department is busy. Funny how the department was NOT busy BEFORE I bought the TV and soundbar because they hadn't got my money and wanted to sell the products! Advice to people in the UK - buy from Richer Sounds or John Lewis. Do NOT buy directly from LG.
Wow cast is wireless lossless audio, providing true Dolby Atmos wirelessly. It eliminates the need for earc usage. Wow orchestra is tv and soundbar speaker playing simultaneously, this is only applicable when you connect via earc port
@@hegtmsa I connect using Wowcast in sound settings. Then, under the sound settings of using TV speaker and Soundbar together I get the choice of Wowcast Wow Orchestra or just standard Wow Orchestra. Wowcast Wow Orchestra is in the same place in the menu where you show standard Wow Orchestra. Wowcast Wow Orchestra only shows up in that menu once I've connected via Wowcast. Wowcast in addition to connecting my soundbar wirelessly without earc also gives me the option of Wowcast Wow Orchestra using TV and soundbar at the same time. If you connect the soundbar using Wowcast first then go to the menu where Wow Orchestra is you'll see what I mean - 2 wow orchestra options 1. Standard Wow Orchestra you demonstrate 2. Wowcast Wow Orchestra
The QNED81 will be able to support wow orchestra, this feature gets enabled when connecting a compatible LG soundbar. The LG SP8A won’t support and personally do not recommend the SC9S with the QNED81, this soundbar was specifically made for the OLED C range. Rather look into the S95 similar price point compared to the SC9S
@@hegtmsa just curious why or how a soundbar like SC9S can affect the experience for LG QNED model and only work with OLED TV? My living room is 300 sq ft and extends a bit more about 150 sq ft to left (now I wish I could attach a diagram of floor plan)
@@cr8xtremeCaRnAgE Hey Carnage, the reason I say it's made specifically for the OLED C Series is because the SC9S comes with a bracket designed to be installed with the OLED. This bracket isn't compatible with the QNED81.
@@hegtmsa oh that's it right, I was wondering if it's got something to do with sound quality. I don't mind the soundbar placed the tv unit. So in that case I believe I can go ahead with SC9S
@@hegtmsa yes, my TV have, But not able to output the sound with HDMI and tv speaker, only can choose output the sound with Optical and Tv speaker… The port mentioned “HDMI earc/ARC”, but when I connect with hdmi cable, it only “HDMI Arc” on the tv screen.. not “HDMI earc”… Is it the HDMI cable’s problem ? Or Some other issue ?
@@hegtmsa I can hear voice out, but without wow system. The LG customer service in my country informed me the TV only has wow interface, not wow orchestra function… that’s why it doesn’t support
Why is it mind-blowing? Its adding more voice by adding the 2 TV speakers, but its not changing or enhancing sound in general through all speakers, so how is it mind blowing?
Mind blowing in the fact that there isnt any delay in syncing of speakers, no fuss around audio clarity when watching action packed films, ease of listening without having to adjust the audio frequently. In the end mind blowing for me, might not be mind blowing for you. Each to they own I guess

The standard Surround Sound Setting is "Off" for the USC9S soundbar. Is it better to turn it on in the Soundbar app?

I have 55" LG C4 and compatible USC9S in your video. I don't have WOW ORCHESTRA as an option in the SOUND OUT settings. All software up to date.

Only when soundbar is attached will Wow Orchestra appear in Sound Settinfs

This is correct btw. It will so Arc Device, when on Arc with hdmi are you not receiving audio?
