Hi. Thats correct, I have mounted thousands of TVs this way, but I'll always check the wall before I start. Sometimes I cant use them. So always know your wall before you start.
@@oslotvmontering Hi do you mind to tell me what gap is left between the tv and the wall? I'm thinking to make an embedded power socket behind the telly to avoid exposed cables
Hi. Yes, thats true. Well done for noticing. I do several mountings every day so sometimes I just dont feel like changing the drill tip for using the stud. Still 100% safe to use the double plaster instead. 👍
Do you think it is possible to use exactly this wall bracket, but not to press it directly against the wall, but to leave it extended by 2-3 cm? The question is because I have sockets behind the TV on the wall and so the TV can't be pressed against the wall? Thank you for answering
Hi. Yes. I had to do that on this mounting because of some wire issues behind the TV: ruclips.net/video/qKDKV9PTuJw/видео.html&lc=UgyzZBzUCEyV2YFNgP54AaABAg The end result in that video the TV is 2-3cm from the wall.
Great video... I have the G4 and DSG10TY soundbar on my wishlist... Before I buy this set I want to put drain pipe in my wall for all cables. What is the best place for the hole? And also with the DSG10TY soundbar? Is there some sort of plan available for this which I can use?
Hi. Thanks. I always recommend to first buy and mount the G4 and soundbar, and then make the hole in the wall after. Then you can see where the holes need to be and the size of the hole. If you put the holes in the wrong place before mounting, the Tv will not be flushed with the wall. Thats why i recommend this way.
Thanks for the video. I'm getting my G4 next week. One question: when the TV was hanging, did you click two more brackets behind it? What are they for?
Does the Samsung S95D get closer to the wall and produce a better look? Also, I'm guessing if you want to hide the cables in the wall, its much more difficult with the G4 than the OneConnect box and the hole in the wall has to be in a specific place right?
@@oslotvmontering Really? So there is space for wires to be routed between the TV and the wall for both LG and Samsung? I thought the TV sat flush against the wall.
@@oslotvmontering Thank you for the confirmation. I did a bit more research, and apparently, the North American version of the LG G4 does not come with slim wall mount for their 55" and 65" models. 'Tis a shame. You have to buy it separately, and stock can be scarce.
As a professional TV sales and mounting installer, this hurt my eyes! Why go through all the trouble to mount a TV and then leave 4 ugly wires coming out of the bottom? Further, the zip anchors ar far superior to those grey things and have a higher weight support rating but maybe they don't sell them in Norway.
Hi. For me there is not trouble to mount a TV. I do it all the time. A professional would always first mount the LG-series on the wall and do the wires after. Only then the Tv will be flushed against the wall. Many to this mistake. In Norway there are very strict rules for hiding wires in the wall so you need to be an certified electrician to do that here, I am not that, that also makes it very expensive so most people dont do it here. As a professional I have checked out zip anchors but those grey things are way far better in my opinion. They hold more weight, are safer and are very easy to take out after use.
