For the best viewing experience with your LG G4 77" TV, the ideal mounting height places the center of the screen at eye level when seated. Typically, this means the bottom of the TV should be around 24 to 30 inches off the floor, depending on your seating height. ~Nancy
Hey the video doesn’t show that did the guy use the anchors to install the bracket and do I need to find the studs before installing the mount and do I need to use the anchors in a stud or just screw it in without the anchors ?
Thank you so much for reaching out! We’re excited to help you with your OLED TV mount installation. To get started, you'll want to use a stud finder to locate the wooden studs in your wall for a secure mount. If you're mounting on wooden studs, you can screw the mount directly into the studs. However, if you're mounting on drywall without studs, be sure to use anchors for extra stability. Once you've located your spots, drill holes based on the anchor specifications, or use pilot holes if mounting into studs. Finally, align the wall mount bracket with the studs or anchors and fasten it securely with the appropriate screws. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out to us @LGUSSupport-we’re happy to assist! ^Anthony

Hey there. Most LG TVs, including the G4 series, typically use M6 or M8 screws for wall mounting. The M6 screw has a diameter is 6.0 millimeters (mm), and the pitch diameter is 5.350 mm. The clearance hole size is 6.5 mm, and the fine thread pitch is 0.75 mm. The M8 screw has a diameter is 8.0 mm, and the pitch diameter is 7.188 mm. The clearance hole size is 9 mm, and the fine thread pitch is 1.0 mm. The numbers on screws, like M6 or M8, refer to the screw's diameter, with higher numbers indicating larger diameters. How the F can you market and sell a stunning TV and not make it clear to prospective customers that if one wants to wall-mount the unit, the mount is not included, is proprietary and a third-party VESA mount won't do? Furthermore, no one seems capable of providing the part number for it. First world problem here, but I have a customer that has a huge TV sitting on their living room floor. No one is happy.

@@LGUSASupport Thanks for the incredibly fast reply Anthony. And very pleased to read (and see on the TV) that it's VESA. Sadly the quick start guide does not reference a VESA install
Glad the VESA compatibility is clear now. We’ll be sure to pass along your note about the quick start guide-definitely something worth tightening up for clarity. If you need anything else, just holler! 📺👍~Nancy
What's the ideal height to mount a G4 77" for seated viewing? How far off the floor should the bottom of the TV be, ignoring furniture and such?

Are the included screws long enough for use in studs behind plaster and lath walls (about 1" thick)? If not, what size screws should I get?
