For those who may not know. When you go multiple screens into the all settings menu just hold back to exit the menu instead of pushing back 6 times.
How do you see combination of Disney+ and RUclips? It shows several combinations but not happens to see any home’s app and hdmi.

I was hoping someone would finally say that the 4 color buttons actually had a use and not just for looks
a lot if apps use them, eg youtube, yellow us search and double tap yellow is search with voice, wich works great.
Dear Dev R Grub, the red button can be used to start HbbTV services when watching a TV programme that support HbbTV. The coloured buttons can also be used when using Teletext. Also in some TV menus the coloured buttons are shown as a shortcut to specific functions.

@@LGSAE cant you allow the color buttons to be programmable? There are many people who would want to have 1-click shortcuts for, for example, Screen Off and Reduce Blue Light. Some TVs allow this under the Accessibility menu.

Thank you! The disable input no signal picture I could not find anywhere else. I try hard not to wake my kids up when I play late and the default image for no signalnis blindingly bright lighting up the whole room 😂

Is there a quick way to change audio language of a show that we are watching without going into the settings?
On my old tv I could just push one button on the remote and pick an audio track
It should be possible to have lights on the buttons when you are in a dark mode to see what you are pressing at least for 10 seconds or so

How do I turn off and on the set top box with the new magic remote. My old magic remote had a button specifically to turn off and on the set-top box, thank you.
For my Verizon / Frontier Cable provided box, I press the " . . . " button under the 9 and the more actions menu opens and one of the options to choose is Power. I have the box as HDMI input 1
The new system has some issues...
1- the Home just opens in full screen except when Tv turns on for some seconds, i prefer this short version insted of fullscreen...maybe an option to change between them is a good one.
2- the shortcut app buttons on controller like globoplay, netflix, etc.. FORCES to install the app if is not installed, and has no way to break this operation so any miss click on this bittons takes off the app or channel then takes a time to uninstall fron TV again...
A solution is a confirmation to instal the desired app or the option to change the app to open on this buttons.
3- the sugestion contents sometimes sucks, this causes Tv startup to be more slowly... There might be a way to disable this.
where did the "Play" and "Pause" button go?? Can they be configured instead of one of the predefined apps buttons?

That was the biggest mistake from LG....

Dear customer, if you mean the audio language, press the button with the 3 dots, then scroll down in the menu and select 'Audio Language'. Is there way to define any app to any app button? Example, when I press Netflix button, RUclips will start up instead. ??
I would like to suggest lg that - make the wheel usable only for making video up down and give adjacent button to push/play/ok.
That wheel gets break always or sometimes or the other.
So my remote wheel was broken then i did a small whole besides wheel and put in a whole a small plastic stick in a way that can't be easily moved, for pressing ok button. Now without wheel I am using remote finely.

Hi all, I'm looking for a quick button to turn screen off. Just like the quick access for apps, but with one button to do that or any other quick configuration. And I don't mean the quick configuration editable access on left side of screen.

The „three dots“ menu is awfully designed… the most used options like switching audio track and subtitles are placed on the very bottom with no way to edit the order. Further there's no „go back“ option so for each setting one needs to recall the menu. To say something good, I like the option to switch on/off virtually any remote controllable device like a stereo with the magic remote. Setting this up is awkward but once set works flawlessly (the corresponding option appears in the three dots menu).
I have a slightly different magic remote and I love it.. But the module on the TV keeps on failing and I keep having to pull the power lead from the tv

Dear customer, it is not possible to edit the shortcut buttons at the bottom, but you can create a shortcut to RUclips under one of the number buttons (1-8). This is explained at 1:07 in this video (the Quick Access function).

Is there an option to program a different button to be “okay” or “select”? It is hard for me to press the roller wheel without navigating to something else (accessibility issue). Programming a regular button would be helpful.

If you already have the latest Magic Remote, there is nothing to do about this, but be aware that the OK/scroll button on the latest Magic Remote has been improved compared to older Magic Remote models. If you have an older Magic Remote, it might be an option to purchase the latest Magic Remote (it's backwards compatible to 2017 TV models or later). you could try the remote control screen in the LG phone app, just a tap. You could get a little wireless charging phone stand. Then turn off sleep/screensaver/auto-lock screen on your phone. Open the app before you watch TV so its always open beside you while you're watching TV. Of course, you can also use voice commands with the magic remote's microphone button, or buy a cheap Echo to use for voice control. Useful for volume control when you're in another room. You might be able to literally verbatim tell magic remote microphone button to "press OK", I haven't conformed this. Remember to google the question, many other peeps also have this issue with wobbly fingers.

Dear Nikola Tomic, there is no shortcut directly on the remote, but if you have a 2020 (webOS5.0) or later TV model, you can add a shortcut to Screen Off in the Quick Settings menu (the menu which appears when you shortly press the settings button on the remote).

On one of your streaming apps, like SLING, RUclips, etc. you have options of using a DVR in their cloud. Works quite well. Youj get a certain amouint free on SLING. For a snall fee you can extend the time a lot.
How to scroll between the active apps like the old version ? Holding the home button partly does it but i want to see whats working in the background..:(

Dear Dude, there is no 'one button' option for this. The quickest way is to shortly press the settings button (the Quick Settings button appear), then select the Sound button to change the sound output.
i just press the mute button on the remote. the sound still comes through the optical. i have it set to optical + TV Speaker
Whenever I change any setting in the advanced settings option of picture and audio, then that setting vanishes away in a few moments, even when I click on Apply on all inputs. This problem persists even when I change the program.

For example if your TV is in Dolby Vision HDR mode and you change advanced settings, these changes only apply within the Dolby Vision HDR mode. LG TV's doesn't runt on Android. So you'll not gonna have access to Google Play Store.
How do I make it beep or flash if can’t find the remote??? ROKU used to be able to beep a remote to find… now when you goto that menu it tells you which remote you can order from roku to work with your device. No sign of that find my remote feature

shows intentionally slowly ramp the volume down so it makes commercials louder in comparison. Their hope is that you will raise the volume , so then you can hear their ads from the kitchen or bathroom when you get up.
there is a 60% volume reducer feature in settings>general>family settings

Hello, i need help, my LG smart tv started loosing connection with the magic remote. It became hard to scroll or select OK button but all other buttons work. The wifi and bluetooth no longer work.I tried to reset the remote control by pressing the Home and settings buttons and since then it has never reconnected. When i press other buttons like the mic button it prompts me to press the ok button/ wheel button to pair the magic remote but when i press it nothing happens. I tried the remote with another LG TV and they paired. How would you help.

Dear customer, it is not possible to change the Rakuten shortcut button, but you can create your own shortcut button to RUclips under one of the number buttons (1-8) as show at 01:07 in this video.

And how to make it so that if I was on 1 channel when I shut off my TV and press another channel's number button to switch to the pressed channel and not to the one that the TV was shut off to ?
Tune to your preferred Chanel and hold down a number from 1 to 9 for a few seconds on the remote. Then you can start the TV and open that Chanel by simply short pressing this number.
You may have to play with instant on feature in energy settings.

Do you have any idea why voice control is not allowing me to change tv channels?
When I try to change channel with voice control, a pop up message appears every time which says I have to set my postcode. My postcode is already set in my account details and also in the tv channel settings which is where it takes me when I click on the message. I’ve tried inputting my postcode again, repeatedly, many times and the pop up postcode message appears every time I try to change tv channel by voice control. I phoned LG but they were unable to help me.

One more important information request team.... I am currently using UM7780 Jazz 4K MODEL purchased in dec 2021 But i m not able to update IT OS as it always shows not available how to do that kindly inform as my friend also has same model but updated OS version
Dear customer, if a software update is released, this is done in batches, not for all TV's at the same time. If your friend's TV has received an update recently, it could be that your TV will follow later (if it is the exact same model, in the same region/country). Also, depending on your region/country, TV software might be published on your local LG website. In this case you can download the software and update the TV via a USB device. Can someone help? I'll try to explain best I can. Im new to OLED, I'd like to know if you aim the pointer for e.g, too far up or too far down into the screen - is it supposed to mess up / misallign the direction of the arrow? So even when I next point it to the middle of the screen while holding remote dead straight, the arrow kinda ends up anywhere but the middle unless I turn the pointer arrow off & on so it resets to normal. I hate it
Dear customer, this is how the Magic Remote works. When you turn on the TV, the pointer will start in the middle of the screen. After that, the Magic Remote detects when you move the remote relative to the starting position, but it cannot detect if it is pointing at the TV screen (it does not 'know' the location of the screen). This is similar to using a mouse on a PC, when you move the mouse pointer far 'outside' the screen and then move the mouse pointer back to the middle of the screen, the mouse itself will be at a different position on the desk.
just move the remote pointer to push off the side of the screen. try it, it resets the position. i find i sometimes have to do this several times when using the remote.
Very hard to press the middle enter button when you have long nails. Is there another option to press enter?
You could cut your nails since long nails is disgusting anyway.

Dear customer, it is not possible to customize the bottom buttons. You could programme one of the number buttons to directly go to the HDMI input on which the Fire Stick is connection, as described in the following video: ruclips.net/video/eXj2E4Eo8Qo/видео.html
Try long-pressing a number between 1 and 8 when watching your favourite firestick app, it may save it. It only works with some apps ie youtube. In the firestick settings I believe there is a setting to remember last app used, which may work if number trick doesn't work.
