This fix really works. I found this while looking for a video to open the remote. As he said start from the bottom to pry open. Then try to feel the locking points going up on both sides. U can use a thin blunt breakfast knife. I didn’t have any tools so heated a needle and it goes through quickly. Thanks a lot for the video!!!
Thanks for the idea. I added a tissue paper at the back part of the wheel, the empty section. It does not allow the wheel to roll but at least supports it. We can still scroll using the left right up down section.
Thanks for the tip, it seems that’s what my remote needs. Just an improvement on the connection. The issue is I have to push down really hard to get it to do anything. And since it’s probably the most important button on the remote I can’t ignore it

That button won't last long this way, this remote is costly but you don't need to buy the same remote again, simple remotes are also available in the market @ Rs 150/- only

Gleich will not work, you can use a Seminar diameter nail or pin to heat up and use it make the hole instead of Drill.

You can use a hot needle or nail with same diameter to make a hole.

Toothpick is still going strong since I have repaired it. Before I used the PETG 3d printed one, which unfortunately did not last even one week.
