The prices are good, and the amount you get is nice. I have had many restaurants that once they get popular would jack the price up and lower the amount given. I wish I lived close by to try this place out.

Is soul food just combining two things people tend to love that you’d otherwise think shouldn’t go together, like chicken and waffles, which sounds amazing. For me, soul food might be a pizza-flavored lager.

When I finally discovered that I likes stuffing, it became the highlight of every Thanksgiving because I damn sure son’t like turkey. Too dry. Why can’t we just roast a chicken or something? It’s fine most years because I’ll crush some ham.
Say what you will about the state of New Jersey, i live in neighboring Pennslyvania, I have traveled this nation, and New Jersey IMO has some of the best food spots in the nation.
As a cook i enjoyed watching someone enjoy a nice dish. lol, who would've thought. Im always asking "How was it" and getting verbal reviews; I would love to watch someone enjoy my food this way.. lol smh
buffalos is one of those places on my must try king schratz places....along with los pockets...bloom chicken....wang wang super taco and the wawa schratz sub i have yet to order.

They don’t even consider themselves a soul Food restaurant. They say “Southern Style” which is a far stretch too. I live a few blocks away and I wouldn’t consider them a soul food restaurant either. They don’t have majority of what would be considered a soul food restaurant. Paula’s in Hackensack is more of a soul food restaurant. Don’t get me wrong. Buffalos is good but not would food. No candied yams, collard greens, potato salad, etc. I have to go to Newark. East orange, Maplewood to get some good southern style food. Or when I’m back in my hometown of NYC, I get it from there
King said towards the end of the video it was gonna be hard but he gives it away to family or certain location of people in need of food 💯❤😁. King never throws away food and rarely keeps any for himself. 😊
