Last month I got my 2023 Supra A91 6MT (cu later grey). It feels absolutely engaging and so much fun to drive. With that said I know I am slightly slower than the automatic because no human can shift faster than the ZF8. I live in Orange County, California and it's not my daily nor would I want it to be my daily with how bad traffic can sometimes get. It's my weekend, canyon fun, date night and meeting clients car. If it's this much fun manual, like you said anyone buying an automatic who doesn't understand the power, will get in a lot of trouble or underestimate. Lastly the seats, alcantara shift knob and small touches in the A91 make it feel more premium. My biggest complaint owning a Supra? Every dumb Hellcat and Mustang owner on the road wants to race me or revs me up thinking I'm 21 years old trying to prove my manhood. Gets old very fast

2020s haven't dropped at all so they're holding they're value pretty well. Less u wanna take the risk of buying a wrecked one it'll be awhile before they ever touch 30k.

As much as I want the manual, I live in California.. Bay Area to be exact and with the traffic we have I may have to get the automatic. I plan on daily driving the Supra and the traffic out here is ridiculous man I might as well play it safe lol.
Yeah I’ve seen this beat a GT500 with only a down pipe and tune. Best bang for your buck.
Not the 2020+ gt500. The older gens, yes. At least from what I've seen anyway.
@@davothegreat9990 Yes, it was a stock 2021 GT500 and spun until 3rd gear. With better tires it would be a better race but the weight difference is just too much. I don't think folks pay attention to that. GT500 is one of my favorite cars, so I was hurt when I saw it lol

Some people seem to think that 100% BMW would be a step up....except for those who have owned out-of-warranty BMWs and experienced their bad reliability. I think I'd take a Toyota-massaged BMW over a full-blown BMW for long-term ownership, any day.
I am in the Supra 3.0 MT market since Jan 2023. I looked all over the country (US) for it. So far, I have a deposit in San Francisco Toyota for $62K (not including taxes and title) could be til 2024 of waiting. Some dealerships are asking $70K to $87K (not including taxes and title) for the manual transmission. 😢
That’s absolutely insane, the greed of these dealers will be there downfall
I’m 5’5” and I’m perfectly fit inside, but I still feel cramped lol.
I’m the same height as you and it felt absolutely perfect to me. Not too much space, not too little space. Still concussed my head getting in, though.

Good video. However, the title is misleading, this is NOT an under $60k car. In the REAL WORLD this is around $70k car. Dealers have a mark-up on these everywhere. The MSRP is around $62k, and with the dealer mark-up, out the door this is a $70kish car. And special edition like the 45th Anniversary is like $80k car (in the real world).

Take a look at the M240i. Close in price and performance. Plus you can get the 240 in rwd or awd

@@originaltruths2305 I actually liked the MK4 Supra’s understated looks. No fake aggression. To be fair; by today’s standard, it’s a soft car and slower than an Ecoboost mustang, stock.
I rented a GR Supra on vacation and stared at it for a long time. At some angles it’s simply ugly, even without factoring in fake vents. 😢 But amazing motor and chassis.
