Why not Pokémon Mansion for Kanto? It's a broken-down laboratory that's filled with dangerous Poison types, and where Mewtwo was presumably made. Only Burglars and Scientists dare to remain there.
I guess the idea was that nobody has reason to actually go there, while people still have to go through Rock Tunnel, not just picnickers and mountaineers
Idk. Considering it's a requirement to get the key before entering the gym instead of the riddle thing they did in the anime. I would argue the power plant is the most dangerous. Electrodes blowing up and outstanding most pokemon, loose wires and electricity sparking around everywhere.
I’d argue that one (potentially) dangerous area in Galar would be glimwood tangle. It’s a forest that is filled with large trees to the point of basically perpetual darkness that in real life would probably be pretty easy to get lost into. There’s also a lot of pokemon there that evolve into genuinely dangerous pokemon like Hattrem/Hatterene, Trevenant, Shiinotic (check the dex entries if you don’t believe me) and Morgrem/Grimmsnarl. We only find their pre-evolved forms there but if they live there, their evolved forms would certainly live there too (and again, in a place where you would be in basically complete darkness).
doesn't bricen's gym risk you falling off to the great beyond? also gordie/melody's gym also has you falling into deep pits too (seriously what the hell is up with these gym leaders)
@lightyoshiman at least with Bryce gordie and melody there's a chance they coulda cushioned the bottom so you aren't hurt. Being shot outta cannons into steel walls though? Yeah skylas vile
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Whirl Islands for Johto, bunch of whirlpools likely to send people straight to davy jones' locker. If you get past the whirlpools there's a tricky to navigate dark cave, and if you manage to get past that you encounter a legendary pokemon that was said to be so powerful it purposely hid itself away from civilisation as to not accidentally hurt people and pokemon
The water also contains Tentacruel that can be higher levelled than Pokémon in your team, and high chance of spawning Tentacool that can confuse and poison your team. You need an electric (or electric and steel) type or a psychic type here.
some other areas to consider: -derelict structures such as the Pokemon Mansion, abandoned Kanto Power Plant, and Burned Tower in Ecruteak -places associated with destructive events in history or in legend, such as the Lake of Rage or the Tapu Village -hideouts of known dangerous criminal gangs such as the Celadon Game Corner, Veilstone Galactic HQ, not sure if Team Skull is actually dangerous enough for Po Town to count here
You took points off Cerulean Cave for being restricted, it is illegal to enter Area Zero, I feel like you should also count that the only way to get in is via Koraidon or Miraidon, which only 2 exist in the present times I'd say the Polar Biome deserves the most dangerous gen 9 area so far, harsh climate, strong pokémon, and they let children into it.
I would’ve said Cinnabar Island for Kanto, since it’s sitting atop an active volcano that destroys the town between games. I’d also have said the Whirl Islands for Johto, since as the name implies, they’re surrounded by massive whirlpools. Even if you somehow safely get past the whirlpools, the caves are pitch black and go very deep underground. And that’s not accounting for the Lugia that lives at the deepest level of the cave…
Other candidates for Alola's most dangerous location could be also the Haina desert, where it's easy to get lost, it's a pretty harsh environment and there's an actual side quest about rescuing a trainer who got lost and was about to die dehydrated. Not to mention it's also the location of Tapu Bulu's temple and it's heavily stated how the Tapus despite being guardians are also very dangerous. Another dangerous place is the abandoned Megamart, which was destroyed by Tapu Bulu himself and is now full of Ghost types, not to mention the site of an island trial challenge against a totem Pokemon, so a place where only Captains and trainers who are in the middle of their island trials are allowed to go. And since we're in it I'd put as honorable mentions all trial locations in Alola for the aforementioned reason Lastly, Poni Canyon is also stated to be very dangerous with only very experienced trainers daring to go there
Cinnabar Island is a volcano that canonically erupts between the events of Gen 1 and 2. Even if you wait until after it erupts and is *probably* dormant, the remaining landscape isn't exactly "hospitable" anymore.
My vote johto has to be Route 47. I’m running off the headcanon that route 47 in the remakes was previously just untouched land that got only recently built for the new, still-in-construction safari zone.. all non flying type pokemon that follow you mention how they’re scared of the heights.. the rickety bridges, and it’s age shows with the embedded tower literally built by an ancient tribe from hoenn, according to the flavor text.
Also, I might be crazy but I feel the most dangerous area in unova is Undella Town, specifically in BW2. After reading Jellicent’s dex entries about sinking ships and the like, it’s not exactly comforting to see one floating around as a static encounter. Not only is it bold enough to show its face after atrocities like that, you also probably couldn’t do much to fight it alone considering it’s a ghost type. Then there’s the marine tube… which I really hope is reinforced well, considering we see wailords swimming by casually like it’s nothing. Also, the game realistically has to minimize certain locations for gameplay reasons, so I can only imagine what the actual walking distance from Undella to Humilau actually is. Due to how drastically different the geography between the 2 areas are, I feel like it’s at least 30 minutes to an hour of walking side by side to tons of water Pokémon that could cause any amount of disaster. If sharks can bite our wifi cables, i don’t see why a school of huntail couldn’t break into a glass tube out of boredom
I would debatably add northern sinnoh as a dangerous location because both the protagonists and Maylene are inappropriately dressed for their surroundings
For Galar I would’ve put the Crown Tundra, specifically Snowslide Slope. It’s a cold, snowy area at a presumably high altitude, with an incline perfect for avalanches. Already very dangerous for anyone who doesn’t come prepared. While one of the caves might have made more sense in terms of environmental threats, there’s one more thing I forgot to mention: Snowslide Slope is, to my knowledge, the only location in the main series games where you can naturally encounter a wild Metagross. Y’know, the BIG CARNIVOROUS SUPERCOMPUTER that can easily outpace a human running at full speed(even if that person isn’t being hindered by snow), is smart enough to not fall for things that might get other aggressive Pokémon off your back, and has access to a variety of ways to initiate your magical girl transformation into a corpse. “Well maybe it’d be chill” in-game that thing attacks on sight and if you aren’t on your bike and don’t react fast enough to the aggro noise you WILL get into battle with it because it moves faster than you run. That’s grounds to assume the Metagross is aggressive. Sure, Hydreigon is scary and you can find one in one of the caves in the Crown Tundra, but a fairy type(or decently trained Pokémon with a good fairy type move) could potentially handle it if you’re lucky, or you could try to find a crevice it can’t reach you in and wait it out. But like, realistically? If a Metagross has decided someone’s life is over, I don’t think there’s much the average person can really do about it! There’s no outwitting it, and unless you’re an elite trainer or happen to be prepared for this exact circumstance, there’s probably no overpowering it either- unlike the local hydra it has no glaring weakness to leverage against it. Just running away isn’t going to work because it’s faster and can hover over obstacles that would slow you down, and odds are you can’t hide from it either because it’ll just figure out where you are based on logic or simple process of elimination. Getting into a place it can’t physically reach doesn’t stop it from just removing/destroying whatever you’re hiding in/behind/under, if not even just pulling you back out with Psychic… Like let’s be real here, the second you piss it off by entering its territory or it just decides “Yeah, I’ll eat that” you’re screwed!
I think that Cerulean cave is the most dangerous area in Kanto, not only is full of strong Pokémon but is Mewtwo's lair, a super powerful and agressive Pokemon,, even for powerful trainers, in Pokémon Origins anime it was very clear that challenge it was putting your life on peril, poor Blue he barely get out alive. In Hoenn more than the fiery path, mt. chimney in general, I mean is an active volcano.
I think it's because in general one should consider the whole of Mt. Chimney as being dangerous. The Fiery Path part specifically gets called out because the crater rim has quite visible sight of where not to go and no notable pokemon. Fiery Path is much more insidious with potentially toxic fumes & notable pokemon all in a relatively confined space.
The most dangerous area in PLA is every spot where you find a pack of Paras and or Parasect. They'll learn you to respect them. Because in other games, Paras and Parasect were pretty harmless. In Hisui, if you see one attacking you > RUN
I know its technically not in a region, but Ultra space is pretty damn dangerous. Xurkitree's world alone would be in the top 3 imo because of it's constant lighting strikes
For Kanto i would like to throw the abandoned Power Plant into the Ring: Its an abandoned building with roaming creatures in it which means a lot of narrow passages and no sight, so its easy to disturb something. The building might get unstable with time plus its full of machines and other technologie that could blow up or be a threat if unsupervised and under electricity... which basically every pokemon in there emits ir is capeable of creating.
If my Fakémon region actually existed, it would have a ton of contenders, despite being a massive tourist hotspot. The following locations are all routes with dangerous landscapes, unsafe weather/air conditions, and many deadly Pokémon roaming around. Glacial Wastes: this place is a barren tundra made of nothing but ice. It hosts strong blizzards, freezing temperatures, and dangerous ice types such as Glalie, Froslass, Cetitan, and Shuffluenza (a walking zombie virus) could be anywhere. Triptroptic Jungle: think of Glimwood Tangle on steroids. 20,000 years ago, this once normal jungle was vastly altered thanks to a multiversal rift, causing hallucinogenic fungi and plant life to take over. While not super treacherous to traverse, the spores emitted from the mushrooms could cause people to get sick or trip out, and the Pokémon here can be scary. Grimmsnarl, Hatterene, Sporbarian and Sporlock (both evolutions to a regional Morelull that have fully embraced their hallucinogenic spores) all lurk here. Dead Man's Slough: what was once a healthy mangrove swamp is no more thanks to a recent Celesteela attack that set the place ablaze. Now all that's left are dead trees, the strong smell of ash, and multiple ghost type Pokémon. The Trevenant that once took care of the swamp are now blinded by a burning rage, and the Burial Site Pokémon Tunitery is a symbol of the mass destruction this Ultra Beast attack caused, with little to no hope of the swamp returning to a healthy state. This massive cluster of 10-25 skeleton panda sea squirts is capable of draining souls from those who step on them, before purifying and releasing those souls back into the wild. There is no guarantee those souls will return to their original bodies. Shifting Dunes: arguably the most treacherous location, this desert is prone to strong sandstorms, hot temperatures, and hosts plenty of mystifying and powerful Pokémon such as Cacturne, Mothlash (an invasive baphomet moth with tentacles it uses as whips to beat its targets into the ground), Claydol, Golurk, and Fabriqita (a sand cat that uses its Tapestry of Wind to shapeshift into many forms, and push the giant sand dunes like ocean waves). It is recommended you bring a ride Pokémon or dune buggy to get through this route. Despite all of these dangerous areas, this region is really beautiful, and full of insanely cool cities, landmarks, events, natural phenomena, and other places to visit. The partying also goes crazy here.
Gen 3 danger zone is the literal ocean. , specifically between Lilycove and Mossdeep. Gen 1 is Cerulean cave. The dact you arent allowed in just reinforced it. Gen 2 is mount silver. Gen 4 is Coronet. Gen 5 is tough, i think you got it correct.
It's funny that Alola is seen as a "tourist hotspot" when we don't really see that in the games. There are Sightseers but most of them don't seem to be from foreign lands. Though it's funny because we first learn of Alola because of a tourist in Kalos! Isn't the SwSh DLC still in Galar? You say it's a different region but I don't think the game actually says that, does it? Though then you put Kitakami and Blueberry in with Paldea despite them very specifically stated to be elsewhere. Sure neither of them have anything to match Area Zero, since even experts in it still get killed there. Though it's funny, since everyone that we know of that's died there has been killed by a rampaging time-displaced beast, and now that we've removed Terapagos from the underdepths, will the time portal continue to function? We shut down the machine but it was only channeling a power that already existed. Though Area Zero is wildly dangerous even without time monsters. The geography alone, the thin platforms, the sudden cliffs, the fog, the disorienting layout and constant sparkles in the air (tera dust? Can't be good for the lungs)...yeah, this place is even more dangerous than the Distortion World. At least the weird gravity there means you won't fall.
Something I've always held since the series started is that nearly everyone who says they want pokemon to be real instead means something more along the lines of they want to be part of the Pokémon world with all the different physics and such it has in place that affect its populace. Because no, realistically you do not want quite a few different pokemon to be in our world for one reason or another. And I will not budge on that. As for the list I can agree with a number of areas but reading other comments I do think there are a few honorable mentions that could've made it as each region's most dangerous.
Ironically, early humans faced Megafauna. Wherever they were, usually they encountered beasts that could be much larger than what we see today....and then there's Australia. Today it is 'World's largest collection of dangerous creatures' no matter how small...
I'm surprised for Hoenn you didn't mention the underwater caves you have to go through to get to Sootopolis. Underwater caving is even more dangerous than regular caving, for obvious reasons
I love Area Zero! And all this "most dangerous" Areas! It was or is Fun for me to play, i love to solve Riddles. Without this Riddles, the Games were be boring. So i can learn much, with this Challenges. I´ve got Pokemon Blood in my Veins.
I feel like if you're going to take points away from Cerulean Cave and Mt Silver for being restricted you should do the same for Area Zero. I think the mountain would be a much better fit for Paldea.
What about the edge of space in OR/AS? You wouldn't survive in the vacuum of space without wearing the Magma or Aqua Suit. If we're counting outer space and other dimensions, Ultra Space is probably more dangerous than Area Zero, perhaps even the native worlds of the Paradox Pokémon could be more dangerous.
This is a good one, but I feel like accessibility is an important factor when choosing locations. Otherwise we’d have all the other locations set easily. N’s Castle for unova, the Team Flare Lab in kalos… etc. It should be somewhere that the only thing holding back the explorer is their own hubris lol
Fiery Path in Hoenn is not more Dangerous than Sky Pillar or the Abandoned Ship or even any of the underwater areas. Especially the cave where you have to go activate the Regis.
disagree on hoenn. just barely to the east of fiery path is the part of route 117 that's a desert which is surrounded on all sides except for 2 openings by cliffs that're mostly impassable that not only has a constant sandstorm but also houses a legendary golem made of rocks.
to be fair just because you can enter an area doesn't mean its safe in cerulean cave's case yes you can enter but the fact only champion level trainers are permitted shows just how dangerous it is the fact they let anyone go through rock tunnel shows that the danger level isn't that high plus the points you made against cerulean cave and MT. silver can also applied to rock tunnel if your prepared then its not as dangerous
For the Alola one, I don’t think Absol living there should count it as dangerous. Their dex entries say they live in mountains. It’s not fair saying a place for dangerous because that’s where the disaster Pokémon lives when not predicting disasters. Every other reason is fair game though.
In terms of the actual world Area Zero is certainly the most dangerous place, but if we are talking external realities, I'd argue the Distortion World is the definitive most dangerous place in the series. Ultra Space dimensions still seem to follow the physics of the pokemon world, but Distortion World doesnt. Its environment should make up for it only have 1 pokemon, oh yeah but that one pokemon is the devil
I would've thought the volcanic island would be the most dangerous in Hisui In the story you have to avoid the noble pokemon while next to you are pools of lava, where you could fall into if invisible walls didn't exist
kanto: ruined lab on cinnabar johto: islands on a major route surrounded by whirlpools and easy to get lost in hoenn: active volcano with all the restrictions of a tourist trap- check! sinnoh: snow up to your neck on the way to snowpoint unova: that one house in undella town, followed by the "resort" where you can get sucked into quicksand and run into one of the most broken pokemon ever- check! kalos: the power plant, considering no one will ever find you since there's no way to access it? cyllage gym which expects random trainers to be able to free-climb with no safety precautions? i dunno, most forgettable region, worst games. alola: another active volcano with no precautions galar: vast areas where randomly powerful pokemon live waiting to destroy unsuspecting trainers- check hisui: active volcano. paldea: area zero where hikers can just fall hundreds of feet into a shifting, surreal place with some of the most dangerous pokemon to ever exist overseen by a malfunctioning ai modeled on a narcissistic and disturbed scientist- check
Every ocean, the one place with simmers are to me. The most dangerous ones. Gen3 and 2 have thosr gyrados infested waters. Did you see one in the anime? No wonders swimmers got some water pokemon on them. That shit is scary, you need some resistance ahainst it.
What's the difference between Area Zero and Cerulean cave, both are inaccessible to the public and are extremely dangerous, yet you included Area Zero while disqualifying Cerulean cave
Nah bro rock tunnel isn't it xD as you've just shown in the video, just use a pokemon with flash. For cerulean cave you can't have just a TM, you need an entire team that's strong AF
Why not Pokémon Mansion for Kanto? It's a broken-down laboratory that's filled with dangerous Poison types, and where Mewtwo was presumably made. Only Burglars and Scientists dare to remain there.
Also it's on the same island as a flipping volcano.
Pretty dangerous if you ask me
Mewtwo was made in another country, at least according to the original games.
The volcano literally erupts too
I guess the idea was that nobody has reason to actually go there, while people still have to go through Rock Tunnel, not just picnickers and mountaineers
Idk. Considering it's a requirement to get the key before entering the gym instead of the riddle thing they did in the anime. I would argue the power plant is the most dangerous. Electrodes blowing up and outstanding most pokemon, loose wires and electricity sparking around everywhere.

Crazy to think Ballonlea is just up ahead. Which means people have managed to build proper settlements there, heck the fairy type gym is there
Most dangerous place in Unova is definitely Skyla’s gym.
Best comment 😂
doesn't bricen's gym risk you falling off to the great beyond? also gordie/melody's gym also has you falling into deep pits too (seriously what the hell is up with these gym leaders)
I never get how they thought this to be okay :'D
@lightyoshiman at least with Bryce gordie and melody there's a chance they coulda cushioned the bottom so you aren't hurt. Being shot outta cannons into steel walls though? Yeah skylas vile

-hideouts of known dangerous criminal gangs such as the Celadon Game Corner, Veilstone Galactic HQ, not sure if Team Skull is actually dangerous enough for Po Town to count here
The volcano fumes in Hoenn would likely also be toxic.
As someone currently dealing with vog on the Big Island of Hawaii, I second this

I think I’d actually run like Shaggy if I found a real-life scyther or beedrill so basically every forest in the Pokémon world is off-limits for me
I would’ve said Cinnabar Island for Kanto, since it’s sitting atop an active volcano that destroys the town between games.
I’d also have said the Whirl Islands for Johto, since as the name implies, they’re surrounded by massive whirlpools. Tapu Bulu is arguably the friendliest of the bunch. It's lazy.😊

Alll the sightseerers in Alola have kantonian pokemon and have some lines of dialogue saying they’re from kanto :)
Really nice idea for a video! Good job!
Ironically, early humans faced Megafauna. Wherever they were, usually they encountered beasts that could be much larger than what we see today....and then there's Australia. Today it is 'World's largest collection of dangerous creatures' no matter how small...
The most dangerous Sinnoh spot looks like a promising place to live.😅
It feels really weird that the most dangerous places in a region aren't the places that are restricted.... because they're so dangerous.
The fact that you run two channels is impressive..keep up the good work
wait till you find out there’s 3 more 😅
Hisui: yes
Sky Pillar is super dangerous. One wrong move and you could technically fall to your death
for Unova a honorable mention should go to Black City. A dangerous city ruled by greed.
I Figured Dark Cave would be the choice for generation two for the same reason as for Rock Tunnel in generation one
I knew the Fiery Path from Hoenn would be the one, as even the first time I traveled that area I thought to myself “this doesn’t look nor sound safe.”
disagree on hoenn. just barely to the east of fiery path is the part of route 117 that's a desert which is surrounded on all sides except for 2 openings by cliffs that're mostly impassable that not only has a constant sandstorm but also houses a legendary golem made of rocks.
Neat idea for a video
to be fair just because you can enter an area doesn't mean its safe in cerulean cave's case yes you can enter but the fact only champion level trainers are permitted shows just how dangerous it is the fact they let anyone go through rock tunnel shows that the danger level isn't that high plus the points you made against cerulean cave and MT. silver can also applied to rock tunnel if your prepared then its not as dangerous
For the Alola one, I don’t think Absol living there should count it as dangerous. Their dex entries say they live in mountains. It’s not fair saying a place for dangerous because that’s where the disaster Pokémon lives when not predicting disasters. Every other reason is fair game though.
Unova Ice Gym is dangerous because it is in a cave that looks deep.
imo in Kanto it should either be Cerealean cave or Victory rd....if u have flash rock tunnel is a pushover....
Your channel is too small for being so good 😭
In terms of the actual world Area Zero is certainly the most dangerous place, but if we are talking external realities, I'd argue the Distortion World is the definitive most dangerous place in the series. Ultra Space dimensions still seem to follow the physics of the pokemon world, but Distortion World doesnt. Its environment should make up for it only have 1 pokemon, oh yeah but that one pokemon is the devil
Sad to think even the regions themselves aren’t immune to power creep.
I would've thought the volcanic island would be the most dangerous in Hisui
In the story you have to avoid the noble pokemon while next to you are pools of lava, where you could fall into if invisible walls didn't exist
Icy Path should’ve been the pick for Johto. you could literally freeze to death.
Undella Town if you just beat the elite four on BW2 challenge mode and walk into the wrong house
Blackthorn City Gym is Dangerous because it got lava in it. unless it is water with red liquid in it.
should be giant chasm for unova but desert resort makes sense too
Nah the most dangerous place in Galar is the alley in Spikemuth you get shanked in.
kanto: ruined lab on cinnabar
johto: islands on a major route surrounded by whirlpools and easy to get lost in
hoenn: active volcano with all the restrictions of a tourist trap- check!
sinnoh: snow up to your neck on the way to snowpoint
unova: that one house in undella town, followed by the "resort" where you can get sucked into quicksand and run into one of the most broken pokemon ever- check!
kalos: the power plant, considering no one will ever find you since there's no way to access it? cyllage gym which expects random trainers to be able to free-climb with no safety precautions? i dunno, most forgettable region, worst games.
alola: another active volcano with no precautions
galar: vast areas where randomly powerful pokemon live waiting to destroy unsuspecting trainers- check
hisui: active volcano.
paldea: area zero where hikers can just fall hundreds of feet into a shifting, surreal place with some of the most dangerous pokemon to ever exist overseen by a malfunctioning ai modeled on a narcissistic and disturbed scientist- check
What if The Powerpuff Girls had a favorite Pokemon region
Every ocean, the one place with simmers are to me.
The most dangerous ones.
Gen3 and 2 have thosr gyrados infested waters.
Did you see one in the anime?
No wonders swimmers got some water pokemon on them.
That shit is scary, you need some resistance ahainst it.
3:55 *_Why is Ho-oh barking?!_*
That Ultra Beast 05 universe
What's the difference between Area Zero and Cerulean cave, both are inaccessible to the public and are extremely dangerous, yet you included Area Zero while disqualifying Cerulean cave
Nah bro rock tunnel isn't it xD as you've just shown in the video, just use a pokemon with flash. For cerulean cave you can't have just a TM, you need an entire team that's strong AF
In kanto cinnabar is dangerous as there is aa freaking active volcano
The most dangerous place on any Earth is where humans exist.
Survival Area in Sinnoh
Beedrill is definitely bigger than base ball bat 😂😂
But for paldea somehow out trusty rotom phone prevents and fall damage we can take while this wasnt the case in legends arceus
What if The Powerpuff Girls had Pokemon Team
World Islands for Johto.
I think fortree bush is dangerous place in hoenn.
4:20 No, no they are not
I thought mt silver was located in Kanto
Nah in the map of HGSS it's on Johto grounds
@wilfridekoue1405 ah yeah you right, my mistake.
I’d say Burned Tower in Johto
100th like!
