- Today I’m showing you Torah crowns! We have a few ways to decorate our Torah scrolls and today I’ll show you some of them. I will explain the pieces I’m showing (keter, rimonim, choshen), why we have them, special significance and meaning etc.

I know the feeling you have being able to practically show your love as I clean the church once a month and it is never a chore. My daughter and I left Houston, Texas over 5 yrs ago, we moved to Alaska 🥴 by Choice. Mind you, I've lived all over the US, 13 States, I've visited twice as many. I wanted clean air, water and scenic Beauty every day. Bingo! We are in heaven, near Anchorage, Ak. I learned many valuable life lessons as a female in the USAF. The 3 I valued most, Prepare, Prepare, Prepare, Prepare! Also, know every inch of your own body(we're the 1st defense against illness) as well as, makeup is to enhance our natural beauty, not paint🤯. I recently watched the episode with snow (cute) and temp. below freezing 🥶. Winters are not the same anymore, we have mild winters now, north of us are the really cold areas, that's why we didn't go further north. We have less snow than the Northern lower 48 States. Your pipes froze, next is they can burst, very expensive. A couple cans of spray foam insulation or foam pipe wraps can change your winter. We carry a tote in both vehicles, complete with all necessary items to survive trapped in snow or freezing temps. Always have a full tank of gas, there's always rubbish in gas tanks, your tank has access to the rubbish in your car at very low levels anyway. Always have 2, you need Film for-The-Brownie(toilet paper) have a refill, then replace it on next store trip. Do the same with all food and cleaning basics. No room in the pantry? Basement, garage etc. We have a backup generator for power outages, we bought it for hurricane Harvey in Texas 🤬 dry socks, tea candles, lg trash bags, these take up very little room and can save your life, even in above freezing temps in you broke down car. I could go on for days but I'll end with, Prepare, Prepare, Prepare stay warm this winter in Texas, we will be toasty in Alaska.🥵🎃

Enjoy the High Holidays with the family Chana.. Loved learning about the the adornments that go on to the Torah scrolls 📜. Of course after they were polished, everything looks absolutely beautiful, but I must must say, even with the evidrnce of the tarnish, there was a certain beauty to everything. Baby Firefly seemed to have been a perfect supervisor in the background lol.

Hi Chana, G'mar Chasima Tova to you and your family. Very nice post. I personally prefer the Goddard's polish that you had on the table. I like the sponge to apply the polish and I find that it doesn't tarnish as quickly. Enjoy the rest of the chagim.

There is a fabric you can wrap your silver in and it keeps it from tarnishing.I use it for my silver, for some reason, polishing silver does not make me as happy as it makes you. 💐💜. Happy holidays, enjoy your family and friends. I have a friend in New York that is also celebrating. We met when he found one of my rocks I painted when I lived in Pennsylvania, my DIL took a few and hid them in New Jersey.He found one and his fiancé posted it on the Berks county rock group, I responded and said I’m glad you liked it, you know the tag on the back say’s keep or pass on. He choose to keep, it was a very intricate piece, a parrot of many colors. From then on, ( he is a real artist) I’m a hobby artist. We have kept in touch.He over nighted some bagels to us on 9/19, should be here 9/20, early am. We live in the wine country, they don’t drink, so I’m mounting a picture of the vineyards here . We send little things to each other, he’s been a great friend to me. I took the pick with my new Canon DSL, I know I phone’s take great pictures, but this was a year old, found it at a neighborhood garage sale, with telephoto lens and filters, in a leather bag. The person selling left the sakes receipt in the bag, every thing was almost 2000$ , he asked 100.00 , I offered him 75.00. He said sold.!! Lol I t is fun to have the DSL. Soon they will be outdated also. I’m not sure. Been thinking of
upgrading to I phone 15 pro, I currently have 13pro, and new watch, so you see they are things I don’t need. I am not as techy as you by any means, but have always enjoyed photography.

Anyway take your kids to “Camp “ store, it’s nothing to do with camping, all educational toys. My son and DIL are the designers for Camp.
