I struggle with things being perfect and get overwhelmed when they aren’t with my own work. You are doing an incredible job. I love watching your videos. You always inspire me. I was so happy to see you had a new video out. Don’t worry what people say. I hope you love what you do. Just find the joy in the craft and do it how it makes you happy :)
I love the vibrancy of the first two cards the most but the 3rd one is very pretty too! I struggle with blending so that may have swayed me! 😂

Hey Simon, hang in there. Perfect isn’t why we started watching you when you were wee, it was your personality and enthusiasm! Your expectations of yourself maybe your biggest obstacle… I like what you show and how you inspire. If you need a break, have one, do something different for a while and you will find your mojo again!

All of the cards are amazing Simon. Hard to choose a fav. I love the lunar paste over the stenciling, what a great, subtle effect. And the mushroom card, all the blending to get different colors & depth. Very nice.
Please know that “perfect” is not what we expect from your videos, (or anyone’s, for that matter). We watch because of your personality, & because of how you inspire all of us. We all need a break sometimes though. I hope you’re able to relax & enjoy those breaks when you do take them. But remember that our creations are handmade, not hallmark printed. Each is a unique work of art, wether we manage to place everything perfectly or if it’s all a little wonky. A unique work of art. We’re here for the friendship & the inspiration. Not perfection.
Loved your expression when you said “this is still some awkward die cutting.” I chuckled. Thank you for being willing to chance making a mistake on camera. I appreciate RUclipsrs who don’t have to appear perfect, it helps those of us who make frequent mistakes know that y’all are human too.
I love the wild flower card, I was not sure I liked the design of the folder but after seeing your card I loved it. I have all your pastes and use them all the time, along with your sentiments. The Bayer technique is beautiful, I am going to try it soon. Remember mental and physical health is important, take breaks, vacation, and just go for a walk, and cuddle dogs. Seeing your card making is always inspiring.

I truly loved all the cards and the extra flair you brought with the solar paste. I love that brayer trick and the reality you bring. And sometimes you need to take a breather!
I like them all, but the 2nd card most, because of the final detail with Lunar paste that makes it shine!

The mushroom card was great, but when I saw the Altenew embossing folder matted onto the purple background, WOW!
My favorite was the flowers and that super finish with the solar sparkle! The mushroom card was so colorful!! As always, another awesome, informative video. Next week....SBC FEST!!! YAY!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Simon! I have both the solar and lunar pastes, but I never thought to use a brayer, so thank you. I really like the effect of lunar paste on card #2. It added such a great dimension to the embossed flowers without covering up much of the color. I appreciate you.

We all struggle with MOJO at times. You use my key word...play. I find that if I take the 'perfect' out of what I do, no one has to see it but me, if it turns out, great! If it doesn't, it is only paper! I love watching you and how your ideas process. You rock.

When you do the product review of the glue dispenser, please include how you refill the bottle. Some great card ideas! Love the first mushroom card - super colorful, yet soft. I can relate to having your mojo go on walkabout; mine left for over a year and has finally returned.

Simon! This was awesome! I have been in that mojo funk for a couple months now...we have a son who is struggling with sobriety and it takes a toll on the family. BUT, if I can get my butt in my crafting space and create, I know it makes me feel better. If I'm lost as where to start, I either ink blend backgrounds or do stencils! I love using my stampwheel for that! Thank you for your great videos!

I always enjoy your videos! You do a terrific job teaching us. I normally gravitate toward flowers, but I love the Moroccan embossing folder and how you blended that gorgeous background! The Solar Paste was the perfect finishing touch.

Oh gosh I loose my mojo often. So what I try to do is challenge myself to go grab any stamp set and see what I can do! Lol not all are pretty but it gets me moving! Never worry about if people like or don’t, u can’t please everyone… but u sure make a ton of us very happy all the time!! Hugs!!
