Its no wonder artists online can't help but fill their sketchpads with giant eyes. They're very fun to draw! Especially when you fill the iris with fun little details
This was a really cool video! I feel like at some point I’d want to see a video on how you choose colors for your art. For some reason I’ve found that I seem to be struggling with finding colors that don’t look weird and actually look interesting together in art.
Draw the eyes at the same time. You will forget how you drew the other eye if you drew only one first. It's a technique for trad. artists- tho, if you're a digital artist and find it a bit "wonky" you can liquify and fix it. If you're being too lazy, then copy paste and fix(liquify and stuff) to make it a bit more natural. Why you need to liquify it is because it'll either look un-natural or cross-eyed.
I was expecting that you were gonna show how to render too But you talked about important stuff when drawing the eye Very beginner friendly tutorial!!!
I'm currently in the process of deep diving into learning art and I just wanted to say thank you for the video. I've always struggled with the eyes, but this video was so informative while not being overwhelming that I feel much more confident in being able to draw them. So glad to have found your channel and I think that your art is stunning!
2:50 is such a big tip. I never knew why the eyes I draw still look flat despite knowing the other things, it's because I'm not taking the cone shape into consideration
This was very helpful for me understanding the anatomy of an eye! Thank you so much for popping up randomly on my recommendations so I can learn more to help me learn more about drawing and art in general❤
DAMN! I had to pause and rewind a couple of times to marvel at the production quality. Super amazing video, was such a joy to watch!! You explained the eye so much more clearer than I've ever seen anyone do on RUclips 👁
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Your art style is by far one of the most amazing I’ve ever seen, so it’s awesome to be able to learn from you! Please keep up the amazing work!✨
Great video! Love that your real eye reference pictures in the 3 minute area are a majority of greenish eyes with central heterochomia, in which out of some baias is my favorite possible eye feature, as well as iris freckles!
This entire video was very entertaining and also quite helpful! I occasionally will look up tutorials and get burnt out, but this one appeared on my home page and I was entertained the whole time! I'll be sure to try out these techniques! (As well as drawing more spheres in perspective... 😭)
I KNOW RIGJTT it’s so well edited and felt like she was actually explaining bit by bit instead of just shoving info in my face and expecting me to understand and apply it I subbed like instantly lol
I think you can call the lacrimal caruncle the tear duct for short. I have seen a lot of eye tutorials but yours is fun and easy to follow. I really love those experiences that you shared in the video, it's really nice to learn something new about things that are familiar.
This video is a masterpiece. The content, the narration, the editing, the music. Everything is so well put together. Congratulations and thanks for the video!
I’ve been getting drawing eye burn out (somehow) cuz there are way too many different ways of drawing eyes and I can’t pick which is best for the drawingggg but this gave me motivation to draw eye! For that, I thank u
Doing makeup daily really helps to pay attention to facial features and how to shape them. I'd say learning about makeup can help a lot with drawing all the parts of the face
Thanks for the informative video! I find your artstyle so mesmerising, you're one of my favourite artists especially for the way you draw eyes. I appreciate the way you explain everything in detail so we can understand your process!! :D
i have LITERALLY been struggling on drawing eyes, and then this popped up on my fyp. You have no idea how much this is helping me. I love your editing style of of course your art style. But, can you make a tutorial on how you pick your colors? That would be most helpful. Keep posting!!!
woah, this video is actually really helpful and engaging! Most videos I've seen go into so much detail I don't actually know what's important, so it's really nice to find your channel randomly lol. Thank you for the super helpful video!
I've found you today on RUclips, and let me just say that I imediatly watched all your videos. Just wanted to say that, they're good for learning, cure boredom, and improving my art :3 A BIG Thank you, keep going!
At the risk of making a redundant comment, this taught me more than any art tutorial ever has, and I have seen thousands. I especially enjoyed how you explained perspective. I appreciated your comparisons to common objects. Ie: the eye as a ball, while noting protrusions and inverted cones and whatnot. I will be recommending this video to other artists. Thank you for this! Nice editing as well, though I do hope you find an editor! I would edit for you, but my editing skills are mid at best. 😂 Still, getting to see more from you would be a privilege. You're an excellent teacher.
I was making a human version of zooble when I saw this and I realized I should make my art style simpler so that I can animate and draw in my artstyle more often
I was literally just drawing an eye when I got the notification

the more common phrase for "lacrymal caruncle" is "tear duct" :^) 👍
THE WAY YOU DRAW EYES IS JUST AMAZING OH MY GOSH!… KEEP IT UP!!
