(WARNING: Long comment ahead.) Your videos are so informative and helpful! I've been drawing ever since I was a kid. Back then, I always just drew what I wanted out of fun and just because I wanted to improve. I never really cared about anatomy, perspective, etc. back then but as I grew older, so did my insecurity about my drawings not improving. Seeing kids younger than me drew way better made me slowly lose hope of improving. Even one of my friends called me out if my drawing was still in the same style back then. Ever since then, I only drew in school projects and contests but not out of enjoyment or fun. I feel hopeless when I try to draw for fun and when I start to draw something, I either tear the page or erase it because I was so disappointed in myself and felt that I wasted my talent and the spark of drawing slowly flickers out. But one day, I accidentally clicked on one of your videos about how to draw heads, I was intrigued by how you explain and demonstrate the steps that I also started to follow the steps and draw. When I was finished, I was in awe of my drawing. The spark that I thought disappeared was slowly starting to light up. Ever since then, I watch your tutorials on how to draw. I decided to learn back from the beginning and I've noticed the improvements of drawing that I never thought I would see in my lifetime. I've started drawing out of fun now thanks to you. All I can say is, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for lighting the spark back in me. You don't know me and I don't know you. But I still want to thank you for giving me inspiration to not give up and improve myself.
Great video! Personally I struggle to draw a single character consistently from different angles and poses. It would be amazing if you made a video about this!
Learn to rotate basic shapes like cubes , pyramids, cilinders in every single direction and freepoint perspective , this is the most important part :learn to be a fly on the wall observing the shapes
chomang, i have been a 2 year experienced artist and i still don't know how to draw anatomy, but ur videos has helped me alot, THANK you for improving my art style and basically everything, i love you💗💗💗💗
I really love your drawing style. Your videos showing face drawing helped me get past significant roadblocks in my drawing and this just continues to assist. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone!
I started to draw when I was 8 yrs old, and now, almost 18, I'm looking to rekindle my love for drawing. I love your videos! Thank you so much for them!
Thank you, a million times. What you said in this video, the way you approach gesture drawing, it's really helping me overcome my fear of failure. Not in art actually but in general. I haven't been able to do my assignments at all for the past two weeks out of fear that I won't be able to do them, but this gave me the courage to start at least one of them. I don't think I can communicate how thankful I am 💛
I am always amazed at your simplistic approach to your subject. It really allows me to freely create with confidence without being too hard on myself. Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and wisdom.
@chommang_drawing I want to thank you for these videos. I work a day job (9-6), and i find it really hard to spend time on tutorials; and it gets frustrating when i can't seem to improve or understand certain aspects. However, i do draw on a daily basis just to improve and see how far i can go. Your videos have made my journey so much more fun and i have improved a great deal. You share a great deal of knowledge and in a manner that's easy to understand for others. thank you.
THIS IS ACTUALLY THE BEST TUTORIAL I'VE EVER WATCHED, I've struggled with improving my art for so long (and if I did improve a bit it was never up to my standards.) Originally, I was skeptical if this was actually a good tutorial, and I was so, so wrong. This was AMAZING. I've made more improvements to my art in the last 2 hours after I watched this video than all the years I've been drawing. It's not just teaching me to draw one pose or one thing like other tutorials I've watched, this tutorial gave me something I can apply to EVERYTHING! It's easy to learn with and use!! Awesome work dude, kudos to you!!! :))
You are amazing! I love your videos. Your my fav drawing channel and i can watch your videos to help me practice understanding korean. Because i trying to learn so i can move to south korea and become a flight attendant. Thank you so much. 매우 감사합니다
It is! Actually if you would like to understand what he said just turn on the captions on the top right corner of the screen it was a very helpful video for learning body anatomy( not really more like how to draw it without REALLY having to know how)
I love the fact you show and admit to your mistakes (even though I didn’t notice a thing until you pointed them out). Really helps with my perspective of things needing to be perfect the first time or else it’s doomed😭
When I first began drawing using your videos, I was always drawing heads but now I more into drawing body's. This is gonna help me alot. Thank you Chommang!🤍
I honestly spent a very long time trying to find methods and ways of drawing and studying a figure that I could follow along with and visualise easily, and until I found this channel I found it very difficult to find one. Thank you for your amazing advice, and giving me that booster I needed in my art journey ❤
Torso is as tall as the head and neck Hips are tall as head, as wide as shoulders Draw elbows until hips, hands around pelvis, hands around the size of the face Legs are half the entire body length
I came here to relax myself from my hectic college assignments, I wanna listen to that calm voice while also learning the drawing technique, but I didn't expect that these words 04:16 - 04:27 would tear me up immediately, hahaha :" I know he talks about the drawing but for me it's not about drawing.. I made a mistake while presenting my work a few days ago, and i was so mad about it. Now I realize that I just need to fix it next time, I should not be hard on myself. This is so unrelated to drawing lol, but thanks. I love your tutorials so much, and those words means a lot to me ^^
Спасибо за перевод на русский язык, смотрю каждое твое видео, и именно твои shorts помогли мне начать снова рисовать, спустя 12 лет перерыва. Огромные спасибо 🙏 С Новым годом! 🎉
Wonderful tips! Thank you! When I watched the video, minutes passing and passing… I noticed a part of the video that you were consent about the mistakes that new artists make (even their stress), like if you went through of those mistakes; years or months or weeks (I don’t know your backstory, so I’m assuming 👍), dominating the art process, and finally, deciding to create a RUclips channel, to make sure that people learn without stressing themself. Although, sadly, there will be people trying to ruin your/their self esteem or restrict it - making you/their very insecure of their art/creation.(PD: I am not good at english) Thank you for your tips! Watched your tips from: Puerto Rico, USA.
Completely unrelated but the Samsung ringtone at 14:30 made me laugh on the inside for no reason. Great work by the way! I love how simple and clean your lines are and your art style as a whole! Keep up the great work!
You taught me how to draw. I will never forget you. Keep posting educational content for drawing, you are my favorite
