Finally a tutorial where someone doesn't talk much but actually show us how to practice, and draw instead of non-stop nonsense "blah blah and buy my brushes and merch" video.
You're not even speaking my language but i understand this tutorial more than any others, your lines aren't completely perfect but that doesn't mean that you can't draw perfectly and gives me hope that someday i will be a great artist just like you 😊
Brother, i have been struggling drawing girls for 20+ years and now i see you using 2 circles and it immediatly became clear. Crazy how understanding this helped me so much.
@@FélixMoralesCano ur right I meant for beginner, lyou start from this and then imporvise with working on muscles and the organs I think thats how its works
So thankful for the fact that he keeps going even despite the fact his circles are shaky, I always hated the way I do art due to my shaky and badly drawn circles, this just proved to me that even though the circles aren’t perfect, it can still turn out amazing
Hello Chommang, very grateful that you made this! I usually save your videos to a playlist to watch later and study, but I never get the chance to. Seeing this anatomy tutorial (I struggle most with anatomy) made me realize that if I never start study I’ll never get anywhere. Thank you!
I understand if you don't read every comment on all of your videos, but if you do read this: thank you so much for this tutorial. Although I know I still have quite a ways before I'm happy with my drawings after giving up for a while, this tutorial made me recognize that day might come sooner than I ever thought. Again, thank you so much, and I hope you have a great day!
This tutorial reminds me of a Bob Ross painting video. Simple, yet complex. Exciting, yet relaxing. Not to mention, this guy has such a soothing voice. The drawing starts off very simple and imperfect looking with only two or three asymmetrical shapes. In that moment, all you're thinking is, "How can this possibly turn into a symmetrical human being?" Then all of a sudden, the lines and shapes comes together into a good looking drawing. Bob Ross would usually start off his paintings with an unexpected color or simple technique that you could not believe would work out in the end, but somehow everything always came together to make a great looking painting. I think this tutorial reminds me that good looking art is generally made up of these simple fundamentals: simple shapes, correct angles, and understanding the structure/proportions of what you're drawing. Obviously there are other fundamentals like: light, color, perspective, form, composition, and value. But in the simplest terms, good looking art is just shapes, angles, and structure. If anyone reading this is struggling with art discouragement, just remind yourself to be patient with the process of improvement. Have fun, relax, and draw what inspires you. Learn how to apply art fundamentals into what you are inspired to draw. Art is about the process of self-expression and improvement, not about proving yourself or being better than anyone else. Celebrate small improvements and use every flaw as a learning opportunity. I like to compare drawing with playing the piano. Every line you draw is like playing a musical note. Put them all together and they make a song. One thing I learned from playing the piano that translates well into drawing is the aspect of gentleness. You can't force yourself to do everything at once, but you can learn one step at a time. With enough intentional practice, you will get better and better. After enough time, it will come naturally and become less uncomfortable to you. Remember, when a pianist practices the piano, they don't struggle to hit every note and get angry when they mess up. Instead, they relax, focus on what they want to improve, and allow their body to flow naturally through the muscle memory of what they practice or they keep practicing until they get it. Relax, know your goals, and keep practicing.
Dang. you have no idea how much i've improved thanks to your tutorial. The majority of these tutorials tell us to use basic shapes but this tutorial is by far the simplest and easiest of all of them! Kudos to you, sir!
Nah cuz this genuinely helped me sm😭😭 i saw many other anatomy tutorials, but this is the only where I could actually draw a body without thinking its weird, can't wait for more vids‼️

Thank you for these videos man, you don’t know how much I appreciate them. I’ve been struggling with drawing figures. Drawing along with you is pushing me out of my fear of drawing the figure. You are giving us hope!
this video actually helped me so so much with how to draw bodies. i would use different shapes and watch different videos and still would be stumped and struggle, but drawing just 2 circles and creating the body from there made it so much easier, especially for me to understand. i guess it's super simplified but it works and it's so good for beginners. it also is so good for creating different poses which i really wanted to do. i guess the only thing that still is difficult for me is drawing a perspective view like looking from above/below. but his examples are so well done and helped a ton. also him using the pencil to measure where certain body parts go is so smart, and explaining where what should be. how long, with what they should align with, where the arms come down to, etc. i understand so much better now. thank you !
wow this is by far the best tutorial ive seen for beginners and i dont even speak your language but i understand what your saying more than those who speak english
This helped me a lot! Also learned how to draw muscles, and now all I have to learn is how to draw hands, feet, expressions, moods, shading, hair, cool effects- buts that another thing for another day! (I should be asleep by now)
Is anyone else like mad its this obvious? Like just start off with circles and try your best despite it being messy. Seeing that his drawing aren't perfect exact lines or shapes at first is very relieving. It's amazing. Great tutorial!
thank yo so much for this video! i am always so intimidated to try drawing figures past the basic pose (even that is hard!). I really loved how easily you explained everything and that you did not stop at basic poses. I was surprised when i was actually able to follow along! i now feel less nervous/intimidated when i think of practising and learning figure drawing/doing reference drawings because i know i did it one time via this video and have learned a bit about simplifying the process. Thank you again!
