Anyway, I do hope you’re feeling much better and I just wanted you to know, as someone attempting to self teach, you’re help and guidance has been priceless. Besides being a wonderful artist, you have the rare quality of clearly explaining and demonstrating how you do what you do. I think you need to be acknowledged for wanting to share your craft. It’s something I love about the Creative Community. The willingness and generosity to pass on knowledge freely (LASU - Like A Sir University). Thank you! …And can we also applaud you on your exceptional English and humour!! Your videos are always a pleasure to watch.

This helped me a tonne. The diamond shape for the lower leg and triangle for the forearms has made my drawings alot better and clearer. I just graduated from animation but I wasnt taught drawing like this. It's hard trying to keep up with everyone when they've been practicing for so long. Every art teacher I came across would let us draw first and then they would come over to give vague feedback to fix it. I wish we were taught more specific shapes like this video, and then continue to elaborate from there with different angles. The piece of feedback I hated the most was "Your anatomy's a bit wrong" and then they would never tell me.
Anyways, your channel is now a rabbit hole for me as I've opened up the other videos mentioned midway.
    Truly a sir. Thanks Marcel!

The way you're able to use visuals is super helpful and shockingly enough a lot of art tutorials don't do this very well. From a young age, I've always loved watching anime, reading manga, and daydreaming about my favorite characters in an anime. That is why from the first day of watching it, I started to draw, but, I do admit, I'm not the best at it. But, I still tried because it felt like... destiny? When I was around the age of ten, I became pretty much devoted to drawing. I am now fourteen, and still love to draw and watch a whole ton of anime. I recently discovered your channel and got really invested in watching your videos on anatomy, drawing bodies, etc. You and your spectacular videos have had a big impact on my life and have motivated me to set new goals in my life! I have four main goals: Get better than my younger sister at drawing, continue watching your videos, draw my favorite anime character(Muichiro Tokito from Demon Slayer/ Kimetsu No Yaiba) on a poster and hang it in my room, and create manga like you! I hope you continue your amazing RUclips channel and keep motivating people like me. Thank you so much for changing my life and my goals!

when he says:"Practice". Does he mean watch this video 5 times and draw along every time just so I can compare my drawings along the way? Because that's what im doing.

I know I'm 4 months late but I just thought to give my knowledge as someone who's been doing this for a good long while. It often helps to practice while watching over the video you're referencing. But don't forget to practice on your own. You don't wanna end up like me where for a good bit I couldn't draw without a video telling me how. Again I know it's late but I hope this advice serves you well. Happy drawing!

I took a lot of drawing courses in college, including two figure study classes. None of them gave me the extra shape detail that this video did and I think it's going to help me quite a bit!

00:33 🎨 Understanding correct proportions is crucial in drawing realistic human figures.
01:56 📐 Utilize advanced shapes instead of basic ones like circles and rectangles when sketching.
03:22 💪 Focus on triangular shoulder structures for better anatomical representation.
05:42 🏋️‍♂️ Incorporate lateral abdominal muscles for balanced torso proportions.
07:07 🦵 Thigh muscles are larger and stronger than biceps; emphasize their size in drawings.
08:01 👣 Use diamond shapes for lower leg representation, considering proportions and balance.
