I hate when people say things like ''I can only draw a stickman but this man is the art god'' no people, NO! You work hard to be good, you are not just born being good at art. Of course you can start of with a stickman!
EXACTLY. nobody starts off being great, you have to work and practice to get there
Yeah its what annoys me honestly when people think talent is the only reason someone is good at something when talent is nothing more than a headstart its motivation passion trail and error and hardwork that really gets you far and accomplish things
Yea lol, when i was still a kid, i only draw stickman, then basic human (kid drawing), then some cartoons, and now i draw anime and some games and movie characters, so people can draw good because they are working hard, start from bad > good,
Every people who only can draw stickman, can draw a real human if they are working hard nad learn to draw good.
Seriously it gets very annoying for me, or whenever they say something along the lines of, “I cant even draw a circle”. It can be difficult to draw one, but it’s not that hard. I’m sure if they put enough effort they can do it. (Sorry I’m not superb (it means very good) at placing punctuations if there are any mistakes please tell me!)
I try to draw good if i make it look bad i hate my art

Yep! Drawing is 25% knowledge, 75% practice. He gives us the knowledge, now we just need to practice!
I love that this has a unique energy to it. It’s not another boring tutorial saying “now you can draw this specific thing but only this. I’m not telling you how to break it down or understand it.” It’s entertaining and it m a k e s s e n s e .
I really like how you broke down basic exercises to practice this. The way your example's elbow was BIGGER for some reason kinda blew my mind, like "OH, because the upper arm comes at me, and then ends at the elbow, which shoots off to another angle to the smaller wrist." It's so simple, but the funny part is, I work in 3D all the time, but creating these "illusions" with 2D still catches me off guard once in a while!
I really like how much you distilled into a short video. Thank you!

When I was in highschool, I drew flat pictures. Never understood the importance of dynamism until I had my art roasted to hell and back, that humbling was enough to allow me to hone my craft and I've slowly been getting to the point of true dynamism. @@koyomin241 Late response but it was flat /uninspired poses and stuff. I always played it safe, complete lack of dynamism on a lot of stuff to make drawings exciting. Foreshortening is but one element one can use to give a picture its personality, and its a pretty important one for me personally.
