My mom had pancreatic cancer. It took her 2 weeks of active dying. The only thing she said about heaven was “it’s beautiful” - so comforting! Praying for you!
I'm so sorry to all of you commenting, as well as this lovely lady posting this video. I lost my mom and dad within a year of each other too. It's been quite a few years now but both events are still never far from my mind. I miss my Mom. I miss my sweet Dad. I miss their home, my home, for all of my growing up years. Living without both of them involves so many things that people who still have their parents, have not been through. Even though I have siblings, it's a lonely feeling living every day not hearing their voices or asking my mom what I should do about this or that. Sending so much love out to all of you. I can not wait for the days we will see them again in Heaven.

My condolences on the loss of your mother. When my grandmother passed away, my grandson was young and wanted to know where his nannie was going. Because he was that young I just told him she moved to a better neighborhood with Jesus. He looked right at me and said oh okay. My mother is elderly and I know my time for this is coming. I think about it a lot. There are no words that are enough to express the loss of a loved one. Just remember, she is not gone. She just moved to a better neighborhood and you will see her again. ❤❤❤❤

Hi Amy. I'm incredibly sorry for the loss of your Mom. My prayers are with you all in this difficult time. I wanted to share a story...I am a nursing assistant. I've seen many many people pass. The wonderful part of it is having my residents staring up in the distance. I asked one once what she saw. She said so many angels. Others see God. It is the most beautiful and comforting experience to be there with them in that peaceful setting. Yes, death is sad (for us) but is also a wonderful time (for them) to see everyone waiting for them to cross over. I am comforted by this, as I'm sure you are too. The Lord is waiting and gives us peace. Many blessings and comfort...
I am so so sorry Amy. I am 39 and my mum is in end of life care. She had breast cancer which then came back 2 years later as a brain tumour. You have given me so much comfort and continue to do so. I hope you are getting all the comfort you need and deserve also 💜

You’ll forget she’s gone for short times until you almost buy her Ginger at the Fair because she loved it & I always bought it for her every year there. Amazing moments like tonight when I remembered learning to pat dry lettuce leaves with my Mum. I’m 71 & she passed away nearly 30 years ago. ❤

My mom had cancer and there was nothing they could do for her but keep her comfortable. 5 months after losing my Mom I lost my sister unexpectedly. Please remember that their is no time limit on grief. It’s ok to cry and miss them. We know they are in heaven because the Bible says Absent from the body is present with the Lord. We lost my Mil to cancer, She wanted to die at home surrounded by her large family, then she was in a coma, but didn't go until everyone showed up. Then my Mom died a year later. It not something you ever get over. I was in Walmart one day and thought I saw her, I cried all the way through the store because I couldn't stop. You have a lot going on, if you need to take a break, we'll all be here when you get back. Prayers for comfort for all of you. I can't help but wonder what she was seeing.
Being in public, micro-briefly thinking you see someone before remembering that they have died is the worst, worst thing. I'm so sorry for your loss. When I was a child, my mother saw someone who looked like her recently deceased fiance. He was standing at a jewelry counter to look at rings. It was all I could do to get her out of the store and back into the car.

what a beautiful experience you had with your Mom. I was also with my Dad when he passed from Cancer. Same experience, He couldn't talk any longer on the last day but he was reaching up his hand and moving his mouth with wide open eyes. I told him to go, he had nothing more to do here on this earth and he is now free. He passed about 3 hours later. I think you feel the same way I do, sad to see them go but happy for them.

Sepsis ,blood poisoning is what took my daughter we went to the hospital March 21 and she went to be with Jesus March 30,2022 . I never left the hospital she also was ready . My sister set up a Facebook live chat for me to say goodbye. I said my goodbyes and told her it was okay to go to Grams and Gramps. She passed early the next morning.

Being with both parents at the very moment they entered in God's presence was beyond 'difficult' for sure but such a wonderful gift for which we will be forever grateful. Oh Amy, I am so sorry for the loss of your mum. My mum passed away three weeks ago, although she was in a nursing home (only 73) for three years. I was numb for two weeks, but grateful that she's now with the Lord Jesus and in no pain , no more dementia or kidney failure, but with Jesus xxx

Sending prayers to you and your family. Loss is never easy. I live in Michigan and my Mom was in Kentucky when she passed. Unfortunately, I couldn't be with her. My sister set up a Facebook live chat for me to say goodbye. I said my goodbyes and told her it was okay to go to Grams and Gramps. She passed early the next morning.

So sorry for your loss. You words brought back so many bitter sweet memories of my own Mom's passing. It will be 9 years on March 5. But what struck me was when you asked about their soul leaving before their heart stops beating. That is the first time I've heard someone else express the same thought I had those few hours before my Mom passed. I felt the same thing with Mom--that she was already in His presence. Amy, I'm very sorry about your mom. I know it's tough to go through, but I believe you brought as much grace to it as you possibly could, and was there for her when she most needed. My condolences to you and your children, your dad, your brother, and all of the rest of your mom's family and friends.
Amy- my heart hurts for you. I am deeply sorry. It all seemed to happen so very quick. I am thankful that you were able to make it there in time and got to spend time with her just talking. Some days it won't seem real, then you will remember. Grieving is a process and everyone does it differently. I am in tremendous awe of your strength. You have been so strong. Thank you for sharing your Mom's story with us. And don't ever worry about just sitting down to talk with us, you can always do that. If you decide you have more you want to share, we will always listen. I am sending continued prayers, comfort, love, and hope that your days will get better.

Oh Amy! You have my deepest sympathy. My sisters and I lost our Dad in 2015 and our Mama in 2020; hospice was the most wonderful, amazing and comforting part of both their dying processes - and it IS a process. Being with both parents at the very moment they entered in God's presence was beyond 'difficult' for sure but such a wonderful gift for which we will be forever grateful. May you rest peacefully in His comforting arms and draw strength from His precious words. Blessings to you all.
My heart goes out to you Amy. Burying my mother was the hardest thing I ever did. It been over 10 years, and I still reach to pick up the phone to call her. At first it was painful, now it is comforting. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
