Hi Amy, well what a wonderful Baby Shower and Lauren looks radiant. This baby is definitely blessed to have so many people who will love him and no shortage of baby sitters lol! Lauren will make a beautiful mum just like her mum has been to her. Thank you for inviting me and letting us share in this special time.❤️
My 3yr. old grand-daughter and I watched the video today. She kept asking " Where's Samuel?" I told her he was still in his mommys tummy like she was. She wanted to see him now. I told her God wasn't done helping him grow and he'll come when it's time. She just said "awww Oma, I really wanted to see him today". So, Samuel has a fan waiting for his arrival!

Becoming a grandmother for the first time is wonderful, but all the rest a great too. I will be a grandmother again in 2022 to twins. We knew someone in our family would have twins and it turns out to be my son.
It was so wonderful to share with Lauren and Mathew today. I feel like I watched her grow up.. thanks for letting us share in the joy... God Bless..

I put artichoke in mine , lots of green onions n spinich, lots of parmesan cheese n Monterey jack , garlic, mayo,sour cream.
I have Lauren in my prayers. That baby and every baby is so special. My first decided two weeks early was a good time then spent 11 days in NICU. Her brother (my third) was three weeks early and did his ‘naughty’ time in NICU. My middle one came out thumbs up winking at the nurses.
Lauren and Matthew will be amazing parents.

Spinach dip is my go to party side. I use this recipe and everyone loves it. But I use the Hawaiian bread. Cut a whole in the middle save the top to put back on. Scoop out bread pieces put the dip in. Tastes so good with the bread. looks great too.

Amy, i dont know if anyone mentioned to you next time youre doing grapes in bulk put them on the chopping board and lay a flat plate or smaller chopping board over then and run your knife between the cover and the board they are on they will be evenly sliced and time wont be a problem.
How very exciting as I watch this me and my daughter are going over stuff for her baby shower! This is baby number 5 for this grandma, but every baby shower we give is always special. Congrats to you and your family!!

When you are slicing small veggies like cherry tomatoes, olives or grapes, stick them between 2 plastic container lids and slice horizontally. it will save you loads of time!

We have two and live very close to them and see them almost daily, now that’s a true Blessing to us ,as they r bring us so much Joy every time we see them! We love them so much ! Lipton dry vegetable soup mix also works in spinach dip. I find it’s cheaper than knorr’s. I also use chopped spinach which I squeeze dry in a clean dish towel and then chop into small pieces. Yum

Two tips. If you have an egg slicer for boiled eggs, use it for your ripe olives. The little tomatoes and the grapes can be put between two larger deli container lids, outside out on both, and slice through them with a long knife. They are halved when you take the lid off! Look up Rachel Ray's way to slice the tomatoes if you don't understand my instruction.

The shower looked so fun! When Aunt Madeline was asked what she got and she said “ I have no idea!” It made me laugh. Jayden did an amazing job filming. My daughter is pregnant and due in January. Grand babies just fill our heart with joy. Congratulations Mimi.
